Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Buy! I purchased these boots for a last minute trip to the Rockies for Spring Break. I took them out in the snow and in freezing temperatures many times during our trip and was never disappointed. They are completely waterproof and very warm. Based on other reviews, I purchased a half size up. I am a size 7.5 and purchased a size 8. I wore regular no-show socks because wool socks caused the boot to fit too tight. My feet were never cold with regular light socks. I am so glad I purchased these. I highly recommend these boots! March 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very comfortable but fits small This are great shoes, it keeps the feet warm. I wear size 8 in tennis shoes and i got 8.5 it fits fine but i wish i had picked size 9 instead to give some extra room. Otherwise they are nice shoes. March 13, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by feet cold I thought these would keep my feet warm a lot better. They managed to get cold when out in climate for a period of time. The one thing I do like is they are waterproof. March 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT VALUE! I ordered these boots a few weeks ago because of our cold winter in the Northeast. These boots will keep my feet warm and dry no matter how long I have to wait for the bus. February 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Summette III Boots Excellent Excellent They where a gift. She just love him. Her other three pair of boots are collecting dust. Thank you......... February 24, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Runs way small My wife is a 6.5, we ordered a size 8, the boot was still way too small. February 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Winter perfect I was very worried about the size of the boots and if they were going to be comfortable. I'm a 6.5 and got a 7. They are perfect, nice and warm, great for snow and rain. Hard at first but two or three uses they feel extra comfy. February 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by really warm it's light and really warm good February 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by snow boots Great look and feel. I have worn these boots in snow and slushy water. A great value and quick delivery. Tiny bit tight in shoe box but have already loosened. Would buy again. Cape Cod girl February 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 2014 the year of a VORTEX in NYC I needed boots that are warm and waterproof; my work requires me to do a lot of walking. These boots are so comfortable and warm that I actually wear them with no socks. I read the reviews which helped me greatly. I ordered a 1/2 size up. I normally wear a 6 1/2 so i ordered a 7. They fit perfect. I am very happy with these boots ; I ordered another pair as a gift for my niece. These are my second pair of Columbia boots. My first lasted me over 10 years.. Thank you Peachie 1008 NYC February 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Women’s Sierra Summette III With the abundance of snow not running short in the Midwest this year, I found myself needing to buy a new pair of boots. My last boots (Lands End) I had for about 7-8 years. I was thinking about going with them again but my husband suggested that I try Columbia as he has a pair for snow mobiling. I was a little leery about ordering them off the website because when I read the reviews about how they ran a little on the small size. I downloaded the sizing chart and measured my feet. I typically wear a 7 1/2 so I ordered the 9 as suggested by the sizing chart. They fit perfectly! And not to mention with all the snow and below zero temperatures we've had, my feet have remained warm and dry, especially working in the city and having to walk from the train. I would definitely recommend this product and I probably wont' need to by another pair of boots again for at least another 10 years! February 21, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Crazy small! I measured my feet on the online chart and came out at a size 7 even though I normally wear a 9. My feet are wide so I decided to buy a 9 just in case but when they arrived I couldn't even get my foot into them! Suffice to say - they fit NARROW. Although they appear to have room in the toe, they are very low on the bridge of the foot. That said, they're clearly awesome boots - very sturdy and hard wearing, although completely inflexible in the sole. February 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Fit Upon receiving my boots, I immediately put them on and went out to play in the snow! I was concerned about the fit due to previous reviews, yet found that they fit perfectly. I don't wear thick socks and would have gone up 1/2 a size if I did. These boots are as described, light yet warm. Love the style also, very flattering. February 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good boots for a great price I bought these on sale and they provided to be very comfortable and warm. they protect my feet from the elements. February 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love! I read the reviews on these boots before I ordered mine and they all said that they run about a size bigger than you normally wear, so I ordered a size 9 (I'm normally a size 8). They fit perfectly. They look big when I'm looking down at them on my feet, but they fit perfectly. They are so warm and yet also light weight. I love that they don't tie. They just slip right on. You can adjust the tie at the top to make it tighter or looser though. I bought these in brown and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone... I have actually! February 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very warm and comfortable, but runs small Runs small, as the other reviews state, so I ordered a 1 1/2 sizes larger than I wear and they fit perfectly. I actually ordered two pair - one for me and one for my teen daughter. We both love them! We live in Michigan - it's been below zero several times this winter and the boots have kept us very warm, and we've even gone tubing in them. They are light, comfortable, and warm. February 20, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not waste your money I wish I would have listened to the reviews. These boots are the weirdest fit....they are so tight on the top of your foot. It seems like it is a flaw in the design. I was really disappointed. I was even more disappointed that I had to pay to have them shipped back. I will never order from Columbia online again. February 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Like Them Warm, comfortable and mostly waterproof. Great deal for the sale price. I wear them all the time. February 19, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by I wanted to love these boots. I usually buy my snow boots from LL Bean, but decided to try something a little heavier duty with these boots. Pros: your feet will definitely not get wet, and the lace-up style is good for people with larger calves. Also, they're relatively attractive. Cons: these boots are heavy and look huge from the outside, and the toe box is very unyielding, so they're not very comfortable. Also, they run small - I ordered a size up to leave room for heavy socks, and can only wear them with thin socks unless I want to lose feeling in my toes. The rubber, while keeping your feet dry, will not keep them especially warm. February 19, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Too small of opening. I returned these boots, then reordered. Returned because I could not even begin to squeeze my foot into the boot. I have slim ankles and I am a narrow foot, size 9. I was stopped right when I was to slide my foot in the curved shaft area. My reorder was for 10-1/2 versus the size 9 on the first order. I could finally squeeze my foot past the shaft, but then the footpad area was too big and when walking it slide up and down on my heel. Weirdest boot I have EVER tried on. So, size? Too small in shaft. Pls put in a sturdy deep zipper! I am going to return these as soon as I dig out of the snow! February 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great affordable boots I love the look and feel of these boots. They are cute and very lightweight. They keep my feet dry and warm. The do run small, I ordered one size larger than my normal size. Upon trying them on I found that they were a bit tight across the top of the foot, but after breaking them in this is no longer an issue. I'm sure I'll get years of use out of these like all my other Columbia gear. It's a great value! February 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by GOOD BOOTS, BUT WOULDN'T PAY FULL PRICE FOR THEM I bought these boots because I was in desperate need of a pair of snow boots after the brutal winter we have been having here in NYC. At this point in the season all of the snow boots from all of the web sites and companies are sold out in normal sizes. I decided to buy these boots after I saw they were on sale 50% off the original price. I agree with the other reviewers that say they run extremely small. They also do feel a little tight in the ankles and underneath the toes, like somehow there is some type of padding or cushioning under the toes. I hope I will be able to break them in. The last pair of Columbia snow boots I bought on sale about 8 years ago started off really stiff, but eventually broke in too. I would NOT pay full price for these, but for $44 and free shipping, they are pretty good!. February 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great boots These boots are great for knocking around in the cold weather. They're a bit snug, but not enough so that I won't be wearing them. They're very warm and waterproof--a great combination for the rough winter we've been experiencing. February 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cuts the circulation off to your toes! I just got my boots today. They are very cute! But I've been wearing them around the house to break them in and I've had to take them off a few times because they literally cut the circulation off to my toes. I took the others' advice and ordered a little bigger size, but that's not really problem--the stitching is so tight--I could barely get my foot in. I like the way they look, and I really hope I can stretch them out, but we'll see. Good luck to the rest of you. February 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Returned and Disappointed I read all of the reviews and took the advice of other purchasers with regard to size and these simply did not work for me. Since I wear a size 10 it was recommended that I get a larger size and I did. While my feet were warm in the house, these boots were ill fitting and slipped incessantly. Finally, they were not as fashionable as they could have been. February 10, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Too Stiff I ordered a 6.5 which is the size I wear. The outside of the boot looked like it was a size 9 or 10, but I could not even get my foot down into the boot. The boot has absolutely no flexibility. Very disappointed. I had to pay to ship it here and I had to pay to ship it back. February 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Try on in store before buying Ordered a full size larger but still too narrow and small. Nice boot, but I am returning. February 9, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sad these did not fit I loved the look and quality of these boots but I could not even get my foot into them ... I normally wear a 9, ordered a 10, but could not get my foot past the shaft ... sad I had to return them :( January 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Have I and I and now III I loved the first version of this boot, still have them but the tread is nearly gone after 4 years of use. I have two sets of the II version, again nice boots and they do last a long time. They are warm, especially if you use plastic bags over your socks to really hold in the heat. I have circulation problems so I NEED a good, solid, light weight, WARM boot. With this boot I have no problems but get a bigger size. As with all Columbia boots, they run small. At least 1.2 size bigger or more if you can. January 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by boots are running small I read the other reviews before I ordered these boots. I like the boots and I'm glad I ordered one size larger than my actual shoe size. I ordered a 7 . They do run small. January 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Like my new boots Very light weight and warm! They run small if you have high arches, it's a bit hard to get them on if you arches are high, like mine. I can only wear very thin silk socks with them, but they are still warm. I find they have stretched out a bit over time. It would be nice if they were constructed with a little more give in the bottom part of lacing area --- elasticized laces would be better. I have found the grip to be really good on wet and icy pavement, which was a #1 priority for me. I hope they last a long time! January 5, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Women's Sierra Summette III I normally wear a size 8.5 or 9, had to get a size 10 to fit. Wore this boot for the first time today outside for 30 minutes putting some ice melt out. Temperature today was 26 degrees where I live in Illinois. My feet were ice cold! What a waste of my hard earned money! December 16, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Yuck! These boots are uncomfortable and no where near as warm as they are supposed to be. At 20 degrees my feet were numb! As I walk 3 hours a day in snow in Syracuse New York....these just won't cut it! If I hadn't worn them a couple of times and thrown away the box, they would be out of here. I am so disappointed!
