Men's Peak to Road™ Pant 3.9 5 59 59
Great Pants This is the second pair of these I have purchased. The others are a different color. They fit perfectly. I was really happy to be able to actually order my size (35). So many companies only do even sizes. Quality is excellent and they are very warm in the winter, but still cool in the summer. November 20, 2014
Great Pants Worn these for years and always good quality, price and fit. Versatel pants for casual social to hiking and fishing. September 24, 2014
Do Not Place in Dryer The label said, "when needed, tumble dry low". I placed these trousers in the dryer on delicate for 6 minutes. I pulled them immediately when dryer cycle had finished. Too late. The length shrunk at least an inch. 6 minutes! If you do not want shrinkage then give yourself 3 days for them to "air dry". September 19, 2014
Great alternative to jeans I got these for my husband in the Tundra color, which I would describe as a deep grayish brown. They are very comfortable for him and, I think, stylish. They would be more stylish if they were a little narrower in the leg; they are very roomy through the leg. My husband is glad to have these because they're good enough to wear to church (he won't wear jeans there), but they're casual and comfortable enough to wear the rest of Sunday. There is a little cargo pocket on the side just above one of the knees, which makes these a little too casual for the office, in my opinion. March 25, 2014
An excellent rugged pant I own several pairs of this pant (in various colors). My job requires me to be outdoors in hiking and trekking situations much of the year. This pant holds up very well in various weather conditions. I tend to like a more rugged pant, even in warm climates, and this pant does exceptionally well even in 100+ degree dry and humid climates. It travels very well, and holds up under heavy use. The pant is comfortable and fits true to size. I tend to prefer pants that have some room in the leg for comfort when hiking, and these are perfect. I highly recommend this pant. March 17, 2014
Great pant I ordered a Tundra color. It is close to a navy but not as dark. The fabric is light but it seems to be a good quality. Very comfortable to wear. I wear them all the time when I am outdoors; I also wear them in my office on Fridays. I have discovered this pant three years and this is my third pair. I like to have couple different colors. Once I purchased it from Amazon but the product did not look authentic so I returned it and ordered directly from Columbia. February 21, 2014
Best travel pants This is the 3rd time I have purchased Peak to Road style pants from Columbia. This time they have been upgraded so the waist fastens with a firm button (not just a snap like the old ones). I love the zippered pocket for security while on the road. February 9, 2014
Run very small The waste and length on these pants easily run a size and a half smaller than the 36x32 I ordered. I am 6'2, 190 lbs and actually wear a 34 or 35 but I like a loose fit but these pants barely fit...length is REALLY short. I mistakenly washed them before trying on so I couldn't return. February 2, 2014
ROC 2 Awesome pant. Very comfortable, great quality and function. January 25, 2014
Wish the Peak to Road had a snap not a button The peak to road pants are almost identical to the ROC pants that I loved. The only difference that I can tell is that there is a button instead of a snap on the waist band of the peak to road model. I really liked the snap and miss it. I'm a guy with a bit of a gut and when sitting for a long time I could loosen my belt and easily pop the snap open for added comfort in the ROC pants. I'd love to see the snap on future versions of these pants January 20, 2014
Sized wierd I would have kept these pants except they are made for someone with 36 inch waist, but their crotch is next to thier belly button and they have bean pole legs. January 18, 2014
Good pants Love these pants. Comfortable fit and stylish. Does well in the winter. Bought a size bigger just to make sure. They appear to be true to size as far as I can tell. Good deal. January 17, 2014
great product...with one exception The pants are great..... I have worn them for years, but it seems recentlyt he fit is not consistent....Each pair may or may not fit. Those that do fit are great....I guess I need to order several pairs and keep the ones that work out...and return the rest.. January 13, 2014
Change is structure I have used this pant for the last 5 years. I have bought over 10 pairs of this style. The last 5 pair I received were constructed totally different from pants in the past. The fly was shorter thus making the rise shorter. The pockets were not cut the same and the legs were narrower that pants before. I can only think they changed factories and now I am not a devoted fan of this pant. December 30, 2013
comfy These are comfortable enough to wear all day at work and look great. December 10, 2013
Perfect Portland Pants I bought these pants for my husband, and we BOTH love them! They transition beautifully from bike commute to work, can be dressed up or down, and have just the right number of functional pockets. The zip pocket on the side is great for keys, debit cards or anything you really don't want to lose, and the thigh pocket on the right side is great for keeping track of your cell phone. The quality of the material and construction is hard to even find these days, much less in a stylish, affordable pair of pants. Good job! December 6, 2013
Fine except for waist size The pants are what I was hoping for but the waist size is more than any of my other pants. They need altering. December 5, 2013
Great quality but fit is tight The quality of this product is great, like all the Columbia gear I've seen. I find the thigh area is a little bit tight when stretching (climbing stairs) and it is a little tight when sitting down. Works fine for standing around or walking on even ground, but the cut is slightly different on the Ultimate ROC™ Pant and I find that pant is just a little more flexible and works better in the office and out in the field. November 23, 2013
...just so-so I've been wearing the same ROC and Peak pants for years, and this is the first time I've been somewhat disappointed. The waist is at least an inch too big, and the flax color is WAY too light... much more light-khaki than flax! Getting rid of the snap (that wouldn't stay snapped) is good, but the button may be worse. Waist banding cheapened, and the belt loops are intended for 3"-wide belts. ...at least the length was dead-on. November 4, 2013
Good pant, but odd sizing As far as the pant itself goes, it's great. Very versatile - looks great in the office, but functions well and holds up in the field. These are more of your office/casual pants though, not the first pant I'd choose for field work. The chief issue though is that it's not really standard sizing. It's just a little small in the waist/hips, but VERY small in the thighs. The length is also longer than expected. So when ordering, order a little larger in the waist, but a little smaller in the length. November 3, 2013
Buyer Beware - 34 Waist Oversized I wear 34" waist pants and have for many years. Some run a little large, some a little small. These pants run 2+ inches large (as confirmed in several different pairs). I tried a 32 (too small) and a 33 is snug. Both run true-to-size but the 34" is WAY too big. Also, they DO NOT SHRINK and Columbia accepts no returns/exchanges if you tried washing them thinking that they might shrink. Also worth noting - all of them are oversized in the inseam/length as well but nothing outrageous like the 34" waist October 28, 2013
Big Girl Wears Mens Pants I am a heavier girl and I love these pants, they fit pretty well on me. The waist is usually wider but that is expected for mens pants (a belt fixes that). Columbia doesn't have larger sizes for women so these do the trick for me. October 1, 2013
Good quality, did'nt like some features tight crotch and shallow pockets were the features I did not like about these pants. September 8, 2013
Good Pants but too white Pants fit very well and are both durable and comfortable. However, I was a bit surprised to find that they are almost white in color. If I'd have known how light in color they are, I'd have chosen another Columbia khaki as they get dirty quickly. September 7, 2013
Waist sizes are way off I am a consistent 32" waist when I buy pants whether they are jeans or dress slacks. The peak road pants I received, though marked 32" for the waist measurement, truly seamed to be the equivalent to a 34" and literally slid right off my hips to the floor. These pants are of good quality, but apparently run very large. August 24, 2013
tight fit These pants are a slim fit and were very tight around the butt and hips. When I purchased them on-line, they were not advertised as "slim fit". It was written on the pants label. Otherwise I would not have purchased them. Also, the material is less substantial than the old rock pants I purchased 5 years ago. And lastly, the zipper rise is short. They are not as comfortable as the old style when you sit down. Go back to the old style! August 1, 2013
GREAT PANTS!!!!!! I bought these pants 15 years ago and can't wear them out. I was so concerned in this world of obsolete everything that when I went searching for three new pair that Columbia didn't make them anymore. I was wrong, thanks for continuing a great pair of pants. Just wore them in the Lauterbruenen Valley, Swiiss Alps, up to Obersteinberg and beyound, 7,200 feet. and they still stand the test. July 29, 2013
am8142 replacement this is a very poor replacement of your product # am8142. the pant was at least two sizes larger in the waist than what i ordered, the fabric is much thiner and looked cheap. your am8142 was a good pant. I will not be buying anymore Columbia pants July 22, 2013
Good Pants for work Good pants for my office job. They do run a size or two large. July 15, 2013
this product runs small and is good for daily wear I would not wear this pant for outdoor excursions because it runs small. However, This fits so much better then any pair of levi's I have and they have been retired to good will. I'm buying a couple more pairs to replace my jeans. June 30, 2013
Love these pants When you find that pair of pants you love that are comfortable for both work and play ---- I stock up and be sure I have extras - so I am not without when a pair needs to be washed. I love the extra zip pocket for change or whatever--- the one area I think there could be some improvement --- is I notice that the knee area wears out - over time-- but the rest of the pants are fine. If the design was such that the knee section could have a patch like material layered on top or a reinforced knee fabric that would solve the problem. I prefer these casual pants to jeans as more comfortable, great looking and double for casual office or for at home. One last thing - I prefer the snap button at the waist rather than the button hole - be sure when you order the snap is mentioned - the snap are easier to undo - its a small thing - but that little design makes them faster to take off or put on. June 28, 2013
Nice Pants Run pretty big around the waist. May 8, 2013
small favor - my money back please Very very disappointed. Understand please I have at a minimum 4 other pair of Columbia pant. Bought them about 3 years ago. The sizing on these is way off. What is sold as 38waist is really 40, worse still the construction with no seem in the rear waistband prohibits alteration - way too large. The "security pocket" is lame. The other Columbia pants I own have a security pocket on the side seam below the side pocket. Please accept a return and issue a credit. Yes I did wash them hoping to shrink the waist - no go. April 8, 2013
Light weight, a little tight in the butt Quality construction. The waist and length run true, a little tight in the butt. need a little more room for the manhood. March 12, 2013
Great Pants Love these pants. Though I want to know what happened to the little key pocket inside the right, front pocket. March 6, 2013
Pull cord on zipper pocket came off on initial washing The waist size is closer to 31; the length is fine. The material is good, as is the color. February 22, 2013
love these pants very comfortable light weight material, but not the kind that gets wrinkly. High quality pockets and hidden velcro pockets in back which are great (no button to sit on). the the alpine tundra is a nice greenish/gray which goes well with my black button down shirts. good for casual work and play. getting 3 more today! February 14, 2013
superb quality fantastic quality and a full fit. ideal weekend gear and for hiking. the color chart on the columbia website does not show the colors as clearly. a must recommendation for the prospective hiker. February 11, 2013
Poor fit & fabric I'm trying to replace two pairs of Columbia trou that I have worn out. The two replacements you sent were both at least 2 inches wide around the waist. The fabric was nowhere near the quality of my existing pair. I will never order online with Columbia again. February 9, 2013
New Fav Pants I purchased these pants for my Dad and also a pair from another outdoor retailer...he had me return the other pair not from Columbia and order a different color in these same pants. They are his new favorite go-to pants. February 8, 2013
Highly recommend These are great pants. Very well made, comfortable, and they look good. I travel a lot and the extra pockets are very useful. February 2, 2013
where are the lander pants? wanted the lander pants - these not as good. a little tight in the seat. material not as thick as the lander pants. e mail me when lander pants are available. February 1, 2013
Not Happy I have been an avid wearer of Columbia apparel for years. So, when I need new pants I place an order. Received my pants and they look great; however after one washing they shrank to the point that I cannot wear them. I am very disappointed with these pants. I assume that since I have washed them I cannot return them. So, now I am stuck with two new pairs of pants I cannot wear. Next time I will have to consider another purchase options. January 31, 2013
True To Size The "Peak to Road" model seems, at last, to be one Columbia model that actually is cut to size per their sizing charts. I'd like to see more 34" to 35" stretch sizes available, for my slim legs and ever-so-slightly growing mid-section...one of the facts of life as we age. 34 is too tight, 36 is usually cut for someone with a larger body from the waist down, and the availability of 35 waist with 34 waist down sizing is really limited. January 21, 2013
Great looking pants, great fit These pants look great and fit perfectly according to the normal waist and inseam that I wear. They are incredibly comfortable and seem to be of good quality so far. I was spending nearly twice as much (which is outrageous) for Prana pants until I found these. These will be my new go-to non-denim pants. January 17, 2013
Wonderful all-round pants These Columbia pants are great for the office or the field. My job has me jumping from a business setting to one where I am in an outside work environment and I can easily wear these in both setting. Love them. January 2, 2013
Great comfort and fit On 12/13/2012 I bought a pair of Columbia ROC II Pant trousers. The fit is great, comfortable and looks super. The one thing I hate is pants is Blue Jeans, because they are too stiff and uncomfortable. These Columbia pants are soft, sturdy and very flexible. They do not pull on my knees and give where they need to give as I move and bend. Finally a good pair of work type pants that actually look good and draw compliments. I'll buy more of these from the Columbia web site. December 29, 2012
Like them Nice pants. Highly recommended. December 25, 2012
Don't Think, Just Buy These Pants!!! Lander Collection is all I ever bought. But Lander is in short supply, tried this collection and it is perfect! Ordered four pair of pants and wish more colors avaiable. Columbia quality, great price point, and I use them for Outdoor and Office functions. Home Run, Slamdunk, Touchdown... pick your sport.
