Great all-purpose fleece jacket I have several of these jackets in my wardrobe. They layer well under rain shells for colder weather, and are a nice mid-weight jacket over a tee shirt if there is a chill in the air. My only complaint is that I hate that Columbia changed to putting white lining in the pockets. The ones I purchased last year had color matched pockets which give the jacket a much nicer look when the pockets are unzipped. The white linings to me look cheap and detract from the nice styling of the jacket. Please go back to using color-matched pocket linings. May 19, 2013
Great color and fit. Bought this for a trip to France but will continue to wear spring and fall at home in the northeast. Was comfortable and warm for chilly days and nights, but lightweight and not bulky. I am 5' 9" and a size 8 - the medium fit was perfect. Clematis blue is a vibrant rich purplish (but not too purple) blue. May 14, 2013
Love this jacket This is an excellent jacket to wear during Fall and Spring. The fleece doesn't pill like the previous year's jackets have done. I own multiple Columbia jackets, but this one has become a fave with me because of the color, palm, which is a brilliant shade of lime green. It's true that the white pocket lining shows when you have the jacket unzipped, but that doesn't bother me. I feel the quality overall is great. Only downside was paying $50 for this jacket only to find it came with a tag saying the jacket was $45. Dunno what's up with that?? April 26, 2013

just bought another one This jacket is my go-to item. The fit is not too tight, the fleece a bit stretchy and comfortable, and the weight perfect for most spring and fall conditions here. And Columbia keeps updating with great saturated colors. My only complaint is that the interior pocket fabric is cheap and doesn't always match the color of the garment, which isn't a big deal unless you wear it unzipped. April 13, 2013
Really love this jacket! I now have three of these jackets. They are very well made and do not pill under the arms like many other brands. It is warm, but not too heavy that it can be worn under a coat when it is very cold. My one complaint is the grey pockets. They make the jacket look sloppy when it is unzipped and you can see this fabric in the pockets. The pockets should be the color of the jacket. For this reason I would not give the jacket 5 stars. Satisfied I was pleased to find that the "white pocket" lining issue mentioned in other reviews was not an issue for me. Rather it is a dark grey, not too far from black. I got the Intense Violet color, which I am happy with, though it is a bit more pink than what my idea is of Violet. The materials are soft and warm, and the fit is pleasing. The body is a bit longer than I had anticipated, but not by much. I do have to admit though, I wasn't expecting the pocket lining to be visible from the inside of my fleece. It makes me want to never wear it unzipped, or else the dark grey shows. Also the inside with the pocket area just looks rough and unpleasing.Soft and warm though, and very nice when zipped. Super cozy The color is not easy to wear (I could use a tan with it on!) but this fleece is great quality, and the jacket is really comfy. Nice height of the collar keeps your neck warm but doesn't get in the way either. Handy zip pockets are great and keep things in place. Love this jacket! I love the fit of this jacket. I'm 5 ft. 11 in. and the sleeves and body are long enough for me! The seaming in the back makes for a flattering and not boxy fit. I bought the jacket just for everyday wear during the winter and spring here in Texas, and the warmth is perfect! Not too heavy or too light. I also like the deep front pockets and interior pockets. When I go to the gym I can put my iphone inside while I ride the bike. I'm 58 and not planning on hiking up a mountain or training for a marathon...just wanted a jacket without a hood that looks and feels great. This one does. February 24, 2013

White Pocket Lining I should have known better than to buy this fleece based on other reviews where people mentioned the white pocket linings. However, I thought to myself, "it won't be that big of a deal if I get iceberg blue, since it's such a light color." I was wrong. It looks awful. I like to keep my pockets unzipped so I can put my hands in there to warm up. But it just looks like I have tissues coming out of my pockets. Sending it back and getting a different one. My Third Columbia fleece jacket Yes, I LOVE Columbia fleece jackets...always provide exceptional warmth and they wash like a breeze. I gave this jacket 4 stars as I'm not a fan of the white lining showing when the pockets are left unzipped...looks like underwear sorta.Also, white not a good color for pocket linings anyway.(my other 2 jackets have matching fabric for lining) Sleeves are usually a little long but I prefer that anyway over short sleeves. So many colors to choose from...who doesn't love that? February 5, 2013
Gorgeous Color I bought the jacket in the color "Iceberg." I love the color. The jacket runs a little smaller than the Benton Springs jackets that I've bought before. After reading the reviews I decided to buy a medium rather than a small like I usually do when I buy a Benton Springs jacket (I'm 5' 7" and weigh 135 lbs.). The sleeves are a little long but not by much. I like the stand-up collar rather than the hood. It makes it easier to wear under a coat when it's really cold. The fleece is lightweight but very warm. Nice jacket; palm color is lighter I'm happy with this jacket. A lot of jackets now have a boxy fit but this one fits nicely on a slim person. The collar is high enough to give good coverage when I zip it all the way up. The sleeves are long enough - almost a miracle for me! I gave it 4 stars instead of five for two reasons. I got the palm color and it's quite a bit lighter than the picture. And a small complaint: I wish they had lined the pockets with the same color as the jacket instead of white. It doesn't look very attractive when the pockets are unzipped. January 21, 2013

A Classic! Love it. It's my third one -- this one is very pretty in the iceberg blue color. Same good fit and function. Perfect on it's own for a cool day or as a middle layer on a colder day. I've worn the others as a middle layer for skiing. On cold days I sometimes put this jacket on first thing in the morning and literally wear it all day inside and out. one thing i didn't like This is a beautiful jacket & fits true to size chart, BUT the pocket linings are white thin fabric & when the pocket is left unzipped, as mine usually are, the white shows. I would rather it was of like color or the same fleece. Disappointing. January 8, 2013

Best fleece I've come across! This is by far the best fleece I've ever owned! I was skeptical when my mother kept talking about how light her fleece was AND that it was warm. I owned my share of unflattering bulky fleece jackets that I couldn't even wear outside without a coat because the air just went right through them. I borrowed mom's fleece for a late night walk and was expecting to freeze, but I was pleasantly surprised at how the tightly wooven material kept me warm! And thanks to the thinner quality, I didn't feel like a space ship preparing to land. The zippered arm pocket is a added bonus; It's great for us clumsy people that don't want to unzip our fleece everytime to take out something stored in the inner pockets for safety! I now own three of these myself, with room now in my closet to expand, and my mom keeps telling me to get her another one whenever I am shopping for her! January 5, 2013

Perfect jacket We heat our home with a wood stove so I always need an extra layer until things warm up. I originally bought this jacket in black and love it but found the kittens snuggling with me left their fur all over it. So I went back to get a gray one to match their fur. It 's a perfect solution. Very Cozy I bought these for my wife as a 'just because' gift and it's become her everyday outerwear. She brings it hiking in the mild, crisp trails in San Diego, the grocery store, and when going for a quick jog. Runs a size too small? I liked the jacket itself a lot, but as I am tall (5'11"), the sleeves were too short and the shoulder area across the back was too narrow. I got a Medium and it fit perfectly in length and in the torso area (nice and fitted), but it was too small in those other areas. So I am returning it and have ordered a Large, even though it'll probably be too big in the torso area.I only gave the jacket a 4/5 on quality because I feel like the fleece is somewhat thin. However, maybe it's really good quality fleece so it'll still be warm! I'll see when I try it out.Overall, I like the jacket. It seems to be a good cut and will serve me well in the colder months. How to measure
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
