Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit My son is 6'6" and very slim. He has a difficult time finding pants that fit well and are long enough. He needed hiking pants for his job as a camp counselor this summer. These pants are perfect! He loves the fit and the quality of the fabric and they are long enough. Would definitely buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Go-To pants for hiking off trail in brush country I've been using versions of these pants for years, for cool weather and/or off trail exploits in any kind of brush. The material/fit is what hooked me. My complaints are minor - this model uses a snap on the waistband instead of a button. Ugh. It pops with any large bending motion, so keep your belt tight. The other hiccup is the 'phone pocket', strangely sized and located, not really useful for anything except maybe a spare energy bar. Neither of those issues disqualifies these as staples of my trail wardrobe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pants Not All The Same The legs are a little tight on all 6 pair but one pair is way too short it is not the length that it is on the tag. Would like to return this pair for another pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect These are very comfortable and perfect to wear all day. A great casual almost business casual look. The only imprivement that I would recommend is to change the top snap design for closing the pants. While the zipper functions well, this top closure will occasionally snap open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pants anywhere I am a LONG time Columbia ultimate ROC pant wearer. When the ultimate roc pants were discontinued I was bummed but quickly ordered the ultimate roc II and I am SO glad I did. The only thing I didn't like about the Ultimate ROC was the size of the lower leg. It was way too large of an opening which made the pants look silly with casual shoes. In the Ultimate II this was corrected. The thigh now fits just a bit too snug but I'll order the next size up and be perfectly happy.I work mostly in an office setting but sometimes have to quickly transition into delivery/warehouse work. These pants fit the bill perfectly. They look dressy for office use and hold up well for warehouse/delivery uses. As my old ultimate ROC's wear out I'll replace with the Ultimate II.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coloradoengineer I've worn these to work (desk job) for many years. I find they're comfortable and easy. They're look more professional than jeans and they're cooler for warmer months. Just tried the zinc color. Like jeans and goes with about anything.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pants... ...I just wish they came in a little heavier material.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from sizes are off Order two pairs in different colors in the same size. I tried the 1st pair on and it fit true to size. I assumed the 2nd pair had to be the same so I cut the tags. Three days later I went to wear that 2nd pair and surprise surprise I could only get the waist closed if I sucked in my stomach and the thighs were super tight. Both pants were the same size but fit drastically different. I kept the proper fitting pair and now in week two the waist button keeps popping open whenever I bend down whether it's to tie my shoes or just to get into my car and keep in mind the waist isn't even tight. This is the 3rd time I've bought these pants over three years and the material quality and how they're put together has definitely plummeted. I read reviews on other sites about these pants with complaints of bad sizing, button issues and that the overall quality of the pants has gone down but dismissed them since I've always been satisfied with these pants. Hindsight is 20/20 and I should've paid attention to those complaints. I hope Columbia gets on the ball and addresses these production issues and go back to the pants I loved in years past or else I can't patronize the company anymore. 36x34

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outdoor wear These pants are exactly what is needed for rock climbing. They will be my go to pants for rock hunting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SNAP VS BUTTON Only thing wrong with these pants is the snap instead of a more substantial fastener like a heavy duty button closure. Otherwise, completely satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough, comfortable, functional I bought this pant for its water repellency; it has become my favorite due to the combination of comfort and toughness of the fabric. It even kept me warm enough on a blustery 30 degree day. The accessory pockets are a plus. I couldn't ask for for more, except a second pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants for work or evening I bought these for my husband. They are durable pants that he could easily wear for work or hiking, etc. however they also look great with a collared shirt or sweater for an evening get-together with friends. Fit is good - not boy-band tight at all, not baggy...just right. Great pants.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what they use to be. I have numerous pairs of these pants, they wear really good, so I decided to replace some of my older pants, I am so disappointed in these new pants, they fit totally different, smaller legs, not enough room if you plan on actually using them for anything besides standing. Columbia must have cut back on material usage....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tall fit Hard to find quality products in tall sizes but these pants are great. I am a trim 6'7" and these are perfect and the quality is very good. I will probably buy another pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Initial revie I have only had these for two weeks so far, but great for business casual. Pants fit well. Snug, not loose nor cinching. Cut is full, so pant doesn't cling to your legs. Color is true to picture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I look good in these pants. I bought these pants because i spend a lot of time standing outside in rainy, windy conditions and i wanted something besides rain gear. These pants worked well the first time out. It was rainy, windy and muddy and my legs stayed dry. I also look good in these pants; always a plus.
