Insect Blocker Sporty™ 1/2 Zip 4.7 5 7 7
Insect Blocker Sporty Wins Me Over Although it was sized a bit small and I had to exchange it for an extra large, it is a very comfortable and light quarterzip shirt.I am somewhat of a collector of these shirts for outdoor use and exercise and do like this one a lot. Great color combo also.Good job Columbia.....just be clear to state that this shirt is smaller than the usual sizes. September 3, 2012
Athletic feel and fit for the outdoors This athletic shirt performs as Columbia designed it. I wore it on the same trail in a biological preserve I had walked the day before, and the result was that bugs hardly pestered me. August 18, 2012
Product too small Bad fit I returned first one which was a large and reordered an XL which is very tight. August 15, 2012
Bug off! First purchase of new bug protection fabric. I like the style and the fit although it is a bit snug around the middle - or maybe I'm a bit round in the middle. Either way, I hoped to wear this over a t-shirt but it is too snug for that so I haven't worn it enough to comment on the actual bug protection ability. June 20, 2012
Purpose of Insect Blocker Sporty 1/2 Zip I bought this shirt for the sunscreen protection primarily but also for the insect repellent feature. I actually now have five of these shirts and they work great for sunscreen protection on my neck and on the backs of my hands. the white and blue run very true to size, the gray runs slightly small.I think this is one of the best products Columbia has come out with for sunscreen protection when a person lives in a warm climate like Florida. Love it so far I bought this in anticipation of a trip to Alaska in Septebmer. I love the garment, but the weather has been too cold to test the insect repellancy. April 24, 2012
Bug off I hate bugs and this shirt actually kept them off. The bugs weren't too rampant so I'm not sure if it will work when they are thick, but it seems promising. I'm looking forward to putting this shirt to the test over the summer when creek fishing and building duck hunting blinds. March 29, 2012
