Color is very different than the product shots I would have given this coat 5 stars but because of the color I gave it 4. I have been looking for a warm lightweight coat for quite some time. Once I saw this coat online I fell in love. Not only was it functional, but I loved the contrast of the Grey bottom with the white top. So you can imagine my surprise when I recieved this and the color was way off. In the photo it looks very contrasty with the darker grey and the white, but the coat I recieved doesnt have the same level of contrast. The grey bottom is very very very light, and has more of a blueish tint to it. While I was dissapointed with the color, it was something I decided I could live with, but I feel it is misrepresented in the product shots. I have attached a photo of what the jacket actually looks like. December 16, 2014
Very light warm jacket 5'4", 115 lbs. normal size small, but for this jacket , size xs fit better. Very light jacket, easy to pack for travel. So far, it is nice & warm. But I can not wait for the weather to get really cold, below 30 degrees so I can test how warm it is. December 11, 2014
Warm, light, and comfortable I live in the Pacific Northwest and it gets cold and windy in the winter time. I wore this jacket on one of those 50 mph windy days and I couldn't even feel the breeze through any of the seems. It's super lightweight which makes it comfortable to wear all around. I do suggest getting a size bigger if you plan to wear multiple layers underneath, or just like that extra room to move around. December 10, 2014
Unbelievable Warmth! This coat is so unbelievably light I couldn't imagine it could be as warm as it is! I spend all afternooon and evening at a Green Bay Packer's game and stayed toasty warm the entire time! Even though there were snow showers on and off I stayed dry as well. I would definitely purchase is coat again in a heartbeat! December 9, 2014
Ready for Everest Base Camp! Two years ago I bought Omni Heat products for summitting Kilimanjaro and they were fantastic, so I thought, "Hey, why not buy more for Everest?" So glad I did. It was 25F (real feel 12F) tonight and I walked my dogs up a local mountain road in extreme wind wearing only a t-shirt and the Turbodown jacket. Lightweight but still warm and toasty!!! All set for Everest... Only things it's missing are drawcords for the hood and hips to lock in the warmth in extreme winds. However, appropriate layering will take care of any nippiness. ready for winter! I live in Virginia, where its not that cold compared to elsewhere but I am a heat person. So when winter comes around I always bundle up (sometimes wearing 4 layers!). I was looking for a winter coat that will keep me warm but is not too bulky. When I got this in the mail, I was a little weary of its warmth. But I wore it the next day walking to class and across my whole campus (temps were 40s and extremely windy) and surprisingly it is very warm!! By the time I got to lab, I was getting really warm. totally recommend this coat!!! I got the med because the dimensions of the large seemed a little too big for me. The bottom is a little tight at first, but after zipping it up its snug and i can move pretty freely. November 12, 2014
My Absolute Favorite Jacket I LOVE this jacket! I got the chance to wear an early release of the product last winter, and I barely took it off. It is light weight, incredibly warm and packs down to nothing. It is the perfect layer for super cold days, I've worn it on 14ers in winter, in the Cordillera Blanca at 19k ft, while walking around town on a cold night, and while ice climbing. Often I get too hot! I can't recommend this product enough. July 28, 2014
