My only skirt I don't wear skirts or dresses normally. I am an active dog training person who likes to sit with my feet curled under my butt! This skirt however, is one I enjoy wearing. I'm 5'4" and 97 lbs in a boyish frame, so I was tired of having to wear belts or pull my pants up all the time. This skirt will actually hang on my meager hips and not slide down. The fabric is canvassy cotton. You can't do jumping jacks in this skirt, but most regular movements can be made comfortably. There is a little stretch to the fabric, so even reaching on a long stride it is not constricting. Yay! September 9, 2012

How to measure

Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
