Excellent sun protection without overheating I was looking for cool, sun protection while fishing and playing softball. I’ve tried this, another Columbia Omni-Freeze shirt (UPF 50, loose fit), and another manufacturer's (UPF 30+, snug but not compression fit). All three do an excellent job of sun protection and are cooler than any cotton fiber or my usual fishing shirts. But don’t expect to feel like you’re wearing something that provides air conditioning (unless you dunk it in the bottom of the ice cooler and put it back on). I’ve been using them for over a year. I can’t notice any significant cooling advantage to the Airgill design. My net is pick based on style/fit/price. Add a neck/head wrap and sun-protection fingerless gloves and you can dispense with most of your messy sun screen. I'd give this 5 stars if it was a little more affordable. May 17, 2012

Airgill Knit Shirt a Revolution in Fishing Garments Bought one of these a few weeks ago while in Florida. It fits just loose enough that air can move through it freely and the Omni-Freeze works like advertised. I was a bit sceptical about the hype, but I stayed cool and comfortable in this shirt all day! It resisted stains and dirt and I will definitly be buying more of these! April 27, 2012

Airgill shirts I love this shirt. I fish a lot in the Carbbean and this is the shirt for me.I wish there were more color selections and short sleeve selection available. Even a tee-shirt with the airgills would be on my list. March 21, 2012

How to measure

Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
