Men's Watertight™ II Jacket is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 129.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous light wt rain jacket I purchased the the Men's Watertight II Jacket about 6 weeks ago and have had numerous occasions to use it since. This light weight jacket easily stores in a pocket to make it very transportable while the breathable Omni tech material keeps you dry and comfortable when in use. Super nice 3 season rain jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It I bought this jacket for my boyfriend and he loves it. The sleeves are a little bit long, but that is preferable to too short. It has held up well so far, and it looks very nice. I would recommend this product to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket We bought several of these jackets as a present to employee's (we had our logo embroidered on) All loved the light weight jackets and they fit awesome. I would definitely recommend and will be buying more in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good light weight jacket Does what it is designed too. A little concerned about the zipper? It seems cheap?
Date published: 2017-04-06
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected The jacket runs small. I have an XL but it feels like a medium. After a couple of wears it's not water resistant anymore. What's the purpose of wearing it if you still get wet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waterproof-Breathable? I have been looking for a waterproof breathable jacket for some time. Thought Columbia would have a good product. I have used this Omni-Tech jacket for over a year. It is definitely not breathable for the lightest of activity. Don't know if it is waterproof as I am always so wet after taking it off. It's like walking in a plastic bag. Would definitely not recommend it for it's labelled functions. Still looking for a good functional jacket and won't be spending time at Columbia sportswear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fishing Used this coat to go fishing in the rain and stayed completely dry
Date published: 2017-03-27
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not an improvement I have had a similar Columbia jacket for about 10 years. The new one is simply not as good. The size runs about 2 x smaller than my old Medium. the new one uses velcro across the zipper which is way harder to use than the snaps used previously. The hood does not appear to be lined. The Large still has high tight armholes so I don't know if I can wear it over a sweater. Now that I write this I am not sure why I am keeping it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rainy day Jacket is ok, nothing really out of the ordinary. It's packable, works on a light rainy day , still feels as if not enough ventilation as it's suppose to feel. You feel a little sticky when wearing in the heavy rain. Size is not right, I wear size large in other rain jackets and this jacket is too long way to wide and the hoody if not tighten up correctly covers your eyes completely. But for our all around rainy days it will do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it! Perfect in rainy days !
Date published: 2017-02-11
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not packable It works great in the rain etc but a huge purchase point for me was that it claimed to be packable. It's not. All of the videos show a pocket on the inside of the jacket to pack it. There's nothing there. It appears the older jackets have it but not the newer ones. Returned to the store when I discovered this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Absolutely great product. Thin yet protective. Would def. recommend.
Date published: 2017-02-01
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Size runs smaller than it should The quality of this jacket is very good like all the Columbia coats, but it runs smaller than average for the regular large size and I had to exchange it for a large tall version in a similar jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! I bought this jacket for my son-in-law who is an assistant principal. Now when he has bus duty he can be seen because of the beautiful super blue color, and can keep dry! He loves it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent light weight rainwear This light weight jacket definitely will keep you dry when it rains. I wish it had one inside pocket with a zipper closure for security. Other than that, I would recommend this jacket for its protection from the rain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable Rain coat Works great for warmer weather on that rainy day. Not intended for warmth but ideal to stay dry. Excellent option for young men, students for school or coverage on your way to work. Fits my grandson , 6'4" at 140 lbs. Recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Short lived happiness Bought it with the hopes that it'll do what it is supposed to do and keep at it. The first few months were amazing! Since I'm planning on going on a 3 week trek in high altitude where it can get very windy and wet quickly I need something that performs well. At first it delivered well beyond expectations - high winds were no problem and neither was rain. I was warm and dry for months. Now after a bit less than 9 months of use(no tears) it looks the same but has no wind or water proofness left. Had a jacket for over 5 years from a different company which delivered the same for half the price and endured all seasons and many washes without issues. Pocket zippers get stuck very easily too. This jacket is good for someone who goes out in the rain rarely. Not durable enough for an outdoor enthusiast.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice fit, does it's job in heavy rain. Second coat of this brand and style purchased for a young man. First jacket was an outstanding article of clothing, therefore the decision to purchase this second jacket was a no brainer. It is working out as well as the first one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from waterproof/breathable HOPEFULLY I HAVE FOUND WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR.. I HAVE NOT TESTED IT IN THE RAIN WHEN THE WEATHER HAS BEEN WARM TO SEE HOW DRY IT WILL KEEP ME (NOT FROM RAIN, BUT BEING BREATHABLE FROM THE INSIDE ). IT SEEMS TO BE SIMILAR TO ANOTHER BRAND THAT WORKED FOR ME UNTIL THEY STOPPED MAKING THEM..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket This is excellent product. Performs very well and as expected. Washes well. I have received many great compliments on how these jackets look, and I can comment on performance in one word-excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement jacket Previously purchased a Pacific Trail waterproof, breathable rain jacket for use at work and while skiing. Served me well for many (?) yrs. Last year while skiing in the rain it "gave up the ghost" and I was wet to the bone. Bought Columbia's Watertight II as a replacement. Used it last week in an all-day rain. Beads of moisture on the surface but nothing but dry inside. Now can only hope to get as many years of performance from this jacket as I got from the last one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rain jacket Looks sharp, true to size, and keeps you dry. A good value at this price. My only suggestion is that they add an inside pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket Nice light weight and I had to put it to use the day after I got it; kept me dry in the rain. Received complements from my co workers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just in time for rainy season! This jacket has a distinctive great quality, very practical for hurricane season in South Florida. It provides the adequate protection for rain and sun. The waterproof technology is fantastic and does the job!! I can wear it when it is raining or when it is sunny outside, thanks to the Omni-Tech breathable technology. Overall, great product. Looking forward to get my hands in a Titanium!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great seam sealed jacket This jacket does a amazing job at keeping water off the body. Ive never had any leakage and the hood does a great job of draining the water off out in front of you. Also does a great job at keeping wind off of you. My only complaint is with a seam sealed jacket like this if it is warm outside but raining you will get hot if doing any physical activity

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a waterproof jacket that feels warm and dry All the waterproof jackets I've had until now had no liner so with my skin against the rubbery interior I always felt both wet (even though I wasn't) and cold. Not with this jacket
Date published: 2016-10-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fit, waterproof This has to be my first ever rain jacket. As expected it is lightweight, gives good wind protection and is roomy enough to wear over a fleece. I tried it on top of my lightweight medium Columbia fleece. I am 5'9" 165lbs, average build. I wish they included a strap to roll up the hoodie out of the way. I have not work it in a heavy downpour yet. The hoodie does close around your face well. Being packable makes it portable. I would definitely recommend it to users especially at the 60$ price point I got mine at. It should work well during hiking in rain, but do not expect it to keep you warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jacket I was on a lake fishing last weekend and the wind and rain came up. I had others complaining how cold the wind was ... OTHERS! Not I was warmed and Cozy and the super lightweight Jacket was the perfect outfit for that day. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket for the weather I have worn this jacket for over 10 years anytime the weather is between 60 degrees and 10 degrees. When it's cold I add a sweater under it. I ride my bike to and from work, so I own the orange jacket to be visible. I ride in rain, snow and wind, and the jacket is truly waterproof. It is comfortable, easy to layer with, and does its job well, and for a very reasonable price. My college age kids wouldn't recognize me in any other jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket!! Received my order in a very timely manner. Jacket itself is lightweight and breaths well. Truly holds water out well and even beads up in the outside and just falls off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and Well Built for the Price I purchased a a jacket in the Rocket color. I have used it as a shell layer for wind and rain cover on many hikes and tours. PROS: - Waterproof Material: When it pours, water does not slowly seep through the material. It is truly waterproof. - Light Weight: Easy to pack, can tuck it all into its own pocket or hood, light build. - Sturdy: I have purchased raincoats in the past that have had their linings dry out and break up after a year. This jacket does not do that. Very sturdy build. - Good Hood: The hood design with the small brim is very effective. In very hard rain you have to keep your head down to keep everything out, but in general it is great. CONS: - Zipper Flap: This jacket features a Velcro zipper flap and normal zipper, as opposed to a waterproof zipper. I only had it leak in very serious rain storms, when I wasn't being careful enough about keeping it sealed. I have never had a problem with it in light or normal rain though. - Can Be Hot: As a function of being a water tight jacket, it does not breath well. I would say it does as well as it can at being light weight and not too hot on a rainy summers day, but I tend to find myself sweating when I have my heart rate up and I am wearing it. COMMENTS: As a head up I am very careful washing my jackets, and that may be why mine has lasted a long time. For the price and the color selection, this Jacket is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works I got this jacket when I moved to Portland just to throw in the bottom of my everyday pack for those PNW rain showers. It works great. Keeps me dry. Doesn't stick to your back, fairly breathable. I wish it packed down a little tighter, but it stuffs into its own pocket just fine. It's a little warm for the summer months. But great for chilly spring rain. Draw strings on the waist and hood + zipper pockets make this jacket great when bicycling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product I am working as a mauntain guide in New Mexico, and during an exceptionally bad hail storm I was made aware of the fact that my previous rain gear (which was not Columbia) was not actually water proof, so I saw this and bought it. I have been using it frequently over the past week and it has been effective and comfortable in everything from light rain to hail storms. I am very happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain Gear Essential Excellent weight for rain protection. Quality product for the price. Highly recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True to size. Great jacket, I like the fit and I love the comfort. Keeps me dry without the stifling heat. Only thing I would change would be the velcro. When walking or moving arms, velcro near wrists can snag on velcro near main zipper. Minorly bothersome.
