Men's Silver Ridge™ Vest 4.6 5 15 15
Silver Ridge Vest My husband loves this vest with all the pockets, places for glasses, phone, wallet, keys. Very cool, yet warm, good looking. The XL is not extremely large - just right. A little long and snug... so if you are deciding an XL might be too big (sometimes they are)... this one is an exact, if not just barely, an XL.The L I bought for my brother was too tight around the stomach... he's a little hefty there, so I exchanged for the XL He thought I had bought him the XL long.If this vest is going to be so popular, you might want to make one shorter/fatter and one for the thinner/taller guys. Maybe you already have.Need a ladies' version and I'm petite and don't want it too long! How about gray? May 31, 2013
Great Vest This is by far the most functional vest I have ever owned. I wore it to travel to South America: it has many pockets for storage, provided sun and light rain protection, and was just warm enough for the over AC'd plane ride. It seems to run just slightly large, a good thing, it can be layered. It is well constructed, and can be adjusted at the waist for a better fit. May 7, 2013
Not as good as past models While I thought I was getting another vest as I bought before, this one was very small for its size and lacked the back pocket and zippered inside pockets of my last vest purchase. Seems they have left these features out of the "newer" model...too bad...I had to return it. February 17, 2013

Right Idea, Needs Refinement Basically a good concept that needs to be refined to become a great vest. The basic idea is a vest with pleanty of poclets to keep stuff handy when out and about. Various issues are listed below.1. The inside of the pockets are made from lightweight mesh which is not durable enough. Pockets should be made from tougher matrial.2. The vest is too long. The lower pockets of hip length vest tend to annoyingly dangle around the hips when the pockets are loaded. The vest length should be about 4-6" shorter.3. Too many ragged seams exposed on the inside. Inside seams should be finished more neatly.4. The snaps are a clunky feature that should be eliminated.5. The zipper needs to be two-way.6. The draw-cord should be moved to waist level. June 29, 2012
Functional warmer weather vest The vest is comfortable and light enough to wear during cooler summer weather. Has an assortment of pockets providing a decent amount of storage. I have been using it as a hiking and fishing vest to carry light tackle into more remote locations. Fit was accurate I have 41" chest ordered large and fit fine. Fabric dries quickly have worn in light rain. June 29, 2012
Columbia Silver Ridge Vest Before ordering, I read the reviews on the Silver Ridge Vest. One review indicated the vest received was not generous/loose fitting.I am 180# - 6'1" with longer trunk. I usually buy tall sizes: Large TallKnowing the vest was not generous, I opted for XL Size & more length. The XL size was OK for me. I can reduce hip size via draw cord. The Columbia name tag on the vest is light, silver threaded Columbia name is hard to recognize. I suggest light tag have dark letters to better advertise your product.Botton Line: A very nice vest and I am pleased with it. June 19, 2012
Nice vest with alot of pockets With an extra two, zippered pockets added in front, this is an improvement over last year's model, in fact, addressing the only problem I had with last year's model. There are now 7 pockets in front-4 zippered, 2 hand and a hook & loop. Being 6'3", I was concerned vest didn't come in tall size. However, the XL fits great, not too short. $70 is a little steep, but after googling, I bought two more of these vests from another website for $52.50 apiece. Plan to wear this vest to an amusement park instead of wearing my usual fanny pack, because as the World's Most Interesting Man says, "You lost me at the word 'fanny'." June 8, 2012
Lightweight and loaded with pockets I was looking for a lightweight vest for warm-weather walking that had pockets for my i-pod, etc. This fits the bill. It's good-looking, comfortable, and full of pockets of various sizes. I had to purchase a mens vest because it's not offered in womens sizes. June 1, 2012

Product is exactly as described I received the vest and it fit perfectly. It is very comfortable and very stylish. Seems like I have worn it just about everyday since I received it. My girl friend says I should order another one while they are available as she knows I will get the use out of them.Great product and I would recommend it to anyone that wants a vest to also keep them warm when it is a bit cool outside. very nice Another bullseye fron Columbia. Pricey, but worth it. This vest is exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight, yet very durable. Great in the wind with the zip up collar turning the sylish look of the lighter colored colar into a turtle neck. The 3 zippered pockets in the front are perfect for holding stuff. The fit is snug, I could stand to drop a few lb's, but not too snug... holds body heat well. A definite 5 star vest! March 18, 2012
Best functionality After scouring the Internet and trying many vests for traveling light, this is the best value out there. Holds iPod, Cell, Passport, Airline tix. I only wish the inside pocket would contain a zipper for 1 add'l layer of security. March 17, 2012
