Women’s Mighty Lite™ Hooded Jacket is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 473.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as warm as I expected. I was hoping this jacket was as warm as a shorter version I had bought years ago. It was not as warm. It has the same reflective lining and is just as light but something is different because it is definitely not as warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's fine, really Maybe I'm out of touch but I thought there would be more to this coat for the money. It's a bit thin; not sure it would serve in lower temps but I haven't had an opportunity to test that. It's nice looking and very light so overall, I'm satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coat Fits perfect. I'm 5'5" & 130 and I got a medium so it would fit comfortably over bulky sweaters & sweatshirts. It fits perfect. It's not bulky and extremely warm, which I am please about. I have the red and it's pretty bright definitely a vibrant red.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new jacket I was looking for a lightweight hooded jacket for colder weather. Both the shorter hip length mighty lites and the longer jackets were options I was open to. All of the mighty lites I tried were more fitted but I still chose my normal size of medium. Just keep in mind that being more fitted, each size may be perceived to be running a little small. In the end, this jacket's longer length, hood with no fur liner and comfort cuffs with thumb holes (Love!) were the big plusses for me with this jacket. Happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sexy Jacket This jacket is a bit snug, but perfect for looking cute and staying warm.
Date published: 2017-02-11
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not true to size These jackets are not true to size. In order to get one to fit around the chest it is too big everywhere else and too long. I usually wear a medium. This is the second size I ordered in the same jacket and they just don't fit right! Very disappointed and need to return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good jacker Bought the jacket to wear when visiting Boston. Was warm but not as warm as I expected. Need a warm layer underneath for winter

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat for the high country. I'm 5.2 and 97lbs and have a hard time finding a coat that is not too big, long, or long in the sleeves. This coat fits perfect and is great for driving and walking to work. Great color too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Underwhelmed Pros: very light thumbholes deep pockets love the color (navy) Neutral: Not down Cons: Not very warm A little short Hood does not have a drawstring and does not stay on in any wind No snaps
Date published: 2017-02-05
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very lightweight I purchased this coat because I wanted something lightweight yet warm enough for the winter season. It is everything I wanted, light yet warm and has many features that makes this coat perfect for the season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Survived Iceland & Finland I was really worried about how thing this coat was, as I was purchasing it for a trip to Iceland and Finland. It was no problem at all. In fact the Omni-heat worked a little TOO well and I had to zipper down the collar to get a little air. I was out in the rain, wind and sleet, without an umbrella, and managed to stay dry. I do wish that there was a little more room in the hip area as women tend to have these things. I ordered a Large, but an XL would have been too big on top.
Date published: 2017-01-31
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Fit for XS! I'm 5'3 and 110, I bought the XS and it fits perfectly! The arms are a tad bit long, but that's fine with me. I wear a Small in some other Columbia jackets I have, but I think the small would have been way to large for me for this jacket. I found it fit well over my bust as well (US size 32g), which can be tricky at times.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Coat - Keeps you warm Dealing with Michigan winters, this coat is great. Light in weight, thin and keeps you warm for running in and out of the car/house. If you're moving around outdoors, the insulation serves it's purpose of keeping you warm. I purchased a small in the purple dahlia color coat and get many compliments. I love the thumb holes, as well. My only recommendation is that the sleeve (w the thumb hole) be extended a little more. It pulls when I do use the thumb hole...often times making it uncomfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Winter Coat Bought this coat for walking in winter weather. Fits the bill. Keeps the thighs covered from the wind. I love the hand covers. The coat is thin, not a puffer, but the reflective lining does the trick. Good for temps down to the 20's with a sweater underneath. I miss having snaps along the zipper placket. This is a nice feature on other coats when I just want a quick closure without zipping the entire coat and then unzipping from below -- but I really like having the two-way zipper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I just received this jacket, which I had ordered online. I have one that is 2 years old I bought in store. The quality of the new jacket is poor, zipper is not working, was put in wrong, material isn't even close to what my other jacket is, very flimsy. I really love my first in store purchased jacket, which is why I ordered a second. I'm very disappointed in the over-all quality of this jacket. Will be returning. Not likely to purchase online again, only in store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this coat! I purchased a shorter jacket with the same light and wonderful lining. New Hampshire winters can be very cold, snowy and windy. I love my jacket and decided to get the longer version especially for those days. The quality is wonderful, the lining holds in your body heat no matter the temperature. My favorite thing is the lack of bulk and how lightweight it is. No regrets with this coat!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too small Unfortunately the coat is too small. I normally wear a medium but for this coat would need a large.
Date published: 2017-01-20
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Active fit apparently means really snug The coat is cute and the non-horizontal lines and the compressed functional fabric means you don't look like the Michelin Man. However, the coat is super form fitting and I wish I'd ordered a size L. I am 5'9" and normally wear an 8-10, but the coat rides up a bit when you are active. I'm considering exchanging it for a L, but I don't like paying for shipping three times and would be very disappointed if the L were too big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic jacket I purchased this jacket as I previously had a plus sized one that is now too large for me and was sad I could no longer wear it. This is my favourite jacket. It's lightweight, but keeps you warm. The sleeves are long, which is great for tucking in your hands. It looks great too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket As usual I'm thrilled with my Columbia product. The best winter sportswear providers in my opinion. I was a little sceptical when the jacket arrived because it is so thin and lightweight. Took on my winter vacation. Stands up to the super cold Canadian winter temperatures. Easy mobility because of how thin it is. The red colour is beautiful and the length perfect. It's often difficult to find a proper fitting jacket (esp. this length) for me because I am a tinier woman (5 4" and 100 pounds) but I have large hips and curves. I have had so many compliments on this jacket. Thrilled with this product.xs

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Complete joke and disappointment I bought this jacket because it was a longer version of the short plush one but it was a complete joke!! I was highly disappointment in this purchase. I am 5ft 6 inches tall and found the pockets to be positioned way too low down on the coat. I found myself having to have to tilt to the left or right to reach for items in the pocket (ie coins, chapstick, candy) or grab the lining in the pocket & pull the pockets up to me to get hold of an item in the bottom. Its description purpose listed it as "winter" but this jacket is far from a good winter choice. It was extremely thin and flimsy but they made it seem like the Omni heat would be sufficient for the weather but by the time I was able to take the coat for a cold weather test run, my return window had already expired. I can honestly say that this is a complete joke of a coat. Total and full disappointment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointed I bought the same coat last year in XL at a Columbia outlet store in Pennsylvania. I loved it & wanted another, "brighter" color, coat for this winter. When I saw the red color on sale on the web I couldn't resist. I don't know what happened to the sizing this year. As soon as I put my arm in the sleeve, I knew it ran small. The coat "just fit" across the bust , in the XL size. If I would gain any weight don't think the zipper would close. I actually measured(with tape measure) last years coat with this years coat, and there is a difference. I'm very disappointed & probably won't order anything else off the web since sizing is inconsistent. My friend ordered a size L in the same coat (black color). She's 5 foot 4 weighing 123 lbs. She also said the coat ran small.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pockets are too low In general I love this style of Columbia jackets. Very light weight and warm. I have the shorter version of this jacket and it fits great. However, this longer jacket has the pockets located too low on the coat so it's not comfortable to put your hands in your pockets. No idea why the pockets are not in the same location on the longer jacket as the shorter. If you have longer arms, this might not be an issue for you, but I really think it's a fail on the designer's part.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Coat I bought this coat at the London factory outlet, when I took it home, I realized it has a huge stain on the back of the coat that I hadn't noticed in the store. It looked like a grease stain. So I took back the coat, and I spoke to the greeter and he was so rude to me when I said I found this stain on my coat, he said I can't help you you need to speaks with the manager. So I said sure that's fine by me. The manger came over, looked at us and looked at the coast and said in a very angry voice, is this your coat with the stain? I said yes, she tried to tell me that it was my fault, I put the stain on he coat and they would never sell a stained coat, and that she couldn't help me. I was not impressed at all. I feel like this situation could have been dealt with more professional. I have heard of the London factory outlet being rude to customers trying to return things, but I didn't expect them to be this rude. I did really like the coat, it was great quality, I really wish i got to have a new one but that did not happen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat! This coat was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I bought it! It's not bulky, which i love! The Omni-heat insulation keeps you warm without the bulk of a big heavy coat. I love this coat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyone Knows About My New Fab Jacket! I LOVE THIS JACKET! I actually brag about it to all my friends. Comfortable, warm, and so light weight! When I feel a little chilled, I simply move more and warm right up. It's so lightweight it feels like I'm wearing a jacket lining, but so snuggly warm! As a 5'2" 2x petite, the arms fit me just right, so if you have long arms this might be an issue for you. But the jacket itself is wonderful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm and light weight Love Love Love this coat. Got it in the Red Camellia. I hate bulky coats, but like to stay warm. This coat keeps you warm without all that bulk. Love the thumb holes in the attached sleeves. The double zipper is a nice feature, gives you more leg room when walking the dog, or sitting in the car on a cold morning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light weight but warm I was very surprised at how warm this coat was. I like the color. It was what I expected. I live in a state where it gets very cold. With just a warm sweater underneath this coat, you stay really warm, even though the coat is very light weight. I also love how the hood when zipped all the way covers you mouth. Would definitely buy this coat again in the next size up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! Love this coat. Very light. Keeps me warm until temp gets to around 20. Recommend a jacket underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and warm I live in northern Minnesota and love this coat! I have worn this in -25 actual temps with windchill -50 and it keeps me warm on shopping trips without the bulk. I don't know if it would keep you warm at those temps if you go for a 30 minute hike, but who would do that anyway?? I'm 5'7 and weigh 165 and average built. The XL gives me room to wear hoodie or sweater underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight but warm! I purchased this coat in black but when it was delivered, it was more of a dark grey color. Very close to black though. I ordered a small and it fit well, i have room for a light sweater underneath. I am 5'5, 140 lbs and 36B chest. The length hits about mid leg. I was worried it would run small, based on other reviews but i did not find it ran small. Lightweight but warm!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So good! Such a great jacket! I took it to upstate New York in December and it was perfect. It's so light weight and gets compact so it's a perfect warm travel jacket. The zipper can be a little challenging to zip but it's fine. Love the cuffs on the ends of the sleeps to keep the cold out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing alround jacket I was shocked when I received the shipment about the package size and thought something went wrong. To my disbelief it was the jacket I ordered. It can be folded into a small bundle, fits like glove, keeps me warm and looks amazing. Perfect for travelling.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too small While the jacket was very pretty and light weight yet warm, I had to return it because it was too tight. I am curvy and have a plump rear. The coat was very tight to zipper from the bottom and no room for a thick sweater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket! Ordered this jacket for my daughter and she loves it so far. She can't wait to wear it at college! Nice weight jacket and very warm for wearing to go back and forth to classes in the winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Bought this after a long, multi year search for a new coat. I was instantly struck by how light weight feeling it is and how well it fit, even over a bulky long sweater. Very comfortable, not bulky, and non restrictive. Love the length of the body and the sleeves. For reference, I am 5'8", 125 lbs and bought a S. Great casual every day coat or even dressed up with scarf. Love it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Women's Mighty Lite Hooded Jacket Excellent, flattering fit, lightweight coat. I love this coat! Trim fit, can add bulky sweaters underneath. Very lightweight. Excellent in 40 degree temperatures. Not sure how warm this will keep me in 20 degree temperatures, but you can add sweaters underneath. Love the pockets and built-in hand-warmers, too! I'm a size 38C bra and this fit perfectly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This jacket performed well for one winter in WI. Now, whenever I go in the snow I am soaked! Not warm, not dry. Very disappointed.
Date published: 2016-12-26
Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT for ladies with HIPS!!! I commute to work on foot in NYC where winter gets pretty cold and it occasionally snows. Despite how very thin and light it is, the coat kept me warm. I wore layers underneath, because I get cold easily. Unfortunately, I had a few problems with it that had me buying a new coat. The pockets are in an awkward place, so you can't comfortably put your hands in them. The hood ALWAYS flew off, so I had to wear hats. My biggest problem was that it's not designed well for ladies with big hips, so it would get tight around my hips and leave my torso bulging enough that people on the subway stood up for me thinking I was pregnant, haha.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommended for Winter I have used this Coat in Saskatchewan, and Michigan. It is light weight which I love, it keeps you warm and isn't bulky. I have gone sledding in Saskatchewan with it and love this coat. I bought it in an XL as I tend to wear hoodies in the Winter. I will be purchasing a L next time. I am a short chubby woman. 5'3" 164lbs. I will continue to buy this particular coat over and over. So Please Columbia do not change this item. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing coat This is the ultimate coat for cold weather. feather-weight, impervious to wind, just the best. Have recommended and given to 5 people and all rave.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This jacket is not for winter. This jacket is for fall. If you want to wear this jacket in winter, you will need to wear another jacket on top of this one. Don't buy this jacket for winter.
Date published: 2016-12-22
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice, just not for me I'm short and curvy. I had to order an XL in order for it to fit my bust and bottom, but this made the other parts of the jacket really baggy and disproportionate and It just didn't fit my body. However, it is a very nice looking jacket and seems like it would definitely keep you nice and warm.
Date published: 2016-12-19
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not warm enough I love that this is lightweight and fits really well. It keeps me warm until the temps drop to mid to upper 40's. The water resistance is great- but it's definitely doesn't block the wind at all. The fill is starting to come out of the seams on week 3. Have'nt washed it yet.
Date published: 2016-12-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This will be my 2nd one! Have one in white. It was the only one in the store about three years ago so I bought it. I have washed it OFTEN (I'm not really a white wearer) and it's still in great shape. Just ordered one in black after doing much comparison shopping. I love the thumb holes, how light, long and warm it is. No other coat has all these features.
