Rated 5 out of 5 by A gift for your mother-in-law better be great... A gift for your mother-in-law better be great and it was. She loves this rain jacket, says it's everything she wanted and then some. Her first remark was, "it's gorgeous." and wears it anytime it even looks like rain... March 20, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great jacket but runs small Jacket is nice and aesthetically pleasing. Just runs a little snug so recommend possibly ordering 1 size up. February 25, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Rain Jacket I love this jacket. The fit is super cute and fitted, which is nice in a jacket. I got it to replace a one that I had from about 6 years ago and I did notice that this one is shorter and more fitted. I still ended up with the same size but it fits a little tighter. For reference I'm 5'6, 125 and wear an XS. It's my go to jacket in the rain here in Portland January 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great styling but very small Taking my cue from other reviewers, I decided to order both a medium and a large, even though I usually wear a medium in Columbia clothing. I could hardly get the medium zipped, over a medium-weight top. (I am 5'4", 130 pounds, with a 38" chest and 39" hips.) I kept the large, which fits fine, although the sleeves are long, not a big problem with the velcro closures. I like the shaping at the waist, a more feminine touch. The back of the coat is curved and lower than the front, great if you have to sit on something wet. Returning the medium cost me $11.55 USPS. Luckily, the coat was on sale, and I had my birthday coupon from Columbia, so it was worth it to get the right fit. January 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great all year! I bought mine slightly larger than needed so I can layer in the winter but it is fitted enough to wear in the spring (and into the Oregon summer) through the rain season. I love the olive color and subtle print because I needed something "neutral" but not black. January 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very beautifull The fabric design and color is very beautifull, the lentgh is perect and keeps me warm and for rain is very good, Don't have any problem in a rain day, the size is small, I think is almost one size small October 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect rain coat Dry, wind and water proof, fits just right and covers my butt and no else wears this color September 19, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not at all waterproof All the tags and labels called this jacket waterproof. It was water proof for maybe the first 5 mins of light rain, then it leaked all the way through, and I was soaked for the rest of the day. Unfortunately I really didn't test it in the rain until 2 months after I bought it, so I couldn't return it. I regret buying this jacket and would return if I could. Its was such a bummer because the fit is so nice. September 16, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not waterproof I bought this jacket this spring to wear during the cooler summer days. I wear this jacket all the time and it is very comfy and breathable. However this jacket is not waterproof. Even in light rain water seeps through at the shoulders and leaves you soaked as if you weren't even wearing a jacket. I am very disappointed as I love the fit of this jacket but it is dry impractical because it does not keep me dry whatsoever. September 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by For the rain Product Exelent ! the best for the rain, and practical for your bag . August 20, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by rain jacket Loved the color, but your arms needs to be extremely long or you need to be a monkey. August 12, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not that waterproof. I loved the fit of this jacket (got a medium instead of a small so I could layer underneath), and I could deal with the highlighter-red color (at least it would be good for visibility while biking), but the first time I wore it in the rain I got all wet underneath. I think the material successfully kept the water out for maybe the first hour I was outside, but I need a raincoat that's more waterproof than that. Had to send it back. Columbia customer service was very nice about the return. I also agree with what the other reviewer said, that the zipper was pretty difficult to work. July 7, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Soooo not waterproof :-( I bought this jacket as it was one of the few these days that still has a two-way zipper, and the back comes down a wee bit longer which would make it perfect for horseriding or riding a bike, or being active. First time I wore it was at a music festival where it poured. The only place dry by the time I went home was my head and shoulder area, and that was from my umbrella! Soaked right through to my skin everywhere, else including my back. Good thing the store took it back! Wondered if it was a bad batch as the person accompanying me wore their older Columbia with the same 'type' of waterproofing category and they stayed dry. I so had wished it was waterproof as I loved it in every other respect! October 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Length Yes! Zipper No! As anyone vertically challenged can tell you, jackets tend to be too long and overwhelm their frames. I am no exception. I am 4'11", 110 lbs. This jacket however hits me at mid-thigh, exactly the length I was looking for. It covers my bum and proved itself waterproof during a recent rainy football game. It is tailored to a female body so you don't look like you're wearing a man's jacket or a sack. However as other reviewers have said, the zipper is tempermental. If you don't line the double zipper heads up exactly, it will not zip up. Fortunately, it has buttons which I perfer most of the time. I normally wear size 2 and small. I picked up a small in the navy. There is a pattern that takes this jacket from ho hum to wow. $90 is a fair price for this jacket based on quality. However I subtracted a bar due to the zipper. You definitely want to get this on sale or clearance. At that price it is a steal. You won't be disappointed. September 2, 2014
