Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Jacket This thing will keep you dry in the rain! November 6, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Jacket This jacket is my first rain jacket and I love it . I debated between this jacket and a North Face jacket since it was my first time purchasing one and I was not only pleased with the quality of this product but also the price. November 1, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by not bad the shoulder is a little narrow. besides that, everything is pretty good for this item! October 31, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by It was right until it wasn't I LOVED the color and feel of this rain jacket. My issue is that I couldn't layer underneath it. I bought this for a trip to Iceland and I will need to layer warmer clothes underneath. I returned it so I could order a men's equivalent. So, if you don't have to layer and just need a light outter shell - go for it. If you need to layer, and have to go larger than an XL, you need to shop in the mens section :( October 29, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by This jacket runs small I like the jacket, but will not be able to wear anything but a thin layer underneath as I th it runs a little small. October 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Function and style I wanted a waterproof shell to wear over layers while hiking and watching outdoor sporting events. My granddaughter likes the look of it, not "grandmotherly" at all. Because it's nylon, it's "noisy" when hiking, but not too much. The sleeves are long for me, a plus since I pull them over my fists during rainy and windy weather. There are velcro tabs to pull the wrists tighter. It keeps me very warm and dry, exactly as advertised. I don't get too sweaty either. The hood works well, easily adjustable for wind gusts. The zipper pulls up and down easily, too. I would definitely recommend it. October 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Jacket! Have worn, and enjoyed, Columbia rain jackets for years. When my daughter needed a new one it was a natural choice. October 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Stayin' Dry Two days after receiving this raincoat (XL Geyser) I went camping. Just when I pulled into a campsite, a downpour began. No time for a tarp. I cooked dinner with just the van's lift gate for shelter as I set up camp. This raincoat performed! Feet and legs got "damp" , but not shoulders, or head. Trustworthy! I like the soft, lightweight fabric and the beautiful color. It folds up small, but it's not designed to pack into a pocket. It fits nicely into a stuff sack I had. I bought the XL instead of L after reading reviews. It fits fine and has room for a light jacket underneath. I did research and one reason I chose this was the length. A raincoat should cover your seat! However, if I were designing a raincoat it would: 1. Absolutely have a two way zipper for convenience in sitting, reaching jeans pockets, etc. WHY in the world have raincoats omitted this feature? 2. Use snaps instead of velcro on the front. I plan to change this myself. 3. Have a detachable hood. This coat is stylish. Sometimes I would like to wear it in a little dressier venue or as a simple windbreaker. 4. Figure out how to secure the sleeve lining so it doesn't push out of the end of the sleeve. I will probably compromise the waterproofness by a small stitch or two under the arm. I am very pleased with this purchase, and will enjoy keeping dry on hikes in the rain! October 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by They look Great! The Columbia tops are excellent gifts for my children and grandchildren. I recently purchased a number of tops for my granddaughters and had the logo put on them from the GIGL golf league they are in. October 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jacket This jacket is very comfortable and keeps me dry! I have received many compliments on the color and fit. I have the bright rose. October 8, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Thin! I was expecting a little more from this jacket. The material is almost paper-thin making it unsuitable for cool days. I am returning this item and getting a thicker replacement. October 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best purchase thus far!!!! I bought this when I came to college and it has been THE best thing that I have purchased since coming to college! It keeps me dry and it keeps you warm when it gets cool. I love that it is Packable because where I attend college it will rain suddenly throughout the day so I love to keep it in my backpack for days that it might rain. October 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it I bought this jacket for an everyday kind of jacket. I am completely satisfied with this purchase! The jacket is light enough for everyday but also great to layer over a sweatshirt. It is a little bit tight when layered, but still a great fit! Love this jacket! October 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love my jacket This jacket is perfect for keeping the rain off of me for my job. I wanted something that was light weight but kept me dry and this jacket was it. I definitely recommend this jacket. October 1, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Rain coat Looks and feels thin. Not a flattering material. September 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice rain jacket! I wanted a rain jacket that wasn't bulky and looked feminine. This was perfect. I got the white because all my jackets are dark. A great change. September 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Jacket for the PNW I bought this jacket because I live in Seattle and it rains here ALL THE TIME. I needed something that was durable, washable and water-proof - it has all these wonderful qualities! I ordered a Large so that I could comfortably wear work clothes or a sweatshirt underneath it, it has ties at the bottom so you can cinch up the waste (which is what I did). Overall, this jacket is magnificent and is a great investment for anyone who wants to travel around the world or for the weary resident here in the PNW (or any rainy town for that matter)! September 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light and waterproof I purchased this jacket for our trip to Alaska. It performed well in the rain. I like it because it is not bulky, so I could roll it up and stick it in a day pack when I wasn't wearing it. It does run true to size and was a bit snug over the fleece jacket I purchased for warmth. If you plan on layering, you may want to size up. September 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love it! I really like this windbreaker, I had another one in black, and their are so usefull! September 2, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Just a little too big I love this jacket. It is super comfortable! The only issue that I had with it is that it runs a little big. Other than that its a great jacket and I will be ordering it in a size smaller. August 29, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Truly rainproof! I always get compliments on my hibiscus Columbia raincoat. It is quality construction and keeps me dry and the wind out as I walk. The hood is large enough with it's little visor to keep the rain out. My only problem would be that the sleeve length runs quite long. I have long arms and a wider back, so I needed to get an XL size. The large ran too small. Overall this is a great coat. August 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for Rain, but... The product is perfect for the rain in the spring, summer, and fall. It keeps me dry and does it's job. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the ruby red color is actually pinker than it is in the picture. It wouldn't be an issue if I actually liked pink, but I don't. I am searching for one in another color and I will probably gift this one to someone as returning it would be a hassle. August 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Makes me look forward to rainy days! I have an active dog and am outside walking or running at least 30 minutes, seven days a week. Bought this for drizzly days and LOVE the color (Groovy Pink). Plenty of room for layering underneath as the temperatures drop. Wore this on a recent trip to Colorado and it kept me dry in the drizzle! August 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jacket, love the unique color! I love the shape of this jacket! It's okay for curvy ladies like me and doesn't hug too tight in the hips. I wear size 12 in pants and a L jacket was just right. Many reviewers were disgruntled about the color "red hibiscus." Don't be fooled - red here does not mean true red. This is what I call watermelon red and has kind of a pink/orange hue to it. It's bright and beautiful! August 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pretty gnarly jacket When I first got this jacket, my friend and I were so impressed with how waterproof it was, he stood there and dumped a bottle of water on me and we screamed "THIS IS SO COOL!" I like this jacket. It's a bit big around the waist for me, but I'm alright with that. It gets the job done well, and keeps me warm. July 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by The Basic Rain Jacket You Need I was opposed to rain jackets for a while because they were usually too bulky for my frame -- not this one. The material is thin, but breathable and does the trick in torrential downpour. I use it mostly for getting around the city, but it's very packable for my hikes too. July 20, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good for a packable rain jacket. I bought this for a wet hiking trip and wanted something lightweight and packable. The jacket is much thinner than I expected, but so far seems to be waterproof. The fit is fine and the sleeves are long - love that since I'm tall with long arms. But there's so much more that could have been added to make it more functional. There are no underarm vents, or back vent, so although it is thin, I'm not sure how breathable it will be. And there are only the two lower side pockets, so you'll need storage space in other clothing to carry things while hiking/traveling. The tag says: stores in concealed pocket. Well, I looked and looked but found no concealed pocket. What it does is store stuffed inside one of the two pockets that has a double-sided zipper tab. All in all it will be useful, but isn't really as good as advertised in my opinion. July 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by PERFECT I'm in love with this rain jacket! I was worried to receive it because I don't really like ordering items online for the hassle of sending them back but as soon as I tried it on I didn't want to take it off! The sleeves have velcrow on the ends to tighten up around the wrist, the pockets have zippers for secure safety, and the color is very bright and vibrant! (I ordered bright rose and it's slightly brighter than the photos show, which I loved). VERY high quality and I definite recommend! July 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by sizing is off? I ordered a size up since Columbia stated it ran small - but that didn't work for me. I am 5'9" 148 lbs., and ordered a large; I should have ordered my normal size medium. I think the jacket would serve it's purpose, but it was also a little too "swishy" for me. July 13, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Size chart - blah I ordered a medium based on the columbia size chart but i was swimming in it. Paid a lousy $17 to send it back . Boo. Try being like zappos. July 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice jacket Slim cut looks good. Sleeves are a bit long - it would be nice if this came in a petite size. Like the mesh lining. July 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Arcadia Rain Jacket Great jacket...Used it on a cruise up in Alaska. It didnt rain, but it was nice to use with layers near glaciers....Get a larger size so you can put a few layers on. It rolls up nice in a backpack. Highly recommend this jacket. July 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fit I bought this jacket in the navy blue color, in a size medium. I am 5' 10" and 117 lbs and because I'm so tall with long arms i bought a medium. The medium is a great fit for me. I am able to wear it by itself but there is also room for a few layers underneath. it comes down to a perfect length. It does its job and keeps you dry. The arms came down to right after my wrist and have a velcro at the wrist where you can make it tight at the wrist. The jacket also has two zippered hand pockets. The hood has a little visor thing almost to keep the water away from your eyes, but you can't really tell when you look at the jacket so thats good. The hood also has drawstrings so you can make it tighter. the only possible downside to it is that the hood is not very roomy. But that should not deter you from choosing this jacket. i was debating between this and a few other columbia rain jackets and some other brands. also i bought this online without trying it on in a store. Overall, this jacket has turned out great and exactly what i am looking for. if you are hesitating between this and some other columbia rain jackets, this is for sure a reliable choice. June 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly what I wanted! I ordered the Arcadia II jacket for myself in the light blue. I ordered a medium so I would have room for a sweater underneath if needed and still have room to move. It is a very nice fit and a good looking jacket. My husband and I are taking a trip to Germany later in the summer and needed waterproof jackets. I haven't had the occasion yet to try it in the rain, but it appears to be well made and hopefully true to keeping me dry in a storm. June 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable and dry This jacket was a great purchase. The size is great...I'm 5'5, 145 and I got a medium. I like that the jacket isn't fitted or tight, there is room for an extra light jacket underneath, but it doesn't feel baggy. It keeps me totally dry, and with the bill on the hood, my face is kept dry as well! Totally recommend this jacket! June 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice material, light weight. I like this jacket a lot. It's light weight and comfortable. Has pockets with zippers to keep your phone/keys dry, etc. It does run a little small, I'm 5'6 117 lbs. I went to the store to try it on and decided on a small instead of my usual xsmall. June 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by dryincolorado I purchased this coat in a size medium after reading the reviews of the jacket running small. The size medium was a good choice because I can wear it by itself or with a warm sweater under it for chilly rainy days. I am 5'4" and weigh 125 pounds. June 4, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by roswell Runs very small - XL does not fit size 14. Returned. May 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for Hiking! Bought this in a M for hiking in Ireland. It was perfect! Waterproof, comfy, lightweight. I was able to wear 3 layers underneath very comfortably. I absolutely LOVE this jacket! Good for many types of weather and a great rain jacket. I love the mesh lining and extra room. I am SOOO glad I had this on my trip! Excellent value! May 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this jacket! My review is just after one rain and it performed as advertised. This was exactly what I was looking for. And the packable feature is very convenient. May 22, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Jacket It is a great rain Jacket. I didn't give 5 stars because I don't like the Velcro. May 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love my jacket! I received my jacket in just a couple of days and immediately started wearing it! I have been walking a lot for fitness this spring. I got caught in a rain shower, and stayed dry! It lives up to its claim to be waterproof, and is great to wear other times too. I only wish you had the light blue one in stock when I bought it, I would have preferred that color. May 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lightweight and well constructed I think the jackets are a little pricey but overall a very nice lightweight spring jacket. Keeps you dry and warm. For cooler days you can layer with a lightweight jacket, so buy a size larger because it runs a little small. The sleeves are nice and long and adjustable with Velcro; which is very nice since I'm tall. I usually buy coats/jackets a larger size to accomadate for my heights, so they are a little longer. I would love to see a talls collection!! I would definitely recommend this jacket! Columbia, how about signing up with retail me not? May 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great purchase I wasn't sure how it was going to look in person but it was great, it's lightweight. The hood has a little part that you can pull to make it tighter on the inside, and when you stuff the jacket into the pocket it has a zipper so you can close it. The jacket fits me just right, I live in a climate where it doesn't get cold so it's not necessary to layer but it's probably better if you buy a size up if you need to layer. It rains often in Miami so this is a great purchase. I'm 5'0, 129 lbs and it fits just right. May 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Jacket I needed something lightweight yet warm and waterproof. This fits the bill. Perfect for a Seattle spring, a windy mountaintop and everyday unpredictable weather. Love it. May 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by LIGHT WEIGHT AND WATERPROOF Most rain jackets are so thick and make you super hot when wearing them. Never mind the rain....i'm sweating in here! ha! This is a great light weight summer time rain jacket! May 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Purchase I have used this jacket 8 times already since I purchased it and love it. It's light-weight. Looks great and keeps you dry. I ordered it in a Medium and it fits great. Also, the product shipped very quickly. A definite plus in my book! I would definitely recommend it! May 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for Me Debated over a medium or large as I usually wear a medium or size 8...I went with the large because I'm 5'10" and have extremely long arms. I decided on a large, should I want to wear a sweatshirt or something underneath and it fit perfectly! The arms were just long enough to make it to my wrists. I took it with me on a lovely spring hike just last week--while the base way warm, the summit was freezing and crazy windy! The jacket protected me from the cutting cold wind and the snow/melting ice I encountered. Love this jacket! April 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Is the White one see through? I have the purple one and it is great! It protects me in the rain and is very fitting. I love this product, but I have one question, is the white one see through when wet? My daughter really wants this one, but I don't want it to be see through. Thanks! Olivia April 25, 2015
