Women’s Mighty Lite™ III Jacket is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 190.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket I originally purchased this needing a thinner jacket for the Idaho winter. My first jacket arrived and was unfortunately ripped (it does seems that the fabric is somewhat delicate), but Columbia was wonderful about helping me get it returned and another one ordered. The second one arrived in perfect condition. I purchased the deep marine color, which is a beautiful shade of blue. I'm 5; 7" and 115lbs and small-chested and ordered an XS. It fits perfectly and it is extremely flattering, even my boyfriend commented on how nice it looks! Highly recommend this jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love it! I love this jacket! It's nice and warm without being bulky. It does run a little small, so if you are going to wear it over heavy sweaters or sweatshirts you'll want to order one size up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Loved the purple color. I asked for a smaller size thinking that it would be too big if I ask for my normal size but it was actually small, so ask for your normal size! Don't ask for a smaller size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight, yet warm jacket This jacket is very thin and lightweight, yet really warm. I love the cuff with added thumb hole. The cuff, however, is a thinner material and I already have a snag. Seriously, not a deal breaker though - just be careful. The fit is true to size (I purchased a small....5'9", 132lbs) with a nice hourglass, fitted cut. The length hits several inches below the hip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mighty best lil Jacket ever!!! Only Jacket I'll ever wear with temps 35 and above! Super light weight hardly know you have it on. Warm and toasty the best Jacket ever. I need same Jacket at car length and I give all my others away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Jacket I got this jacket because I wanted something lightweight and still kept me warm. This jacket does just that. I love it. I ordered a large because I always order a large with Columbia. I usually wear a medium but their clothes seem to work better if I get a large. If you want warmth and no bulk this is the jacket for you. I also love the color I got.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek and Comfortable I live in Upstate NY, right near Canada. It gets to be -30 during the winter months. I bought this coat with a matching base layer. I went hiking today, (15 degrees) wearing both coats. I was warm and comfortable. I'm not sure that the coat itself in our tempatures would be warm enough. I'm 5'4, 130lbs. The medium fit me just right.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits well and nice light weight Bought this for my dad who walks alot. Great warm jacket, he loves it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket! This is a great jacket! Even though it's thin it is pretty warm! The sleeve length is a little long but it is a good length to keep warm. Highly recommend this jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mighty mighty lite Great jacket not bulky and still keeps you warm on those cold Cincinnati days. Love this jacket. Have two now want one with the hood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the coat I love this coat! The color is awesome and I love how light the coat is as it feels like a jacket but is so warm I get too hot!
Date published: 2017-01-25
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Way too tight WARNING: this coat is not designed for curvy women. I read reviews saying it ran small, so I ordered up a size to an XL. The coat is uncomfortably tight across my hips and chest and it bunches up in between. Unfortunately, I will be returning it. It is a quality coat, but the fit issues make it unwearable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from impressive The Mighty Lite III performs better than I expected! I love the comfort cuffs - they prevent heat from escaping and cold from getting in and extend a bit past the wrist and provide a super thin overlap under gloves. The extra high collar stays up to protect your neck, but is easily tucked under if you need a little breeze. I read comments prior to purchase and did buy a Large instead of Medium. This did give me enough extra room for layering. It does have adequate extra length so that if you bend over it does not ride up and expose you. If I had purchased a smaller size, I don't think it would have fit over the hips w/o riding up. I was initially going to say I wish it had inner pockets, and then I found the inner security one! If I had to change anything, it would be to add a inner security pocket on the other side (a balance thing for me), make the bottom larger with a stretchy drawstring, and add a hood. On the hood issue, I wish designers would add an under cuff zipper on the neck piece and a hood zip in option. I purchased this for a mountaineering course and hoods large enough to accommodate a climbing helmet are recommended. I like this jacket enough to not return it, but I will forego another purchase of a hooded jacket and just purchase a less expensive balaclava. I love the Deep Marine color! I will re address this review at a later date if it fails to hold up to claims of being rain and stain resistant, but after a couple of weeks in my crazy life, it still looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous Jacket I actually bought this jacket about three years ago for a trip to Europe in November/December. I wanted something that would keep me warm during my trips outside and I also wanted something that wasn't bulky and that would not take up much room in my bag. This jacket delivered!!!! Don't let the light weight fool you! This jacket will keep you warm without all the bulk of a typical jacket. All three of my daughters have since purchased this jacket. This purchase was by my youngest daughter. This is a fabulous jacket and certainly a favorite of mine.....or I guess I should say OURS!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just Arrived I don't know why some of the other people are saying it runs small. I would say it's true to size or perhaps a bit big... I ordered a size small, and for reference I'm about 5'4", weigh roughly 118 and am a 32B in the bust. The overall fit is fairly loose, but the sleeves are quite long and the fit of the sleeves is too loose for my liking. Debating returning it for an x-small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket Jacket is form fitting but too tight for me. Very warm, light weight, perfect for packing and exactly what I'm looking for. Sending back to get one size up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleeves are really long I really like this jacket but the sleeves are really long and I don't have short arms. :-) The purple dahlia color is really pretty and the jacket is nicely fitted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect winter coat This jacket is amazing. It fits true to size and the omni heat is amazing. I bought this jacket for a trip to Missouri and I stayed warm in 16 degree weather. The jacket isn't bulky like most jackets of this type and it complimented my small frame. I'm 5ft 5, 116lbs. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Jacket Ever! I bought the exact same jacket in another color a couple of years ago at a department store. I used it and loved it in both Arizona and Chicago in the dead of winter. It is a perfect fit, tapered at the waist, with a high collar which when zipped eliminates the wind, has long sleeves and thumbholes to keep wrists warm. Easy to zip up or down and both WARM WARM WARM and LIGHT LIGHT LIGHT. Great zippered pockets and hidden inside pocket. Cannot say enough...it is great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket! My wife loves this jacket. The red is awesome and looks great. It has these little hand warmers with holes for thumbs, which I didn't realize and wife loved. Great gift idea for anyone... just a really nice looking, high quality product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket I bought this jacket because I wanted a jacket that was light weight but still kept you warm and toasty. Needless to say this wasn't it. The jacket ran a little small. I wear a medium and bought a large. When I tried it on I had a long sleeved thermal shirt on and it was very tight on, no wiggle room. Went outside in 40 degree weather, no wind just cold and it didn't keep me warm even with a thermal shirt on. Would love to have kept it but sorry to say I had to return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket for cold weather activities. I actually purchased this jacket for my girlfriend. I have the Mighty Lite Box Quilt jacket and she wanted something similar for herself. The "Purple Dahlia" color was on sale for $40. This color is fairly accurate to the image on the site (incorrect image color is a common problem on the Columbia website). This jacket appears to fit her well and is fairly flattering. She doesn't think the OmniHeat works as well as I do, but she still likes to wear the jacket often. As with this and my own Mighty Lite, we both agree that lightweight OmniHeat jackets like this are best for outdoor activities- where you need an outer layer that is very lightweight, allows plenty of movement, and keeps you warm during a time that you are generating a decent amount of body heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket without all the poof!! I've bought 3 of these jackets. 2 for my daughter and 1 for a gift. We live in a cold climate , daughter attends collage so warmth is important without the bulkiness . Super light weight and the colors are awesome!! I prefer the mid length just for more coverage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In love The jacket is great. I run slightly cold all the time and this Omni Heat inner lining is wonderful. I have no complaints and have been kept nice a warm. Comfortable female form fitting

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Investment I bought my first Mighty Lite jacket about 5 years ago for a summer trip to Switzerland. I needed something packable to put in my backpack on day hikes. This jacket was perfect: Packable, flattering and warm. I purchased my second jacket that winter in a snug size S to wear as a layer under my ski jacket. I wear my Mighty Lites to my kids' cross county and track meets, and to winter swim meets, as it keeps me warm from the car to the pool, and then easily smushes down into a seat cushion. It's perfect for walking the dog in fall through spring, and I also wear it indoors on chilly days, because it's so comfortable. My teenage daughter owns and loves the hooded version, and this year I'm considering purchasing the mid-length hooded jacket. I have washed and dried each of the jackets MANY times, and they still look great! I'm 5'5", 145 lbs & small-chested. The S fits snugly; the M fits very comfortably, with room for a thick sweater underneath.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome, but wrong color! I ordered this jacket in Camelia Red, but be warned, it is definitely more pink! It's a shame because I love the jacket, but am really not all about pink. Will be returning and re ordering in a different color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome This is a great little jacket for almost all seasons if you are always cold like me! I wear this jacket a lot and can even wear it under another coat in the super cold weather. Here it goes down to -25C so layers are helpful. I love, love this mighty jacket and most the omni heat products I have purchased from Columbia. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mighty Lite mighty warm Bought this for my wife. It fits her figure attractively like it shouid You can actually feel yourself warming up when you don this jacket, the Omni insulation is amazing. Other design compliment was the comfort cuffs with thumb holes, that was apparently a big deal for her. Wears it all the time now, perfect Fall jacket for Eastern Canada

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 5th One!! Every closet should have a couple of these in your favorite colors. Great wind cuffs on your wrist, easy entry pockets, good length, and overall nice coat. The medium just fits but I like to have room for winter clothes underneath so I buy large and it is perfect. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice jacket, but a little big! As the title states, it's nice, but too big. I normally take an XS, but after reading other reviews about Columbia jackets running too small, I decided to get the S. Wish I got the XS. I'm about 5'4", 110 lbs. Other than that, it's not too thick, and is a nice style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flattering Shape Love the color and shape; I am post 65, so this fit gives me a young attitude! Comfort cuffs and thumb holes are a real plus for walking the dog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Go-to Jacket For several years I have owned two of these Mighty Lite III jackets and these are definitely my GO TO jacket for fall and spring. This spring my favorite purple (Columbia color Quill) jacket got a tear in the fabric right on the front so I need to replace that one. I ordered "Nightshade" which looked purple online but I have just received it and it looks more navy blue to me in person. I can see that there is a shimmer of purple but I not really what I had in mind. I am returning but will purchase another color. One thing I noticed was that the sleeves on the jacket I received seemed to be longer and fuller between the elbow and the wrist than my older jacket. Not really crazy about that. Hoping that will not be the case with the second one I order.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wanted to love.. I wanted to love this jacket. I love the omni heat feature, it is super light and packable. The sizing was off for me though. Super tight in the shoulders and hips, i could barely zip the medium. The large zipped but was too big everywhere else. So bummed! Totally recommend this jacket if you have the right body type!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Just got my jacket. Unfortunately I am writing this review without actually getting to use it yet. It is summer. I bought for next winter. Love how lightweight it is. Glad I read the reviews. Order one size up. Runs small. It fits perfect if you order up a size. Very comfortable. Wore it around the house as soon as I got it. Feels great. Now the true test will be when it gets cold. Cant wait.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket I love this jacket. It's light weight and very warm. My mom has 1 and loves it too. I had to buy one and am so glad I did. I love the pink color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from light and warm Great Jacket. It is very light weight and super warm. Another great product from Columbia. This is an excellent layer under a rain shell or stand alone jacket when the sun is out. It's very stylish too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful spring jacket Here in NW Montana, we have a long spring season, so an appropriate jacket is a must. I have worn it in temps from 25-50 degrees and been comfortable. The stormy blue color is a pleasant change from winter's dark colors. This jacket is snug in the waist and roomy in the shoulders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely tailored and still feminine This jacket is very light and yet extremely warm. I have worn it a few times and am very comfortable in it. I am normally a size 8 and wear a small in other products, but chose large for this jacket are reading other reviews. I'm glad I did, it fits well, just a little loose which means I can wear a thicker mid layer when I am in ski country. Great buy, I am very please with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket!! I read reviews about the jacket running small and in my case that's not true I wear a medium and bought a medium it fits perfect I'm 5'8" 115 pounds small chested with long a** "monkey" arms lol I also live in Maine and been freezing out today it's a whole 5 degrees and this jacket is keeping me toasty warm way warmer than my bulky down jacket I am in love thinking of buying another in black I got ruby red and it's not red red it's a pinkish coral color it pretty definitely recommend

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I had high hopes for the warmth of this jacket but feel very let down. I cannot wear it below 35F without feeling chilly. Even with a cardigan underneath it isn't warm enough for too much below freezing. The quality and weight are fine but there is not enough warmth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lightweight Jacket I bought this to take with my on a trip to Iceland in May. I'm spending 8 days in Paris first so I have to pack for both climates. I won't have room to pack my regular Columbia convertible jacket. Super light, so warm and looks great too, I wear for casual nights out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hate the cold-Love this jacket! I am not a fan of cold weather so was looking for a thin, light weight but warm jacket. I have longer arms and was concerned about the sleeve length but was pleased that they are the perfect length -no cold wrists. The Omni heat lining works great! Thinking of investing in the boots with omni heat lining as well. I highly recommend this product. Arrived quickly and just as described.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat I have this coat in black and absolutely love it. I ordered it in the purple dahlia color thinking it looked more maroon online, it is definitely purple. It is slightly shiny purple, so I am returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazingly warm. I live in the Front Range of Colorado. This jacket is so light but extremely warm. I have worn it in rain and snow (walking to and from my car and on my daily walk), and I am not chilled at all. The extended cuff with the hand warmer that has a thumb cut out is added warmth with or without gloves. It ran about a size small so I went with the medium instead of the small.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit I tried this product on in the store and it fit perfect but the jacket had a stain on it with no others same size so i ordered it on the web but the jacket that came was way smaller than the one I tried in store :( I still want to find one but in store would be better than on line to verify fit
