Wonderful, Warm Boots! I bought these boots for use in the Colorado mountains and snow. I first wore them for a 3-day outdoor education retreat in snow/slush 6-inches deep. They kept my feet warm, they were comfortable to wear for 8+ hours of rigorous activity each day, and they held their traction in mountain, field, and ropes course terrains. Very grateful for these boots and am confident they will last me several seasons. May 2, 2013
Winter Boots What a deal! After last winter I decided to not waste any time preparing for next winter. I love my Columbia work boots and decided a low temp boot was worth purchasing. These boots are sharp looking and will keep my toes toasty warm in the WV winters. April 26, 2013
Rain Boots I absolutely love my new rain boots. They are waterproof and have a great sole which keeps me from slipping when wading through the water. Also, the warm fleecey lining keep my feet very warm and dry. I was looking for a pair of good rain boots and this product exceeded my expectations. I love the style and the color! Pleasently Surprised I bought these off season for a trip to Montana. Happy seeing the price! The reviews seem varied on which size to order, I am a size nine and that is what I ended up ordering. They fit great. I have very wide calves and the ability to lace and the tongue of the boot is connected still on the sides so it will stay put with the ability to expand for my calf size was great. I ordered it in black color and the fur is just along the edges and it is more cream colored while the laces are grey. Wished the fur was more grey and actually lined the shaft of the boot. Lightweight and Warm! I really love these boots so far. When I put them on, I was a little nervous, because they were so lightweight that I wasn't confident that they'd be enough for Wisconsin winters. But once I tried them out, I was blown away. They're the warmest boots I've ever owned. I even have Raynaud's disease, but these boots are enough to keep even these chilly feet cozy! I walk through the snow unnecessarily just for the novelty of having toasty toes. March 25, 2013
Waterproof A friend bought these boots and said they were very warm. I really cannot coment on them because I havce not had to try them out as of yet.They do run wide. Hoping that a heavy pair of hunting socks will do the trick. They do look like they will keep the water out from the slushy snow. March 24, 2013

Nice boots - very light weight! It has been many years since I had to purchase winter boots and I assumed these would be heavy. They are delightfully light weight and I do not feel all Frankensteinish in them. They come only in full sizes so I ordered up and with socks they fit perfect. Perfect for Wisconsin Weather! These boots have been wonderful at helping me bear the Wisconsin cold! As a college student on a large campus, I needed a pair of boots resistant to cold, slush, snow and ice, and these boots have done well with that, thus far. I normally wear a size 7-7.5, but decided to get a larger size. The 8's fit perfect because I can wear them with a single pair of socks, or I have the option of doubling my socks. These boots are also very light, so they are easy for regular walking. There was no "breaking-in" period. And my feet have yet to be cold or wet! My only complaint is that I worry about how they will hold up in the long run. They are made of good material, however, around the ankle, where the leather meets the fabric, this area has become a bit "slouchy" and has become a bit scrunched. Best boots for everyday! I've been searching for the perfect pair of winter boots for a long time! I tried the Sorel Tofino (cheaply made, no arch support and the boot cut into the back of my ankle ), the Sorel Joan of Arctic (too heavy and very difficult to take off) as well as the Teva Lenawee ( side zipper flawed design cut into side bone of feet). All were a fail but the Heather Canyon fulfilled all of my requirements.First off the boot is very easy to take on and off. I am normally a size 7 or 7 1/2 but I wanted to wear thick wool sock so the size 8 was a perfect fit. The boot itself is well made and is indeed water proof - I trekked in wet snow and shallow puddles all over campus. The tread is also good when I went over hard snow and ice. The boot is very warm which is important because New England winters are harsh. Today it was a chill 30 degrees, not too shabby. It has some arch support - not great but its light weight and flexible and my feet didn't hurt even after wearing it all day so that's a major plus! Overall I can see myself wearing them everyday. It isn't nearly as stylish as some of the other winter boots on the market but it will work with everything in your wardrobe and the sale price makes it an ever better purchase! February 20, 2013
Excellent winter hiking boot I've taken my boots out on snowy and muddy hikes twice and they've fared very well. My feet are always warm, even when walking around in snow at 28 degrees F. They also stayed dry when I accidentally stepped into water. The sole is nice and grippy.The only negative point is that they make my feet look quite a bit bigger than they are, since there's at least half an inch of empty space between the inner boot part and the outer rubber part. This isn't an issue of the boot being too big, I fit the inner part perfectly. February 18, 2013

Awesome boots! I absolutely love this boot! They arrived just in time for a snow storm to hit, so I got to try them out first hand. My feet stayed incredibly warm, and they gripped to the sidewalks very will. I have had a couple different boots before, some from Sorel and The North Face. The Sorel pair were not waterproof, and I slipped all the time in them. The North Face ones were nice, and I rarely slipped, but they weren't that warm, and they were very clunky for a women's boot. These Columbia ones are absolutely perfect. They are stylish enough and not super clunky to wear, all while being very practical. I wore a thin pair of ski socks that I have, definitely thin compared to some wool boot socks I own, and the boots still felt warm. I tried them on with both thick and thin socks and they fit great. The only thing that bugged me at first was where the leather meets the furry part right on the top of the foot. The leather there was very tight and gave me a bruise the first time I wore them, but I stretched them a bit, and now after breaking them in more, they are extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend this boot and cannot wait to experience them more as the winter carries on. January 29, 2013
Wish it would SNOW!!! They were supposed to be shipped very quickly but UPS messed up and sent them to IL instead of IN so I didn't get them until Monday...when the snow was just about all melted. I got to wear them one day, but wore them around the house a few hours a couple other days...yeah, feel sorry for me. :). Anyway, they seem very warm and very comfortable. I ordered them a size larger than I normally wear (normal 7...ordered 8) and very happy I did. I like a snow boot to easily slip on. They will be great with thick socks on a good sledding day. The laces allow me to make them tighter if need be when 'playing' in the snow. Another review I read prior to ordering said they were not water proof enough...they will be plenty water proof for walking in snow and sledding. I'm not planning on trekking through any creeks or rivers. Just wish it would snow so I could wear them and show them off to my co-workers. I had Columbia boots before and will buy them again...hopefully in 10 years or longer...like w my other pair. We don't get to wear snow shoes more than...at most...2 dozen times a year...so they will last a LONG time. January 19, 2013

Heather Canyon snow boot I have used many boots and it's either it doesn't fit correctly and/or it isn't warm enough but This is a great pair of boots and as advertised footwear that fits and very warm to boot, recommended! January 3, 2013

Best winter boots yet! Fits true to size - super cute and not too clunky - and definitely serve their purpose. Some of the other ladies at work were slipping and sliding on patches of ice walking into work, and with these boots - you'd never even know there was anything but solid, dry ground! Hiking in true snow? Don't get these These have been comfortable and great throughout the winter... as long as you're not going outdoors.Any snowshoeing or hiking in some snow? Don't wear these. They are in no way waterproof. Water-resistant MAYBE. But definitely NOT waterproof. How do I know? I just spent thirteen miles in these boots on a trail that was covered in snow half the time in short 20ft bursts. Had I known these were only water resistant I never would have bought them. Now, my feet freaking hurt because I had to hike back out in wet boots.Other than that, they are very warm, fit true to size, and are very lightweight.But for now, these are no-longer the boots for me. Just what I was looking for I needed something functional and warm for work. These kept my feet nice and warm, however at about 10 degree's my toes started to feel a little cold but over all theses boots kept me nice and toasty. The only negative thing I would say is they look kind of cheap. The sole of the shoe and base part, looks like plastic. Not a big deal since I'm going for more function than style. They're not stiff at all which I also liked. Very flexible, theyre a little on the small side. I normally wear a 6.5 but got them in a 7. They're still a tiny bit big, but I think if I had gotten them in a 6.5 they'd be too small. Plus I wear my thick winter socks with these. February 1, 2012
Hmmmm... I ordered these a size larger after reading other reviews and the length turned out perfect, however there was too much room in the toe box making the boot fit funny (even with thick socks). The boots were very light and comfortable and I was going to deal with the extra room, but I noticed a tear in the lining of boot. I really liked the omni heat liner, but it seems like it might not hold up to a winter of pulling the boots on and off... I returned these boots. December 19, 2011
great boot love these boots. they're super comfortable and would wear them as house shoes if I could get away with it. they do run a little small, but I knew this from reading reviews before purchase, so buying 1/2 size larger worked perfect. very cute too. they kept the snow/water out and my feet dry and warm. Wide and run small I went a size up and they fit perfectly (I'm usually a 7 or 7.5, and I ordered an 8). I have narrow feet so these run a bit wide, which is good for wearing thick socks. I I'll probably buy some arch-support inserts since there is extra space and little built-in support. haven't yet had experience in extreme cold, but thus far they have proven to be quite toasty down to the 20's.I do quite a bit of walking, and these are comfortable and warm so far. Disappointed I was so excited to get these boots - but was disappointed as soon as I opened the box. I thought they would be a little taller and I thought they would look at little more "leathery". Plus they were a little too snug in the toe box. I returned them and bought Sorels instead. December 2, 2011

Wish they had half sizes :( I was very excited for my boots. All the reviews I read say the boots run true to size - not so in my case. I wear a size 10 and when I put these on they were extremely tight and pinched my toes. They seemed confortable and warm, but they just didn't fit. I wanted to exchange for a 10 1/2, but they don't offer half sizes, so I'll just have to return them and search for another companies boots. Oh wel :( October 6, 2011
