Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I usually wear medium but I ordered a size large and it is perfect. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great jacket! I am outdoors a lot, even during the rainy season and I am always looking for lightweight, waterproof jackets that can still look great even after many washes. This is another quality Columbia jacket to add to my collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits Small I always wear a Medium, but in this jacket, I definitely need a Large. It is small in every way including the sleeve length, hood coverage, and the way it fits around my body. I am 5 foot 5 and 150lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wife is very happy with this jacket. Got this for my wife and she really loves it. It fits well and looks great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this rain coat this is my second coat of this style in the last 5 years and i love them both. i particularly love the length

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Coat looks very good but the sizing is way too small. Couldn't get arms in sleeves comfortably and front didn't close. Wear L or Xl. Ordered XL and too small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this raincoat I bought this jacket to use as only a raincoat. BUT it has turnout to be my favorite coat for my winter in Nor Cal valley. The blue is very pretty. The style is very versatile. The length is tunic length, covers my back side well. It's light weight for cool-rainy days. Yet warm enough with a fleece underneath. I bought a large so I can wear a fleece under. I usually wear a medium but wanted a little extra room. I am 5'10" 140.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Feminine Rain Jacket I've been looking for a waterproof jacket that is longer in length and with a feminine fit. This is the jacket! This one has zippered pockets, including an inside breast pocket, plus a hood. The material feels good, is breathable and doesn't "make noise" like many other raincoats. The price is great too. As noted, it runs a bit small. I'm 5'5", 130 lbs with a 34D chest. I normally wear a Small, but in this jacket I needed a Medium. The sleeves are a bit long, but it otherwise fits perfect. Thanks Columbia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection This is my first time buying a Columbia jacket and definitely not the last. I bought this jacket for an upcoming backpacking trip to Scotland. I wanted something light weight that I could layer with. I've been testing it out this winter and I'm amazed at how warm it is with layers. Just wore it in 17 degree temps in Utah with just a tshirt and sweater layered and my core stayed so warm! The length is great and I love the feminine design with tapered waist and a slight flair at bottom. It has an adjustable zipper so you can still be comfortable when sitting by unzipping from bottom. I am 5'4" and about 140lbs with a bust of about 36-38" and I bought a large which has left enough room for layers without swimming in it without layers. Sleeves are a little long but I just rolled cuff and it's fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Raincoat! I bought this rain jacket to go to Ireland - it was perfect! I love the hood and adjustable cuffs. It's roomy without being too big and has a nice shape. The pockets are roomy. It really protected me against the Irish "liquid sun"!
Date published: 2016-11-28
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Order a size up if you want to layer I wanted a shell that gave me the option to layer in colder weather. I'm 5'4, 130lb and the medium was too small. I should've ordered a large. I can zip it up but it won't be comfortable to wear over layers.
Date published: 2016-11-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Splash Rain jacket I was concerned when I read reviews about it fitting slightly smaller. For me the fit was perfect. I didn't want to have extra layers so it was great! Love the colour and the length is what I was looking for. :)
Date published: 2016-11-02
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flattering design This coat is flattering but is cut for small framed women of any size. I usually wear size small tops but because of the reviews, I ordered the medium. Even with the medium the whole torso and sleeves are snug without any extra layers. I do love the coverage of this longer style and the overall effect is good looking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After 5 Years This jacket is a machine. I'm a rainwater engineer in Seattle and a daily bus commuter. I had a stiff gortex jacket before this and the lining cracked after a year or two. This jacket has held up for almost 5 years under serious use. It packs very small for camping, hiking, and airline carry-on, and sill looks sleek enough for my business meetings. I'm tall and curvy (5'9", 160lbs, 34DD, long arms) and the large fits perfectly. Not baggy on its own, but enough room for a sweater or sportcoat in the Seattle winter. Alas, the lining on the shoulders has finally bit the dust and I'm getting wet, so I am back for round 2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Rain jacket I finally found the perfect rain jacket. I'm a large and it fits perfectly. Plenty of room in the bust and hip area where others fit snugly. It's long enough to cover my backside, even when sitting. The hood is adjustable so I can get a good fit that actually stays on my head, which has been a big problem with other jackets. I really like that it has snaps and a zipper so it can be quickly closed if needed. The pockets are roomy and zip to keep my personal items safely inside. So far I have worn it a number of times in heavy rain and have stayed completely dry. Having been through a number of other inferior rain jackets, I highly recommend this jacket if you are looking for a waterproof shell. Keep in mind that it is not heavily lined so it would not work well as a winter coat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lightweight rain jacket Usually get medium, ordered lg and it fits w extra room, but still flattering. Sleeves too long, need to roll up once.(One star off) Beige color w subtle pattern very nice, coat is packable. I like that it is slightly longer in the back. Seems waterproof and breathable with limited use so far. I'm happy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good Love the shape and color. Nice weight. Keeps you warm but still feels like it breathes. I went with one size up of what I would typically wear so I can wear this jacket over a sweater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Second time I've purchased this product! My girls and I all have this jacket and it has served us all well! It keeps you dry even in a downpour and it looks great. The product 'parts' - the zipper and snaps, hood, and velcro wrists - are flexible and handy, the hood is a great addition and helps keep rain off your neck - we all love our jackets!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cut funny I wear a 10. I ordered a large which was supposed to be for a 12-14. I am normally proportioned and this product is too tight in the chest and armholes. It is not "cut" properly. If I were reordering, I would order an Extra Large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect in Every Way! Light enough, right length, can adjust sleeves, hood stays on & material is soft (can't believe it's waterproof)!! Just tested in constant mist & held up well without umbrella. I usually use coupons so cost was a concern, however, I am very very pleased! Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my needs! I love this jacket. It's exactly what I had in mind when I began shopping for the item! However, I was surprised to find it ran so small that in order to layer a sweater I had to move from my normal sizing of "medium/12" to extra large in this garment. Only negative is the length of the sleeves; for average build one needs to cuff or have altered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy Only Columbia Jackets Love your jackets. I only buy Columbia. They are comfortable and waterproof. Moving from Chicago, I gave away all my other jackets I had. I love the inside security pocket. I always look for that feature and that's the jacket I buy. Keep up the good work. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain jacket Ordered this online, and wore it on a visit to Seattle. It kept me dry and fits very nicely. The only issue I have, is the zipper gets stuck a little.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Native Oregonian Being a native Oregonian I am used to the rainy weather. This coat was great because it has plenty of pockets, arm length longer (and I prefer that), feminine fit...LOVE that! Love the hood and that it can be adjusted, length is perfect. Purchased a large so that I could layer and even without layers it doesn't look like I'm wearing my husbands too large ski jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from raincoat My friend has this exact coat and I loved the way it fit and looked. It will be a great addition to the Columbia jackets I already own. Perfect for the rainy weather and lightweight enough for spring/fall weather. I really like the longer length, which gives better coverage in inclement weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this jacket A great lightweight rain jacket! I recently moved to the Pacific NW, so needless to say I was in need of a high-quality, waterproof jacket. I've worn this out in the rain a few times and it is completely waterproof. It's very lightweight but can easily accommodate a sweater if it's a little chilly out. The hood also completely covers your face which is great. I usually wear a small (5'4", 115lbs) and the small fit really well. The bottom seems a little tighter around the legs than is common, but I went on a pretty long hike and had no issues going up and down hills.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT for real rain! Living in the upper left corner of Oregon and spending lots of outdoor time in all seasons, I would love to find a breathable raincoat. This isn't it. Soaks through the shoulders after 20 minutes and EVERYWHERE after a longer time. Love the design and the cut; the quality is fine, and it will get you across a parking lot or two but don't count on it for the trail.
Date published: 2016-01-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too short for rain! Legs still get wet Columbia, why in heavens don't you make longer raincoats for women? We don't like to get our legs wet above the knees! This definitely keeps the elements out as far and wind and rain, and the hood is very functional but please make some more longer lengths! And yes, be sure to go up a size if you have normal hips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortably dry all day! I read some of the other reviews before purchasing this product and wondered if I would have some of the same problems (zipper difficulty, hood having no cinch so it would fall when windy). Not at all! The zipper can be a little fickle but I appreciate that you can unzip from the bottom for comfort when sitting. Additionally, the cinch and Velcro adjustment in the hood is perfect; there's even a little brim to help keep drips out of your face. It's lightweight so very easily stowed away into a larger purse or bag. That being said, I did go up one size so that I could layer underneath for warmth if needed. But, it doesn't end up being too baggy without layers because it has somewhat of a more feminine shape than just straight down like men's wear. I love the pocket placement and the little one on the inside. I have stayed completely dry during record rainfall in Portland, OR. The only thing I find myself wishing it had at times are zippered armpit vents as rain gear can get a little muggy on the inside. Thank you :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect rain jacket light, comfy, modern fit. love the way the jacket fits. I use it as a commuter jacket
Date published: 2015-12-23
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice light-weight jacket The color is beautiful and the fit is small like the other reviews say. I also ordered this jacket in the cream and moss in a size small because I wasn't sure what size/color my daughter would like. She is a size 2/4 and 5'7". I was afraid the medium would be too big but I think it is going to be the right size. The big difference between the small and medium is the length, which was a positive. The zipper on this particular jacket was hard to get started; however, the other two jackets connect and zip easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Jacket This is the perfect all around rain jacket. Its long enough to cover most of my clothing.
Date published: 2015-12-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous rain jacket! Look no farther for a great rain jacket...this one is the best...a little longer length keeps you covered and fashionably dry in wet weather. The fabric is smooth and comfy...nice style with big pockets to hold whatever you need. The hood is big enough to keep you covered. I love this jacket so bought it in the rich blue colour and in the white/grey print so I am all set for spring and fall use! The jacket is slightly fitted which looks stylish so that is why I mentioned it fits small...no problem because it has style for a rain jacket and doesnt look like a bag. I have had lots of nice compliments when wearing this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I decided to buy this raincoat so I could do like the PNWers and forgo an umbrella in the rain in NYC. This jacket is very light weight so I can wear it in the occasional summer rain, plus there is a bit of room to layer for cooler temps. The material is awesome and keeps me dry. I typically wear a medium and sometimes large (I'm 5'6" chest 36C 150 lbs) but I'm pear shaped and my hips don't lie so I went with a large like recommended and the fit is great. I still have room on top but no problems zipping the jacket over my hips. Awesome product overall!
Date published: 2015-12-11
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Waterproof This jacket is advertised as waterproof. It is not. I'm native to the PNW and live in Portland, OR. This jacket is unable to stand up to a 20 minute commute out in the fall rain let alone a few hours hiking outside. If you're looking to stay dry, I would recommend you spend your money on another product. If you're buying this jacket because it's cute and it occasionally sprinkles where you live, it'll suit you well.
Date published: 2015-12-07
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish and packable I ordered this jacket to wear while traveling since it can roll up and fit inside my purse when I'm not wearing it. The material is breathable do you don't get as hot as with other rain jackets. I like that the sleeves have velcro so you can adjust at the wrist for extra warmth. The fit is cute so I didn't feel out-of-place in trendy Tokyo. I didn't have issues layering over another jacket. However, despite the positives, rain seems to seep through the jacket if it's doing more than sprinkling out. The hood does not have a cinch for your face and therefore has to be held in place or it blows backward. As other reviewers have stated, the zipper is tricky every time and is impossible to do while walking. I guess you can't have it all, but I still like this jacket!
Date published: 2015-12-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Great length, waterproof, beautiful purple. I get so many compliments on this jacket. My two qualms however, hood could stand to cover the face more, still get pelleted in the face with the rain. The zipper can sometimes cause me trouble and I give up at that moment and use the buttons.....feature better than Velcro
Date published: 2015-11-28
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not your ordinary-looking rain jacket! This coat does run pretty small. I would normally wear a large and have room for layers underneath but with this one I got the extra large, and have room for only a light vest. I really like the pattern and color (blue) and that it has a feminine shape. It seems waterproof so far. The only drawback for me is that the hood isn't removable or able to be folded into the collar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rain Proof Under Review Still need to put this jacket to the full rain test but I love the look and fit. It was rain proof in a drizzle. Bring it on PNW weather!
Date published: 2015-11-18
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like it but runs small In all of my other Columbia coats I wear a Large but with this coat even the XL is snug.
Date published: 2015-11-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great raincoat Good looking raincoat. Lightweight and easy to travel with. Very packable. Shoulders run a little tight. I normally wear an XS, but had to take a S in this product. However, liked it so much I'm ordering one for my mother.
Date published: 2015-11-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket if you wear it with a tshirt I was so excited when I ordered this jacket especially given the weather on the east coast. I opened the box and tried on the jacket. It fit like it belonged to my godchild. It was tight in the shoulders and there is no way that I could have worn a blouse or sweater underneath. I call the Sony store in NYC to get a bigger size but they have it. I had to reorder and return. Which is a huge inconvenience and I won't get the credit for the shipping fee. I'm not sure if I will order on line again

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Little It's very good but it runs a little small.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not at all waterproof All the tags and labels called this jacket waterproof. It was water proof for maybe the first 5 mins of light rain, then it leaked all the way through, and I was soaked for the rest of the day. Unfortunately I really didn't test it in the rain until 2 months after I bought it, so I couldn't return it. I regret buying this jacket and would return if I could. Its was such a bummer because the fit is so nice.
Date published: 2015-09-16
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not waterproof I bought this jacket this spring to wear during the cooler summer days. I wear this jacket all the time and it is very comfy and breathable. However this jacket is not waterproof. Even in light rain water seeps through at the shoulders and leaves you soaked as if you weren't even wearing a jacket. I am very disappointed as I love the fit of this jacket but it is dry impractical because it does not keep me dry whatsoever.
Date published: 2015-09-12
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have in wardrobe I love every part of this jacket. Kept me dry while commuting to work and class. The adjustable hood prevents it from blowing off in the wind which was key for me. It's a longer length and will cover your bum but is not so long that it is overwhelming. Fits amazingly. Note that it is fitted at the waist. I find the fit flattering but still roomy enough to layer underneath. It is also thin enough that I often layer this under a lighter, spring jacket. Zip up pockets prevents your phone/keys from getting wet. Truly no complaints. Staple in my wardrobe that I would gladly pay full price for. I am rather petite and it is often difficult to find jackets that fit all over.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Water resistant, not waterproof There are many things I like about this rain jacket-- the long length is practical, it's lightweight and portable, and the bright color (hibiscus) is great for visibility. I got a size up (I usually wear a small, bought a medium)in order to fit a sweater or jacket beneath it. Works great as a windbreaker for cold/windy weather. I searched through many options from many brands before choosing this rain jacket for my work. Unfortunately, I just got back from a camping trip in which I was able to "test" my intended use for the jacket-- mild rain, and walking through wet vegetation. I was wearing a light jacket and t-shirt beneath the raincoat, and both of them were wet after about an hour. The rain soaked through the raincoat, through the jacket beneath it, all the way to my tshirt. The raincoat failed to perform its intended function completely.
Date published: 2015-04-07
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Jacket fits like a dress shirt This jacket is a very lightweight rain jacket which would lead you to believe you can wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath it on a rainy day. I read some reviews and sized up one size and the jacket still fit me more like a dress shirt. The only thing that would fit underneath it would be a bra. I had to send it back and they won't even pay the return shipping even though it is clearly their fault. I'm normally not a complainer but this is ridiculous. I am now totally unimpressed with Columbia. I used to think of quality when I thought of them but not anymore. Now it's just cheap garbage like everything else. They have lost a customer!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing raincoat I appreciate those who share reviews, good and bad. Hope this one is beneficial. Previous reviews stated this raincoat ran small, so I ordered a sized up to a Medium. I wear a small. Nevertheless, the medium was too small; its sizing compared to XS (returned it). Needing a coat roomy for layering, I ordered the XL, which fit nicely, not too big-a neat look. Upset about ordering the larger size, I took exact measurements. This XL is actually Medium sizing…so beware; this coat really runs slim - due to style or incorrect sizing (?). The sleeves are slim for layering but okay; they’re long and adjustable-Velcro or turned up (2 inch hem gives a neat appearance). Hood has great coverage. Contrary to reviews, the two-way zipper works fine (give a quick glance to align the tracks). Guaranteed rainproof, I tested its limits for cold/wind on a southern 8-degree, 20 mph windy day. Layering with a long-sleeved shirt, silk sweater, and fleece jacket, the coat did fairly well (not toasty warm but didn’t freeze either). NOW the cons! The coat (black) seemed to be a magnet for all dust, lint, airborne particles, none of which just brushed off. This is unacceptable for me, my job, and required travels. Also, there was a hole in the left pocket seam due to faulty sewing. Coat has crinkling sound and it wrinkles. I didn’t mind the used packing box, but it was barely taped together and parts of the garment hung out. Folks, returns are so costly and having to return this second coat due to sizing, poor quality and workmanship is frustrating. My first purchases with Columbia were so very disappointing that they’ve lost a customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice looking style This rain jacket fits well and looks good. It is just the right length to keep you dry. The zipper from the bottom helps you to sit in the car and then zip up for walking. I totally recommend this jacket. Love having a hood also. The weight is good for packing in a suitcase. It takes up hardly any space and is real handy. Add a sweater underneath for warmth if needed.
