Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 35 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Coat, Too Big I got my coat today and I was super excited to try it on. It feels warm and cozy, so I know it will be great for the winters here. I went with the reviews saying that it runs small so I ordered a 3x instead of the 2x. I am returning it to order the 2x. I also did not find the arm holes to be too snug, and I typically have problems with that in jackets. November 27, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Winter Warm, very disappointed. I have never been able to afford a nice jacket for myself and I am so disappointed. I wore this jacket for the first time today, it was 27 degrees and I was very cold. It gets much colder than 27 in this area. I expect more from a 195.00 Jacket. If you live in the Northeast don't expect this Jacket to keep you warm. November 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm Rain Protection Living in the cold, wet, windy Pacific NW, I am always on the hunt for good weather protection. Not always a fan of interchange systems, but this jacket meets my requirements. I particularly like that the outer shell is not stiff and rubbery. The jacket, on its own, is a very nice fabric and lining. I like the removable hood option. I would prefer a 2way zipper and snaps rather than velcro, but other than that, I like this jacket a lot. I haven't had the coat long, but was caught in a windy drenching downpour, and although a short time, it kept me dry and comfortable. I am very happy with this jacket. November 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly what I wanted I live in Virginia and our weather is known for being "bipolar". Just this week, for example, we were in the low 50's for two days and then jumped to the mid to upper 70's the rest of the week. Crazy right?! I needed a new rain jacket and winter jacket that fit. So I decided to get the interchangeable jacket. I read the reviews before purchasing and I'm glad I did. I am 5'4" and true 2XL plus size. I ordered the 3XL as the previous reviews said to do. Good thing too. The 2XL would have been just fine if I only wanted to wear a tshirt underneath it. But I like to layer, so the 3XL left plenty of room for a sweater or sweatshirt and there was still room to move and breathe! I didn't feel like I was being suffocated. It's surprisingly lightweight for the warmth that it provides. It's also long enough to cover my bottom, which seems to be hard to find nowadays. Overall, I would recommend this jacket. If you don't like to layer, I would stay true to your size (the size chart is on point). But if you want to wear bulkier items underneath the jacket I would up-size. October 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Quality This one runs a little small - suggest you order a size up, especially when considering the bulk of winter clothing. It is extremely well made and comes with a liner. I have not worn it yet because I had to return for a size up. There is some weight to the jacket but it is light enough for a winter coat. Rated 1 out of 5 by The liner does not like to come out or go in. I live in MN, where we have weird weather swings. This April for example it was -20F one day and 6 days later it was 60F. I bought this jacket because of its versatility. BUT I have the worst time getting the liner back inside the jacket when it gets cold outside. It STICKS to the omni-heat and is ridiculously hard to shove the sleeves back in, & get back out. SO much so that the jacket lasted only 1.5 months before I gave up and it now hangs behind the door awaiting to be given to some poor soul. I should also say that I have the same problem simply wearing it. The omni-heat sticks really bad when I wear fleece. July 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bugaboo Interchangeable Was amazing of the fit and in comparison of another Columbia product. April 9, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by coat I like my jacket just thought it would be warmer than it is. February 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Light & Warm Upgrading from the ZeroXPosur. This jackets fit is true to size, very comfortable, not restricting and WARM. Shockingly light weight jacket February 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by great winter jacket I am a true size 18-20 I have large chest and large back side. This coat is not tight on my hips and hangs does not bunch on my hips. I also can zip up with a thick sweatshirt on underneath. . I went with the 3x and I am glad I did. It's a little long in the sleeves but I have the room to wear a hoodie or large sweater underneath. I work in illionis in the winter and it is a warm coat. February 12, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by bugaboo jacket The arms holes run very small for bigger armed women. February 1, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Tight in the sleeves. This jacket runs true to size in the body, but the sleeves run smaller, go figure? It does not handle weather colder than 10 degrees, although it IS wind and waterproof. I find the collar to be bulky. On the upside, it is a lightweight jacket! I think just jacket needs a redesign. . . January 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fitting Fits very well. Looks and feels good January 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by over all good jacket Ordered size up due to reviews stating runs small. Fits great in shoulders and arms with sweater on but a little big around the waist. Not as warm as I expected but comfortable in 25-35 degree weather. December 26, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not warm enough It did not meet my expectations of warmth. I did buy it based in good feedback, but i couldnt get warm with this jacket at all. December 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by omni heat Reflective liner makes it impossible to put arms into sleeves unless you are wearing a shirt made of synthetic material! Also disappointed that it doesn't have any inside pockets or at least a breast pocket on the outside. Other than that I really like this jacket. December 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Winter Coat Ever I honestly believe this is the best winter coat I've ever owned. It's so lightweight, and yet very warm. I'm able to move my arms without feeling restricted, and yet it keeps the wind out. I love the adjustable hood (a little Velcro on the back of the hood) so I can make sure I can see well even when the hood is up. I plan on wearing this coat year round since the lining zips out. It will be my new rain coat, as well. Seems to be well made, and I love the zipper pockets to keep my phone safe and dry. I got the Red Hibiscus in a 2X. I'm around a size 18-20, but since I'm always wearing heavy sweaters in the winter - it's perfect! December 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent but small I purchased this jacket after my last Columbia jacket (which I bought in 1996) deserved to retire. The quality of Columbia is excellent and worth the investment! My only negative is that the sleeves run small. If you're going to wear a bulky sweater, definitely order a size up otherwise it's difficult to get on and off. It's thin but very warm, so much lighter than my old jacket but still warm in cold weather. December 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Coat So far I love my new coat! It is warm and cozy and I love the color, Red Hibiscus. December 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Too tight The armpit cut in the coat was so small it was cutting into my armpit. I always order 1X size and the arms have always been fine but this coat was just off. The coat looked cool. The colors are great and it felt warm. December 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very comfortable and warm I had to return the jacket I originally ordered because I didn't realize it ran small. Now I have the right size. Very comfortable and warm. I only wear Columbia jackets, and this is a good one. December 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent! Great multifunctional coat. This is my second one and I love them! November 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product This jacket is everything that I need it keeps you warm during cold weather and you can also use it as a wind breaker for windy cool days. I love that it can be used for also just a freeze. This jacket isn't bulky or heavy. It's easy move around in it while still supplying everything you need out of a jacket. I totally recommend this jacket. It's a great product. November 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bugaboo Jacket I love the look and feel of this jacket. It is surprisingly light weight, yet it keeps me toasty warm. I ordered one size up from what I normally wear, and it fits fine. November 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Jacket! What I love about this jacket, besides it keeps you warm in the cold weather, is it is not bulky at all like some 3 in 1 jackets can be. The pockets on the jacket are bigger than expected which was a nice surprise. This jacket keeps me warm when I am outside with my students as they are playing on the playground. November 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this jacket!! Having just moved back to Indiana from southern Florida, this coat was awesome for the transition back to cold weather! After reading reviews online, I ended up buying a size bigger so I could avoid the short arm length that was discussed. Not only does a size larger provide for just the right length, it also gives me extra room for the bulky sweaters I've been wearing to stay alive. I am anxiously awaiting spring so I can try the liner alone! November 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worn these coats for years I bought my first Columbia interchange coat in 1993, and I still have it, though it is a bit worn. They last forever. I purchased a new one with the Omniheat technology, so I'll see how this one works. I now have three of these coats because it can get 20 below where I live. These do run small. I usually wear a size 22, but ordered the 3XL (size 24-26) because I had tried on the 2XL in a store a couple of years ago, and it was very small. These coats and the interchange system are great for all-year-round weather. November 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lightweight and warm I would give this product an overall rating of excellent, if the fit was more true to size. The thermal jacket inside fit true to size. The outer shell was slightly smaller than what I would prefer. Wearing a sweatshirt or thicker shirt underneath is not comfortable due to the smaller fit. The positives are that it is extremely warm, yet light weight! I definitely do not sweat with it on. I love that the neck comes up high to block out the wind. Transitioning to just the thermal is so easy! I would definitely 100% buy Columbia jackets in the future. I hope they fit the jackets more true to size in the future. November 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by coat I absolutely love this coat!!!!! It's warm and fits like it was made for me! !!! November 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice but sleeves are snug Purchased a month ago; finally got cold enough to wear. The 2X jacket fits well with two exceptions: 1) sleeves of liner are very long (hang out of jacket sleeves), will need to hem them; and 2) sleeves of jacket with liner are narrow, can wear a light-weight sweater, but nothing heavier (i.e., sweatshirt) without feeling constricted. Otherwise, the jacket fits and looks nice. November 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good Features I looked forward to wearing a really nice, warm jacket and am disappointed. I have been wearing this jacket in 30-40 degree weather. Even with wearing a sweater underneath, it has not been warm enough. For the cost of the jacket, I really expected it to be a lot warmer. The jacket is a good length, covers the lower back when you bend over. I use the jacket daily while in the dog park with my dog. We are at the park everyday, regardless of the weather. Definitely order 1 size larger so you have enough room in the arms. I went up 1 size and it fits perfectly. November 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by ski jacket great jacket...just runs a little small....go up a size if you have any concerns on the fit October 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jacket Can't wait to wear this jacket in the really cold weather, but the fit is great, and I'm already enjoying using the detachable fleece jacket. So comfortable and roomy. Even the fleece has the "heating dots". Very well made jacket and there's even plenty of room for a sweater underneath! Long enough to cover my bottom. Got the hyper purple color and love it. So excited to wear my new Colombia purple and teal winter hat to go with my jacket...pretty!!! September 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The jacket is excellant The jacket is the best. The size was smaller then expected.I wish I had ordered the next size but the material and construction was great September 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable material Love the look, great pocket space, a little small but overall comfortable October 13, 2015
