Rated 3 out of 5 by Its okay. In Fargo ND it gets pretty chilly so this jacket may not have been the best choice. Though it kept the bite of the cold out I wasn't completely warm. I still like the jacket and will wear it this fall but I will be purchasing a different WINTER jacket soon. September 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product We like the materials that make this product, however what we liked the most was the fast delivery from the time we place the order on line, it was delivered next day!! Amazing! August 15, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Zipper not for a liner Fantastic jacket. Light and very warm. Only recommend that Columbia make all jackets available to use as a liner for their waterproof shells. This zipper is small & not compatible May 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fun Jacket I love the blue color, bright and cheerful. This jacket is very lightweight but warmer than you'd think. Sleeves are long but that's okay with the inner wrist liners. May 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product, meets my needs exactly I consider myself a true size 4, and struggle ordering clothing on line. In this case, the fit was perfect, and the jacket is performing exactly as I wished. I bought it to wear to the barn for riding; it is a light, but very warm spring/fall jacket that will fit nicely under my bulky winter coat for extra warmth during the winter. It fits well enough and is flexible enough that I can ride and work in it. Lovely product, definitely recommend it. April 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mighty Lite jacket III Fitted perfect with a little extra wear great buy!!! April 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pleased Alot thinner than I thought nevertheless I'm pleased with it as I will be wearing thin & thick long sleeve under it in my south dakota weather. Even thou Im a true size medium, I ordered a large due to reading other reviews stating it's a close fit....happy with my decision! Ground shipping took longer than I anticapted. April 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by My favorite go anywhere jacket I love this coat so much, that I replaced after I lost my original coat of same model at a conference. Things I love, 1. Great style, not bulky. 2. Omniheat 3. Thumb holes 4. Wash and hang dry overnight...ready in AM 5. Quality made ( should have listed #1) 6. The blue is pretty..original was black. Both nice colors. I love this coat. Rated 5 out of 5 by Best jackets! I bought the longer version of this jacket 2 years ago up in NC and it's been my go to coat for everything! It's so light and well insulated which is such a great function duo and I love the fact that the sleeves are more closed so air doesn't blow up the sleeves keeping you warmer. I would recommend this jacket/coat for anyone anywhere because it is that versatile ;) The price in the long run is worth it :) March 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacket I'm a ski instructor and wear it under my jacket and sm toasty warm. Wear it by itself also and love it! March 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lives up to it's name! I bought this jacket to replace a long sleeve but lightweight jacket I had been wearing to and from the gym because it just wasn't keeping me warm enough in the winter. I wanted something that wasn't bulky and that was small/thin enough to fit in the small cubby/locker but still kept me warm. After much research I purchased this one and am very satisfied w it. It's stylish and form-fitting but also warm. Best of both worlds! I live in Missouri where the weather can be 60 degrees one day and then "feeling like" -25 the next. This works for either because it doesn't make me too hot when it's warmer. I had a coat w cuffs previously and although these are different w thumb holes and want to pull back through the jacket when I take it off, it's not a deal breaker. I'm also 5'7" and about 150 lbs and thought a medium worked well. I went by the size chart. March 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by No Bulk! I was looking for a winter jacket that allowed me movement and no bulk, especially while driving. This jacket does just that! I also love that it fits really well over my bustier chest which is always a huge factor when buying a jacket online! The only con I have with the jacket is I am a short girl and I have a really short torso so the jacket is a little snug at my hips but not enough to not be able to wear it. Overall I am very happy with it. February 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light Weight Yet Warm Based on how thin/light weight this jacket is, I was afraid it would not keep me warm enough at 30-40 degrees. However, it's been a great find and has kept me comfortable even at a breezy 29 degrees with just a long-sleeve t-shirt underneath and a hat on. I've noticed I sometimes feel a bit "cool" but never cold. This seems to be because the jacket doesn't have a lot of fluff - like down - to hold in warmth. The heat of your body is just reflected back to you from the lining. I've come to trust the jacket and love the fact that it packs into a tiny space in my backpack. I can fit into a Small, but chose a Medium to allow for a fleece pullover underneath, just in case. It breathes well, looks sharp, and the sleeves and neck provide good coverage. Highly recommended. January 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lightweight and Warm; Runs Small Based on reviews, I ordered an extra large instead of my usual large. I am tall (6') with very long arms, and this jacket fits me perfectly in length and arm length. The body is a little loose, but the tapered style keeps it from looking frumpish. My jacket arrived during a cold snap - 10 degrees on average - and it keeps me warm. I absolutely love this jacket. I'm tempted to order in another color, and that's saying a lot because I'm pretty frugal, lol! January 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Jacket - Mighty Lite III I bought the jacket for my daughter who requested it for Christmas. She really loves the color and fit. I would recommend this product to anyone. January 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for late fall and early winter! I really like this jacket. It's great for those cool days where a hoodie isn't quite enough but you don't want anything too bulky. I would have given this jacket a 5 star rating but I was as bit frustrated with the sleeve length. I'm 5'10 and usually wear a medium. I went up to a large to get more length which I got but still can't comfortably use the thumb holds. The sleeves are long enough but just barely. So if you have longer arms like me and length is as issue place your order accordingly. January 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by warm, light and gorgeous color It was hard for me to decide to make this a barn jacket because it is so pretty! It is very warm and a nice alternative to the usual heavy bulky Barn clothing. As a recreational rider who doesn't need clothing with quite the durability of the folks who work at the ranch, I decided to take a chance with this and I love it. Went for a very cold ride with friends on Christmas, and I added a heavy vest but my arms were still plenty warm. It also has a thumb hole in the lining which is great with gloves! December 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love It! This was a Christmas gift for my daughter in law. She loved it! It fit perfectly & the bright color looked great on her. She was so excited to have such a good looking jacket & was excited to go back to work wearing it. I ordered online from Columbia & shipment arrived promptly as stated at time of order. December 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best find for keeping me warm! I am always cold & live is Southern Alberta. I usually wear numerous layers, even while inside. This jacket is light weight, comfortable, stylish & so very warm. I wear it with only a t-shirt & stay very toasty. December 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Satisfied Customer i got the black color in this coat but before I bought it I read the reviews. I usually wear a large but everyone was saying to get a size larger than what you usually wear because it runs small so I bought an XL. Fits perfect and keeps me warm! I will be purchasing another color in the near future. December 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lite but mighty I do admit I was intimidated when I got this jacket shipped to me, it was very lite and thin. I thought pretty pricey for a windbreaker. I of course thought might as well give it a shot, see what all the positive reviews were ranting about. This jacket is awesome, it really does keep you warm. I may be cold everywhere else but not my arms and core. The coral glow is very bright but no less beautiful. I love the omni-heat technology, it really works! December 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Small and light I first bought a Mighty Lite III three years ago. The sizing was changed, even though the jacket is still named the same. I ordered an XL, like the jacket I already have but it was smaller. So I looked at the Plus sizes and found that Columbia charges $20 more for 1X plus that is actually sized SMALLER than the XL. And the measurements of Plus are not proportional. The product was changed but NOT IMPROVED. Very disappointed. December 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Mighty Lite III Lite Womens jacket Well I tried 2 jackets. They are not made for women with hips. Too narrow around the bottom of the jacket. December 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warmest light jacket ever! I am so warm in this jacket that I actually wear tank tops under it! I actually can roll my window down for cold fresh air when driving because I'm always very warm! I should have ordered a medium because I'm a small but I love this jacket because it keeps me super warm. November 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great coat! I have this jacket in black and the harbor blue. Just note that the blue is more of a purple-ish/royal blue than what it looks online. Very pretty color. I love how it is so light and easy to move in, yet so WARM. I usually wear an extra-small in clothes, but I got the small so I could wear sweaters under it and because my arms are a little long for my size. It fits great! It's slightly big on me through the waist, but it's cut well enough that it doesn't look boxy. The sleeve length is perfect! I'm fighting the urge to buy this coat in every color! November 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Fall Jacket Very light weight and keeps me warm while I walk the dogs. On colder days, around 40 or so, you can really feel the wind. If this was a wind stopper as well, I would have given it a 5. It also runs a bit tight in the hips but overall, it's a nice fall jacket. November 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pretty Blue This jacket is awesome! It fits me true to size and i am already wearing it:) I'm so happy with my purchase. It is lightweight and thin but the thermal heat keeps me very warm. October 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Jacket Love this coat!! Very warm without the bulk. I purchased a red one a couple of years ago--still in great shape--just wanted a different color. Glad it's still available! October 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sizing? Omni-Heat? I've read a lot of reviews because of all the sizing comments. I looked at the sizing chart and it stated I would be a medium. I ran down to my local REI and tried on both the M and the L. I find the jacket to fit true to size, if not a tad loose. I typically wear a M in tops and the M Columbia jacket fit great. I have had a Columbia snow jacket with Onmi-Heat for 3 years and I can attest to the claims that the technology keeps you warmer. September 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great travel coat The coat itself is good quality, light weight, the cuff features a thumb hole so no wind can go up sleeves, zips easily, and nice high collar keeps the heat in and wind and cold out. It is nice because it is so light and easy to move around in. Not bulky like most coats. Love the reflective lining! It does keep you nice and warm. The Cons are the sizing. I bought a Med., and Large because of the mixed reviews on the sizing. I am 5'4" and 157lbs with broad shoulders and size C bra. The Med. was too tight across my chest to zip up. The large was perfect except for I was wearing a t-shirt when I tried it on. If I had on a sweater or hoodie the coat could have been too constricting all over. I had my daughter-in-law try them on. She has an hourglass figure with size D bra. She usually wears a Med. and she too liked the large size fit but felt the same way (if she was wearing a thicker shirt the coat would have been too small all over. I would say if your not a slim build or have a larger chest size go with at least a large or X large size. I was disappointed I had to send the coats back and reorder. It was on sale and I got it at a great price but the shipping (you have to pay to ship the items back out of your own pocket) cost me more than what I saved in the sale price. Wish this company gave its customers a prepaid label. August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Jacket I got this jacket right at the beginning of February. I ended up wearing it during the coldest months this year. It was lite weight, yet very warm. I should note that it took a little while for the jacket to warm up as it reflects your body heat back to you so I might feel cold when I first went outside. I ordered the xsmall because after having tried on the small in a store I realized that it was too big on me even if I wore a sweater under. I am very slim and the jacket doesn't have a slim enough cut for me to be comfortable in the body with a small. I really love the jacket. I got a bright blue and I'm so happy I decided not to get black. In the winter having a little color is a good thing. I recommend this jacket. June 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good looking, but not very warm. I bought the white jacket and its indeed smart. But its not warm enough. I stay in New Jersey and it was a cold winter for us this year. And even with the heat reflective technology and down fill this jacket did not serve the purpose. Its only good for temperatures in 30s... April 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product exceeded my expectations ! I was skeptical when the jacket arrived it was truly lite weight,me being a cold person thought this will never keep me warm, all I can say is columbia has done it again.... March 25, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Would not recommend this product for long term cold exposure Overall I would say I love this jacket. The fit was perfect, and the blue color is absolutely beautiful. I have received so many compliments on this jacket. My only complaint about this purchase is that is it not as warm as what I was led to believe. This jacket is fine to wear outside in the winter if you are going from the car to the store and will not be exposed to the elements for a long period of time, however I would not be able to wear this jacket in the wind and snow for very long before I was cold. Overall, a great purchase and I am happy with it, but would not recommend this product for somebody who spends a lot of time outdoors in the cold weather. March 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by mid weight plus more I purchased this jacket for my wife to replace a worn out one that she wears nearly every day. She is not outside for extended periods and does not need a jacket to handle extreme conditions, but with temperatures routinely in the single digits she needs something that will keep her warm for around 20 minutes without being too bulky. This jacket has been perfect, it is lighter and warmer than the one it replaced and has held up to general abuse very well during this unseasonably cold winter. March 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light and warm I have nothing bad to say about this jacket. It is VERY warm considering how light it is. I can't stand thick, puffy coats and I was only wearing my heavy coat when it was super cold out. It would have to be below 25. Otherwise I wore a lighter jacket and was always chilly. This jacket has not disappointed me yet, even with the polar vortex stuff going on here in the North East right now. I don't know if I would go hiking in sub zero in it, but for everyday it is great. One day it was in the mid thirties and I had a sweater on under the jacket and it actually was too much. Sizing wise, I usually am a women's MD and I got a LG in this because the shoulders were a little snug. Plenty of length in the arms, plenty of body room, just a little snug in the shoulders. February 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by my wife is always cold! This jacket is lite. She now wears it around the house, out on the patio, every car trip, and so on. It was a great purchase for me as I can turn the heat down and stop sweating. February 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Amazingly warm I have the longer version of this coat and I loved it so much I bought the shorter one. When I first bought this I was a little uncertain about its warmth because it is so light and thin, but it has definitely delivered. My only complaint is that the zippers aren't the same quality of my other columbia goods and the insulation peeks out once in a while so I have to trim it. Any concerns of mine are negligible compared to how much I enjoy this product. If only it was waterproof... February 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love It I love this. It is very warm but very light weight. The color is even prettier in person also.. February 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this jacket This is had been a great buy. It does run a little small. I would have gone with a S but after reading the reviews I went with a M and it was perfect. It's light weight yet warm even in 20 degree weather. I can pack it in my purse or carry on so it's perfect or for travelling. February 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Women's Lite Jacket Love the lightweightness of the jacket and the blue color is gorgeous. Jacket seems to do a very good job keeping me warm in temps between 20 degrees and 0 degrees. Will need to do more layering if it gets colder. Had to get large size to ensure it closed over my hips. Usually wear size 6 or 8 pants. So sleeves are too long and I had to roll them over (about 4 inches). Not sure why the jacket is sized this way. Fortunately the shoulders are not unacceptably too wide. Would definitely recommend this jacket if you are looking for a lightweight, stylish winter coverup that does well in pretty cold temperature. February 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by pleasantly surprised I was looking for a winter coat that was very warm (for COLD Michigan winters) but one that didn't make me look like the Michelin Man. I was worried that because this coat is so light and thin that perhaps it would not be warm. I was SO wrong. I learned a good lesson...you do NOT need to have a thick puffy coat to be a toasty warm coat. I'm very happy with this purchase. I recently had to be outside in zero degrees for about 20 minutes and I was not cold at all! I read that these coats run small and they do. You must order a size or two larger than you normally would but that's my only complaint. The sleeves are nice & long. There is a cuff inside the sleeve with a thumb hole. It has a nice cut & stitching, very flattering. I hope this coat lasts a long time & Columbia keeps making this model. February 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it Very warm and I love the fit and color. I like that its not so puffy it hurts my neck. February 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the color! I live in San Diego and spend lots of time outdoors watching my kids at swim meets, I was tired of being cold! I wanted a lightweight jacket yet warm. I went with the green jacket and love the color! I am 5' 4" 125 lbs, I went with the large so I could wear a hoodie underneath. I am glad I got the large, I have plenty of room, but it isn't drowning me. So far, the jacket has kept me warm, sitting out in 50 degree weather for a couple of hours. Not sure it would keep me warm if it was colder though. February 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is comfortable, functional and attractive I was first drawn to this product because of it's appearance. It is sleek and well-tailored. I then noticed the Thermal Reflective lining and the claims made about it. Although I wouldn't use this jacket to go out for a walk on an extremely cold New England day, It is perfect for wearing when driving in the car because of the lack of bulkiness. I find that if fits quite nicely under my down jacket for lots of extra warmth when I walk outside on a particularly cold day. January 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm light weight winter coat I am very pleased with the fit and look of this jacket. I had researched light weight warm winter jackets and this coat fits the bill. We have had negative temps and I have kept warm wearing this coat. I bought an extra large to allow room for sweaters etc. it fits perfectly. I would highly recommend. (This is the first review I have ever written on a product. I feel the coat is everything it claims to be.) January 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Omni-Heat Rocks(Volcanic Rocks) My wife and I bought the Omni-heat jackets as our new skiing/snowboarding coats. The first test of these coats was in Colorado during the polar vortex which dropped temps in CO to -15'degrees, cold by anyone's standard, but extremely cold for my wife and 5 year old daughter who don't like to be cold. The coats and long underwear base layer kept toasty warm even in -15'temps. I couldn't be more happy with the new Columbia Omni-heat jackets. Warm, soft, and extremely light weight. AndI didn't feel like the little kid from "Christmas Story" that can't put his arms down!! Love this jacket!! January 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Light and warm Was skeptical when I opened the box and saw how thin it was, but quickly tried it outside and was impressed with the warmth! I love the lining and thumb holes at the wrists. Could only be better with a hood. The black is a dull black and their is a pattern that I wasn't expecting. The treads are a little frizzy but not bad. Overall, I love it. I ordered a medium because the reviews said it ran small and I usually wear a small. The medium fits fine but I think a small would have fit fine also. Sleeves are a bit long too. Have worn it in zero degree weather and stayed warm!! January 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Jacket I bought this jacket for my daughter because she liked mine so much. It is very warm and light in weight. January 26, 2014
