Rated 4 out of 5 by Another Columbia Coat With a Bad Hood This coat is very stylish and fits close to the body which keeps in the warmth, although i can never be too warm. The hood, once again is useless and does not match the quality of this coat. It is a complete waste and that is too bad since a hood in the wintertime is essential to keeping warm. What will you do about this Columbia? Please fix. January 25, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesomely comfy fashionable and warm! This coat is absolutely wonderful! I love it! The coat is so warm and comfortable. It is definitely waterproof it rained like crazy one day and I stayed completely dry. Love this coat! Definitely recommend! January 25, 2017
Rated 2 out of 5 by The devil is in the details I would give this coat 5 stars if it weren't for two extremely important things: the hood and the Velcro on the flap that covers the zipper. First the hood: it has no fastener!! It's unbelievable!! There is no way cinch down the hood or secure it under your chin-- no ties, drawstring/bungees, buttons or snaps! How this even happened during the design of this product is a mystery. It's a small detail but a huge deal since the hood is effectively worthless if you can't make it fit/stay on your head. Because of this it bags out and if there is a slight wind it blows right off. Second is the Velcro: it snags on EVERYTHING! A number of my sweaters have huge snags in them, not to mention mittens, hats and really anything that Velcro can get caught on. Plus, the Velcro is weak and doesn't stay closed. They really need to replace the Velcro with snaps. Again a small detail with big consequences. Overall the coat is warm (enough) and fits really well. I am keeping it for these reasons and because this is the 7th coat I've ordered and I'm tired of the search. I'm 5'7" and 122 lbs and a small fits perfectly. However, I would not recommend it if you care about function and wear a lot of sweaters or other knits. January 23, 2017
Rated 1 out of 5 by Too big, weird lining This jacket was not what I thought it was going to be at all -first, it was way too big (I'm 5'4" and about 120#) and had a lot of "hips" to it. A winter jacket already puffs out and this one was just shaped so strangely and did not sit right. Also, the inside looks like a spaceship so unless you like metallic silver lining, this jacket may not be for you. I did like the charcoal gray color and it even had a little blue tint that was nice. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great coat For a few years, I have been on the search for a long coat with down that is waterproof. A few years ago, I forwent the waterproof part and got a long down coat from another brand. It's warm and very nice except when it rains or snows or it's very windy. I purchased the Carson Pass II jacket for days when it isn't completely frigid and I absolutely love it! I wanted something similar in a longer and warmer style for really cold days. For reference, I am 5'6" 130 lbs and carry my weight in my hips. I purchased a medium and honestly wouldn't mind if it was slightly bigger. It fits a tad smaller than the Carson Pass II. The fabric seems to be the same on both coats and is a bit swishy but what does one expect with a true waterproof fabric? The Apres Arson hits me just above the knee, is fitted in the chest and is a-line below the waist. Some people have stated that it looks like a bell and as soon as I tried it on, I understood what they meant. That shape makes walking easy, though, and doesn't look goofy at all. The hood is okay; if it was just like the Carson Pass II hood it would be perfect. A couple more pockets on this coat would be great, too, but all in all, I'm very happy with this coat and know that it will serve me well in years to come. My search for a knee length waterproof down coat is over! And I'm glad that I've finally discovered Columbia. I really like the fit (although I wear a size larger than I do in most other coats but I know that now) and quality. January 21, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Winter Jacket This jacket offers style & warmth. The length hits just above the knees but does not feel like it constricts movement. If you have long arms, this coat is a great choice and the arms do not move up past your wrists The built-in comfort cuffs give you that extra security around your gloves, should you need it. The neck of the jacket is very warm, so if you forget a scarf, you would be ok with just the jacket zipped up! Overall, this jacket is WARM! Even with the coldest New England temps this jacket keeps you very toasty' Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to everyone. January 15, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by worth to got it I like this jacket very much 。it is very warm。but there's a question, why it always reduce the pricE after I buy the items??? January 14, 2017
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great coat - does not run smal I read reviews before purchasing this product and so many of them said that it runs small, so I ordered a large when I wear a medium in all other Columbia coats, and it SWALLOWED me. I had to return it and order the medium which should fit like a glove. The coat itself is very good quality and cute, but go off the measurements and your normal sizing! I am 5' 9" and 150 lbs and the large way way too big. January 14, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm and lightweight I bought this for my wife and she loves it. She does not like the cold but this jacket has kept her very warm. Today it got up to 30 degrees and she complained that she was too warm but has been perfect in colder temps. It gets below zero on many occasions. Originally bought a med which is her usual size, but had to send it back and get a large which fits good. December 28, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Does not keep the cold out! I purchased this coat today at Dicks and I was so excited about trying it out for the day. I was so disappointed immediately! I live in Chicagoland area and let me tell you we've had a harsh winter so far, I wanted to find a coat that would take -20 degree weather. I thought this would be the one but it did not keep me warm. The cold penetrated my arms and kinda lingered for a minute or so. I am not sure if it is the breathable material but this is not a -20 degree weather coat. Love love the feminine fit it really does accentuate my figure and I hate to return it but For $300 I want a coat to keep me warm. December 23, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Warm Very Warm, but the material is too hard, not soft enough. Also the hat couldn't cover the head, always fell off. Still consider the price tag, It's a good enough catch. December 22, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Love it, except when its below 30..... I bought this after 5 years of living in Chicago and being frugal about dropping hundreds of dollars on a jacket. After TONS and TONS of research, I bought this one. It fit like a dream. I have an hourglass figure and this one compliments that perfectly so I dont feel bulky. I thought it was warm....I wore it a few days in the 20s 30s, my middle is warm, but the draft coming up my legs is not good at all. My legs and butt were still mega cold, thus making all of me feel pretty darn cold still. If you're someone that wears two pants, then this jacket is probaly all good, but I just cant do the double pant thing, hence why I got the longer jacket, and its really just not as warm overall for a Chicago winter, waiting on train platforms as I thought....really disappointed. I do like this jacket and would recommend it, but just be prepared for the draft up the legs, and to still have to have like 3+ layers for below 20 for an almost $300 jacket.... December 21, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by So NOT worth the money! I do love the flattering fit of this coat, however, under 30 degrees, it is not warm at all! I bought this because of its Omni-heat technology, being waterproof, and the warmth factor. The metallic Omni heat lining may trap some heat but if it is below 30, it traps the cold; the lower part of the coat that does not cling to your body acts like one of those hot/cold food bags. As soon as it gets cold, it travels throughout the coat all the way down your arms. It was 20 degrees the other day and I was freezing! Not only that, but for almost $300 you would think they would have a drawstring for the hood; which is nowhere close to a snorkel hood. It is small (barely covers my head and blows off with the slightest breeze. Also, the pockets are deep but are only big enough for a tissue. If you try to zip it with a pair of gloves in them, it is a chore. I am 5'7" and slim so it is not because of my size that any of these issues occur. The worst part is I bought in the early fall, tried it on, fit great, but when the weather finally got cold enough to wear it, I could not longer return it. So, I am out $300 and stuck with a coat I do not like. December 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Yay! I bought this coat pending a move to North Dakota, so I wanted something pretty heavy duty but still good-looking. Pros: You can't tell from the photo, but it has a semi-reflective interior, which supposedly reflects your body heat back to you. I thought that was a nice touch. I don't know how it all works, but that plus the down filling keeps me pretty warm, and I've worn this out in 15 degree weather with nothing but a long-sleeve shirt under it. I love the hood—it's adjustable, so you can choose how far over your head it goes. It also looks great and keeps my noggin warm. It has a waist strap that you can also adjust, so you can cinch the waist tighter if you want, or even remove it altogether. It has an interior zippered breast pocket to put things in, as well as two pockets on the outside in which you can stuff your hands. The neck area goes high and is fleece on the inside, so you could wear this without a scarf and be fine. Also it says it's waterproof?? Not that I've tested this out, but if so, that's awesome!! Surprisingly, it is machine washable, though I have not tried that yet. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it—people telling me that it looked really sleek and work-appropriate. Cons: Not too much to say here. I do think the armpit and maybe the chest area is just a tad tight, but I guess it also makes you look really good. I got a medium, and I'm 5'6", 145 pounds, kinda busty. It's perfect if I have only a long-sleeved tee under it. I tried it on with a North Face jacket underneath, and I could zip everything up and move around, but it was definitely tight. Then again, it keeps me so warm that I don't feel the need to pile on another layer underneath. I do also think the outside pockets are just a little small and too centered on the jacket. I can fit my hands in them fine (and they are also lined with fleece, which is very nice), but it's kind of a struggle since the zipper opening is shorter/smaller than I'm used to (so I keep the buttons on both ends unbuckled, so that it's easier to slide my hands in). I also feel like I'm a kangaroo holding my hands in my pouch since the pockets are more in the center. BUT, these are really all minor things, and I don't feel like I look weird or anything like that. Just trying to give a complete review :). December 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by In LOVE I bought this coat in Chicago when I was searching for a new winter coat. I am 5'3 and a good 140 lbs. And a medium fits me perfectly. It also shows your figure off well with the adjustable band in the back, you can also leave it unbuttoned. It is so WARM. I've had it since last year, 2015, and it's still perfect. I did try to wash it though and it kind of messed up the puffiness of the coat. I washed it as it said it wasn't able to be dry cleaned. But it's still warm. My only issue is the hood, it isnt as large as it could be, it kind of sits awkward on your head. Otherwise, it's a perfect coat. I love it. December 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Toasty! This was supposed to be a Christmas gift but my fiance let me have it early as Boston's weather this morning was 5 degrees fahrenheit with a wind chill of minus 10. The only part of me that was cold was my face and my knees as the jacket comes just above! Stellar performance on the first day and true temps to warrant this coat. Hood was great with the fur blocking out the wind. Sleeves are perfect and the inner sleeve with the thumbhole does not allow any wind up the sleeves, especially once the gloves were on! Highly recommend December 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this coat! After deciding it was seriously time to invest in a good winter coat, I polled friends & family and Columbia came up the winner. Today is day 2 and I could not be happier (and it's a freezing cold day here in NYC). The Omni-Tech breathable warmth is amazing. Commuting through NYC means lots of going inside and then back outside which, in an inferior coat would mean overheating when inside and being chilly while outside. The coat is super warm when I'm outside and super comfortable when I'm inside. December 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by So Warm! I absolutely love this coat! It is very warm. Living in MN, I needed something for the subzero days of winter. This coat is keeping me warm. December 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warmest coat I've owned I ordered this Columbia jacket online, and it arrived before the original expected date. I am 5'1 and weigh around 105 pounds, and the extra small is the perfect size. I can wear it with just a long sleeved shirt underneath, and it keeps me warm in 20-30 degree weather. The jacket is high quality, and I would definitely recommend this product. The only negative is that I occasionally have a hard time zipping the jacket. December 12, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Needed to exchange I love this coat but needed to exchange it at the Mall of America store. The zipper would go up about 25 percent of the time. I tried a different one at MOA and it zipped up every time. You now have a happy customer. December 10, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Warm, but not functional I've only had it for a week and I've had the chance to test it in rain, wind, and snow. Overall, it keeps me warm (biggest priority), but the pockets and hood aren't up to par. The pockets are terrible - your hands scratch the zippers trying to fit in (and I have tiny hands). They are also in a poor position if you like to keep things in your pockets, like your cell phone because when you sit down they cram into your gut. And if you're expecting to remove the faux fur hood liner, good luck keeping the hood on your head. Note: the India Ink is more like a blue color. December 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE - Does Run very small I am 5'11" and had to buy 2 sizes bigger than I usually do. I was wearing a sweater when trying it on so include this when you are ordering. It is very warm, keeps you dry and I love the color. This is the first coat that I have bought that the arms actually go past my wrist bones. December 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice coat Saw this coat in store in a different color. Then bought it online with the color i want. Warm December 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Winter Coat for Cleveland Area Hiker I am an avid hiker in the Cleveland OH area. We typically tend to get some harsh winter temperatures, a lot of lake effect snow and wind. I get a lot of overall joint pain in the lower temps so I was in need of something that would keep me super toasty but still allowed for mobility and this coat fits the bill. Overall the coat is true to size. I am 5'6, about 135lbs and the small fits very well. The coat is fitted which I love. I work a corporate job and I'm happy wearing it around my companies campus, looks very clean on and not too puffy or bulky. It has been in the high 20's for temps right now and I had to unzip a little on my morning walk with just an Under Armour cold gear layer on. As others have noted, Columbia needs to get it together on color descriptions. I ordered the India Ink color which looked like a darker black than the actual black (looked more like a dark gray) on the website. I also googled "India Ink Color" and black was the first color that came up associated with it so that is what I was expecting. My India Ink coat is actually more blue, maybe a little gray depending on the light. I actually like it a lot, but it was completely not what I was expecting. Had I not liked it as much as I did, I would be very frustrated with having to send it back for another color. December 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jacket This is really a great jacket for cold weather. It keeps you super warm and is very comfortable. I read the reviews and got a large to fit my chest (36DD), I probably could have made a medium work but now I have enough room to wear bulky sweaters under the coat. My only complaint is the hood, the fur gets really wet and matted if you wear it when it's snowing. December 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for petite women that want fashion and function This is not your usual winter coat it's not bulky. It's great for someone who is short and petite. It shows your shape well and it's warm. Fashion plus function it's great. I hope Columbia puts out more products that are fashion and function at the same time. Love love. December 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Product I bought this for my mom. The real product looks as good as in the picture. The sleeves are a bit too long though. November 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Winter Coat Great winter coat, this is my first winter in Chicago and it has done me very well. I'm from Los Angeles, so I needed a hefty coat as I'm not used to the cold, and this did the job. Fit is true to size. I am 5'4 about 135-140 pounds and the medium worked well for me. Still enough room to be able to layer a relatively thick sweater when necessary. I highly commend this coat. April 9, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall Good This is one of the warmest coats I've ever owned for Chicago winters. Two complaints: Nothing to secure hood when wearing it. Wind gets through easily I washed it according to washing/drying instructions and the omni-heat layer smells absolutely awful. March 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Love this coat. would definitely recommend it March 21, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by A coat for the cold I ordered this coat wanting a warm jacket. I am 150 and 5'5" and got a medium and its bulky on me. Small may have been too tight. The red is more like a grey red verse a bright red and the fur is weird on the ends because I feel like it sticks out. I tried the coat without the fur and it looks better with the fur on. Not sure how that fur will hold up in the rain and snow. Just feel like it would be soppy and gross. As for the coat itself it's been too warm out to wear it (high 40's low 50's) so I have not been able to wear it to work. I did try it on around the house and I was warm in it so warm I had to take it off! The negative is I do not like the black fabric hand gloves attached to the coat but I see its function for blocking the wind and making a tight sleeve seal. I feel really silly wearing the coat with that function. Overall I believe it will do its function of keeping warm but I don't love the coat for the style or design. March 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Definitely Buy I love this coat its my 3rd columbia coat, as usual they deliver. Its beautiful and warm,(I bought the flint grey) the first day I wore it, it was 30 degrees with 20 mph winds. I'm very cold natured and I didn't even notice the cold. I'm 5'2", 105 lbs,my measurements are 36-26-36. I ordered an xsmall this coat fits like a glove it falls about 3" below my knees. February 28, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice fitted jacket, but color was off I ordered the jacket online. Seems Iike a nice warm jacket with good workmanship. The only thing was the color, it wasn'to as bright as seen online. It's more like burgandy, very dark. February 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this coat!!! Love this coat !!!...fits snug ...The way I like it and is super duper warm!!! February 27, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love Love this coat! Bought 2 other jackets that I returned before getting this. It's the best. The only reason I say it runs a little small is because if you're busty it might be a little tight across the chest. I'm not.. which works out well for this coat :) I love the color. It's a muted red, not shiny. And it's super warm! The faux fur lining can be separated from the hood and the hood is detachable from the coat! Bonus feature not mentioned - it has a lining in the sleeve that can be brought down and there is thumb hole so no wind getting through when you're wearing gloves! February 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome cold weather coat I have worn this coat several times. Including a 14 degree day where I was outside hiking for hours. It does a great job of keeping you warm and the wind off while not overly restricting movement. You still cannot neglect the mid and base layers if you're going to be out for awhile. Especially if you're not moving around much! No coat is going to do that. The only negative is the fur around the hood. Without it the hood loses too much cover. With it, the strands are always in field of view. This isn't a big deal for me as I have other head gear. But if you're going to have a hood the decoration shouldn't take away from functionality. It is fine for occasional use like walking to the car. Size for me 5'4", 115#, wide shoulders and long arms for my size, with good layers was true to size. Bulky mid layers like sweatshirts could be an issue. February 26, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by I wish I could give this a higher rating This jacket would be great except for one thing - THE HOOD. One of the reasons I bought the Apres Arson jacket was because it has a hood. Unfortunately, there is no way to secure the hood to my head - there's no drawstring or snaps. Every time the wind blows, the hood flies right off my head. Or the wind is able to get under the hood and my head feels cold even though I'm wearing a hood. The hood is essentially useless and I am frustrated and disappointed that I now need to purchase a hat in addition to this expensive jacket. This is the first time I've been disappointed by a Columbia product. February 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for new York crazy weather Love it, just what I was looking for. The only thing the hood is not adjustable, it doesn't stay on when it's windy. February 24, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very stylish and warm Love this coat and was happy I bought it. Very stylish and warm but runs small. I bought a XL and it a little snug, I should of got the 1x. I would recommend it to everyone. February 24, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great coat but... I ordered this coat in mid January and needed it during the coldest part of our season so far. Here is something to keep in mind... If you are a traditional woman who's shoulders are as wide as your hips, follow the sizing guide. If you are like me and your shoulders are wider than your hips, go up a size. I ordered a large and I have a 36 inch bust and usually wear a 12-14 size blouse (depending on the manufacturer). When my large coat arrived it was too tight in the bust. I order an XL and I am very happy with it except for the fact that I only got to wear it for 1 day of COLD weather! I echo what others have said about the zipper -it is difficult. You have to make sure you have the double zipper well gathered to get it zipped. No way you are going to zip this one up in a hurry! That is the trade off for the extra length to keep you warm... February 22, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Weird fit Coat fit perfectly in terms of length and at the waist, but had really big shoulders and long sleeves...unflattering as a result. Beautiful coat...wish it fit better because I would have loved to have kept it February 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy In Marblehead Phenomenal Product! I would suggest. February 16, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great - could be better To start off with the positives, this coat is definitely warm! I have a 15 minute walk to and from work. It is comfortable and the double zipper is nice for stairs and bus rides. I am 5'3" and 115 lbs and went with the XS. I was hoping to size up and have a bit of room to layer, but I found that when I went up to a size S, the middle section fit almost exactly the same, but the shoulders and arms were laughably big on me. I like the cinching feature of the waist to give me some definition. On the not-so-great features - the zipper can stick and be difficult. The Velcro is so strong that it snags my scarves and clothes - snaps would have been so nice for such an expensive coat. And the biggest annoyance of my life - the hood. Why is there nothing to keep it on? I don't care which way I adjust it, when there is the slightest bit of wind, it flies off. Very frustrating - and cold. I wish I could layer a hooded jacket underneath this easier only for this reason. February 16, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I expected from Columbia I purchased this coat in January because I was in desperate need of a winter coat. I tired it on in store and was very satisfied. After buying it I then wore it out of the store! Now, after about a month of wear, I have decided that it was NOT worth the money! Being 5'6" this coat makes me look short! The coat is heavy, bulky and isn't all that warm. The detachable faux fur already looks ratty and makes my hair frizz. I would take it off but doing that makes the hood shorter. Even with the fur attached the hood doesn't stay on my head. Without the fur the hood is pointless. The plastic double zipper is the worst feature! It's hard to zip and not worth my time. Overall I'd say the coat was poorly designed and is way over priced. I'm very disappointed and would've returned it knowingly. February 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST COAT EVER!!! I had to write this review. It is currently 1 degrees with winds -20 to -30 in Chicago. It is really, really cold outside. I wore my coat today going to work. I took the train and I did not feel the cold. I was very warm and comfortable. I also wore the Omni boots, they where very warm and comfortable. I have lived in Chicago for over 20 years and this is the best coat ever!! This coat can handle this brutal Chicago weather! I recommend this coat the everybody. THANK YOU COLUMBIA FOR MAKING THIS COAT! January 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for wintery commute I've only had this product for about a week, but I put it to its first real test on my commute this morning in what the weatherman described as a "squall". I've commuted to work by bus for the past 8 years or so, and after years of miserably braving the elements, finally decided to invest in a good quality, waterproof winter coat. I also wanted a coat that was functional, but stylish enough to wear in any type of outing. Like I said, I've been commuting in this for about a week (mid-January). So far, I find that it's warm enough to stand outside in the slushy rain and snow, but breathable enough that I'm not drenched in sweat while I ride my bus to work. So far, it seems like it really is waterproof and windproof. I am 5'1" and wear a 10-12, and the large fits me great (if not a little big in the shoulders) and hits me right at about the knee. It's a nice snug fit so that no wind is blowing through it, but also flexible enough to easily lift my arms, climb up stairs, etc. Like others have said, I'm not crazy about the velcro on the front closure but it functions well. I've quickly run out the door and just used the velro to close the coat (it's a long zipper and it takes me a while, ok?) It does have lots of nice details that I appreciate- the breast pocket with the opening to slide your headphones through, the puffy collar that blocks cold air and feels like I'm wearing a travel pillow and the little wrist liner thing with a thumb hole. This was a good $100+ more than I typically spend on winter jackets, but it feels worth it if it will actually keep me warm and dry. I'm hoping this will last at least three more winters! Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm coat for commuting in the cold I live in Minneapolis and this coat keeps me warm over a sweater even when waiting for the bus in below freezing temps and wind chill. I usually wear an XS but found that this coat runs a little big, especially in the arms and hips. That said, I'm quite pear shaped (36" hips) and find that the slight bell silhouette is not only flattering, but ensures the coat is comfortable when sitting down on the bus. I don't think sizing would be an issue unless you are very, very slim. Also, the slightly bigger arms allow for sweaters to fit nicely underneath. The zippered pockets and adjustable hood make this coat very functional. At this price point, I do wish that some of the materials were a bit higher quality; for example, I wish that the velcro closures were button snaps and that the arms were lined with a thicker material, like the men's Barlow Pass coat. Despite that one complaint, this coat in gorgeous, well made, and is great for protecting from severe cold and wind chill. I'd highly recommend it, especially if you can get it on sale! Love the lighter tan-grey color, too. January 11, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good winter coat Pros: waterproof, toasty insulation, excellent for bus commuting in windy, rainy, 30-40 degree temps in Seattle winter. Also nicely fitted. Cons: the faux fur on the hood looks like I'm wearing a muppet & tho it's detachable, when removed the brim of the hood sits too far back to shield my face, and I'm not a fan of the Velcro - fine when coat is zipped but catches on clothes when open. Size reference: I'm 5'3" 108 lbs 34/26/35 and the XS fits perfectly. January 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this coat! I have searched far and wide for a coat that has the features I wanted and needed in a winter coat and this one nails it on the head! Its tough to find a long winter coat that is fashionable, warm, not shiny, not "quilted" or puffy, not black/grey, and that has the ability to remove both hood and fur AND has wrist warmers built in with thumb holes so no more cold wrists when donning gloves. I couldn't be happier! January 7, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by A good value for money. I purchased this Jacket for the Chicago winter. So far, It's been very good, but thankfully , the winter so far did not worsen and is relatively warmer compared to the last couple of years. This jacket ,works great for temperature of 20 F and i find it really comfortable to walk with it to get to my work place everyday. The Omni insulation is great, i can really feel my body heat reflected through this material. I do not know yet, how this Jacket would work for even lower temperature, but overall, it is a great buy for the price it comes with. I got a crimson red Small and it fits fairly well ( if not a little big ).I'd recommend this product. January 3, 2016
