Loved the old style I currently own two of these skorts and love them. One was purchased three years ago and the second, less than two years ago. I purchase the third one to take on a cruise. I was disappointed that the sizing and length of skort had changed. The size was smaller now than in what I currently own. The length is short enough for a tennis skirt. These skorts were a stable in my summer and vacation wardrobes. Golf, luncheons, running errands, or zip lining. Please bring back old style. April 16, 2013
Skort Run true to size Other REviews suggested that I order this skirt two sizes bigger. I did this and I am swimming in it. I would not order it two sizes bigger maybe one but probably will order my true size next time. April 14, 2013
Disappointing compared to other Columbia purchases I am a very faithful Columbia customer and have purchased dozens of skorts, and both women's and men's golf/fishing shirts over several years.One skort I have that I love is the Titanium Omni shade and it seemed that the Silver Ridge was the closest that was available now. The Titanium was great fabric, no wrinkles so perfect for travel and a good length. The Silver Ridge fabric is too lightweight, wrinkles terribly and the length is not really suitable for anyone over 20 something.Bring back the Titanium so I can buy 10. January 28, 2013
Cute! I am a physical educator and bought this skort for work. The skort is light weight and keeps me cool outside all day. the inner short is stretchy and comfortable. The length is perfect for me. I am shorter (5'1") and the hem falls mid thigh - not too long and not too short. I love that I can wear this skort with a polo shirt and look professional with all the functionality of wearing shorts. I bought the green one and I also purchased the "fossil" one. August 27, 2012
It really keeps you cool I used this product on many 90 & 100 degree days and it was very helpful at keeping me cool. Of course it didn't hurt that I had an omni-freeze shirt and a fan too. I used the size chart to order the perfect size, taking into account both hips and waist. August 17, 2012
WAY YOO SMALL I read the reviews and thought going up one size would be enough. It WASN'T. I usually wear a 6 sometimes 8 when things run small. I ordered an 8 and need a 10! It is shorter than most skirts this style for the age of woman they are marketing. I love the style and concept of the skirt, but disappointed it is too tight and too short. I would recommend ordering 2 sizes larger than normal. July 26, 2012

Too Short I have purchased this style for the last few years and I love the fit. However when I tried this new skirt on is was fitting the same as a size smaller (last years size). Also it fit lower on the hip and shorter in length. Took it back. I will say that Columbia's quality is very highly durable. I love most of their stuff so this was a disappointment. July 15, 2012
Funny fit Disappointed as been searching high and low for a skort that would fit s slim body. Take the back pocket design off and make the pant version les tight like and better material for skort and you would have a winner for slim people July 12, 2012

Good product This little skort is certainly comfortable and cute. I does run a size small, so I took everyones advice and ordered a size up. I seems to run small in the waist. The hip, thighs and butt stretch out throughout the day with wear...so keep that in mind when ordering. I can't tell if the Omni Ice really does what it says and keeps you cool since I haven't had any extreme weather yet. June 7, 2012

Disappointed - Smaller sizes than last year's skort! Last year I bought a gray Columbia skort that I ADORE and wear so much! I bought 2 of this item hoping it would be comparable. I bought the exact same size as my previous Columbia skort (which fits perfectly) and this item was a LOT smaller (too tight!). Also, the length of the skort is significantly shorter which I do not like. Disappointed overall. March 14, 2012

So Disappointed ! I purchased two Silver Ridge Skorts last season in a beige color and loved them. I took them on a Greek cruise and to Italy in the hottest weather. I could dress them up with a drape neck top or wear them for hiking with a tee shirt. They were my go to skort of choice. They were unavailable in black until recently. I was so disappointed when they arrived as they are running about 2 sizes smaller than the ones I purchased last year. Same great fabric which keeps you so cool in extreme heat but alas, sized way, way differently. Please go back to your old sizing. I loved the fit and comfort of last year's garment.
