Rated 3 out of 5 by Decent jacket I was really unsure about this coat since it was slightly too large on the arms, but decided to keep it since the exchange policy is " buy a new one and return the old one" that seemed like a lot of shipping to pay. Within the first week the pocket zippers fell off the track, once again I made the decision to keep it and wear it anyways since the pocket zippers don't effect the function of the coat. I have been wearing it on rainy cool days and for the occasional winter day when I'm driving and don't want my full winter coat. I would say overall it's a decent jacket it has kept me warm and dry, but for the price I would expect a much higher quality product and I would feel much better about ordering from this website if they had a better exchange/return policy. Rated 2 out of 5 by Didn't fit at all Loved the feel of the coat, and it was the type of thing I was looking for, but the fit was atypical for a Columbia product. I usually wear a Large in this brand, but this coat runs really big and had no shape - just huge. Returned it. May 12, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by WRINKLED MESS Very comfortable coat - BUT....after committing to the purchase and taking the tags off - I immediately washed and dried and still have a wrinkled coat. Sitting creates even more wrinkles. The way the coat hangs lower in the back is kind of strange which I would over look if it weren't for all the wrinkles. January 29, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by weather heaven I would have gave this jacket 5 stars if it wasn't for the colour. It's listed as treadwinds grey and looks a medium shape of grey in the picture but got it, it's more of a light blue colour and the inside trim is the colour of medium grey. Besides that it's very warm and comfortable. January 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Most useful coat I own This coat is great for travel, hiking, shopping as well as for church. It is light weight ,yet very warm and comfortable. I hope to get many years of wear from it. January 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This longer jacket was so functional for every occasion. This is my main jacket to wear for day and evening outings. It keeps me warm in the wind and dry in the rain, yet it doesn't feel heavy. The hood fits really well. I like the zippered pockets so my gloves don't get lost. January 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for the Cold and Damp My Wife tells me that this jacket is both warm and light weight. The wind does not blow through it and it keeps out the cold. "It also covers the small of the back and my butt." January 24, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Soft shell says it all. I bought this based on another reviewer who said it kept her warm on the chilliest of days! But the description "soft shell" says it all. I debated on returning this jacket because I was really looking for something warmer. Since there is plenty of room for adding layers I kept it. I like the style. The hood seems ornamental or functions for a light rain, don't expect it to keep the winter chill out or for it to stay on your head on a windy day. I would love a jacket just like this in a thermalish 5-20 degree version. January 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by fallon I like this coat very much but not as warm as a review from NY city wrote. I have to wear a sweater for upstate NY weather other wise perfect. It was recommended to go to the next size great except sleeves are a little long. January 22, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not a Winter Coat It would have been helpful if there was a weather rating system. I got the impression from another review that it would be good for Wibter use. It will be a great coat for transitional weather heading into Spring or into Winter. January 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fabulous Coat I bought this coat for my daughter and she loves it. I have seen it on her several times and it looks great on her. Nice length and the lines of the coat are beautiful. The material is beautiful. Recommend highly! January 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I LOVE my new coat!! Fabric has a great feel, very flexible, tough but soft feel, and is not too heavy, not too light in weight. The hood stays out of the way, not bulky or annoying when sitting in a car or plane seat. The extra length gives this a very classy look with either pants or a dress. The sewn in belt in back gives this a feminine look, and the front pockets are deep enough to hold my phone and a pair of light gloves without fear of losing either. Love the two way zipper because you can get easy cooling, or adjust them to sit comfortably in a car seat. I am a size 14 (D cup) and the XL fits neatly over a long sleeve shirt or knit top with a thin sleeveless down or fleece vest. Thank you Columbia! This is a well designed jacket for practical use, but looks very upscale. January 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing jacket/coat My first Columbia purchase, and I am very pleased with it! This is definitely a steal on sale, and it's perfect for wet spring/wet fall weather. A little too light and insulated for winter wear. The XS fits great, if a little roomy in the shoulders. I can still wear a light sweater underneath with no problem. Perfect length, too! Rated 5 out of 5 by First Coat Purchased from Columbia I love my coat. I live in New York and lately the weather has been crazy. This coat has kept me warm on the coldest days. I will definitely be making future purchases from Columbia. You guys rock!!! December 4, 2014
