Rated 4 out of 5 by Great coat, very warm! This coat kept me very warm during the below zero midwest temps! Only issue I have with any Columbia coat or jacket I have purchased was the zipper always not wanting to go up. Great color too! Whatever size you normally purchase, I would go a size larger. Glad I did. March 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous, warm coat We are planning a vacation to a much colder climate. Since we live in the rainy Northwest, I wanted a coat that would be warm for my vacation, but one that I could wear during the wet Seattle winters. This beautiful coat was exactly what I needed. It is warm. I love the longer length as it keeps my legs and knees warm. The many pockets allow for storing gloves and tissues. The fur lined hood is so warm and beautiful. I bought this coat on sale, so I saved $50. Even without the sale, the price was very reasonable. It is machine washable. I can't wait until next winter to wear it again! February 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by perfectly fit Very nice color and true water proof shell. The size XS fits me so well. Great coat to wear in winter January 26, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Really junky. This coat looked cute. But it has almost no down filling in it. It isn't warm. But the worst part is that the zipper is plastic & junky. I'm returning it. It's not Columbias normal excellent quality. January 25, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by This product has great features I love the color, I love the style and fit. It is roomy it is comfortable it keeps me very warm January 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great For Windy City I needed a new coat for the winter here in chicago, and as you all know it gets cold! I normally wear a large in my coats, but i wanted this one to last another winter if possible, so i got an x-large and it fits perfect. The sleeves are not too long and it is long enough, i am 5"7 so i wanted to make sure it was long enough. The only thing I don't like is the hood I wish it was a drawstring , but other than that it's great. Its waterproof for real too. January 16, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cute but lacks warmth This is a cute long puffy but fails in the warmth department. It keeps me warm at temps above 35 January 6, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Zipper Problems! Janky Fur! I love Columbia gear. I have several vests, fleece jackets, and coats. This is the only product that I have been underwhelmed with. First the coat was much a much lighter weight than what I expected. Even with the down, I don't think this would be good in subzero weather. The fur on the hood is thin, scraggly, and inexpensive looking. The biggest aggravation is the zipper. It is hard as heck to zip and unzip. A couple of times I had to step out of it because I couldn't get the zipper to completely unzip all the way. I had to choose another coat yesterday because I was in a hurry and didn't have time to zip it up. I could live with the fur and the weight if the darn zipper would work properly. As stated in previous reviews, this coat runs a bit small. I'd say it's about 1/2 size smaller. I am normally a medium but went up to a large and I am happy with the fit. December 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great warm jacket I'm 5'11", 145lbs, 36A normally wearing size S and this jacket fits just wonderfully. It hits slightly above the knee and has a feminine look without being too tight while still having room for a sweater for colder days. Red color looks awesome - it has a slight purple tint and subtle pattern that makes the color look deeper and more interesting than plain red. I'm very pleased with the quality of the water- and wind-resistant fabric, my previous Columbia jacket did not handle rain this well. But the best part is the sleeves: they are long! It doesn't happen too often in winter jackets for me, so I am very happy. The hood is as warm as the jacket itself, it looks and fits nicely and is easily detachable. There is a couple of drawbacks, but I don't see them as big problems. First, feathers seem to be coming out here and there, but not too much. I noticed some small feathers in the seams on the outside of the jacket, but so far haven't found any on my clothes when I take it off. I guess with 60/40% down to feather composition some of this is to be expected. Second, I won't be using the waist drawstring on the inside because it sits way above my natural waistline, but I think it will fit shorter ladies just fine. And the last one, when I first unpacked the jacket, the faux fur trim on the hood looked so bad that I considered cutting it off and replacing it with fur trim from my older jacket. It is not detachable, so that would require some sewing. Later I decided to give it a chance and brushed it thoroughly with one of my dog's grooming brushes, and it worked. The trim still doesn't look like it stalked buffalos in the wild, but looks fluffy and decent enough to wear. December 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by It keeps you warm This coat keeps you warm. I love the length, it reaches under my knee. It is super light than i thought. The color is brighten than i expected, it is not like pomegranate red, towards pinkish and inside of the coat is purple. I love this combination. December 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great coat for the city cold I needed a longer coat because I'm terrified of te cold. This is the perfect length. I've only worn it in 30+ weather, but it's very warm with a thin layer. I bought it in white and my mother was appalled because I have a 2 year old. The coating on it does make it stain resistant. But the color itself is interesting. It is a white with a greyish pattern. That part I'm not crazy about. That, and it's super difficult to wash. It takes forever to dry and smells a bit like goose afterwards. December 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice!! I love my new coat! I thought it would fit a little tight but it fits just right ! The color is soooo pretty! December 18, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Coat The coat runs small the color on the hood and the coat clash, purple lining and red coat. December 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Coat size Hello my daughter loves this coat the only thing was I was trying to get a bigger size and went back on the website and the sizes where gone and took it to the store didn't have the same coat but I was told if I change it I would pay more even only if the price change but other wise the coat is pretty and she loves Columbia products and would buy again. December 16, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor sizing Ordered this jacket in small did not fit...sent back and ordered a medium did not fit...spouse isx 120 lbs shouldn't have to order a large horrible sizing December 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by This product keeps you warm! I was intrigued by the seemingly minimal amount of down fill insulation in this coat, but am highly impressed with the warmth. I also think that the coat is brighter than I expected, but having the stain resistant barrier adds a little more assurance, although I'm still careful and tend to be a little more cautious about brushing up against anything. Rated 5 out of 5 by Loved it but will exchange Great winter coat. Loved the length, however in the seas alt there was only a small left. We ordered it (because comments said it ran small)...but still too big for my niece. She stated the small was still about 5 inches too big around the waste. Yes, she's a skinny & tall. Bought it for Wisconsin winter! Still loved the feminine look. Was a much lighter weight than we thought so we're glad it wasn't a super bulky coat! We've ordered the grey in xs so we'll be back to write another review. December 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome I bought this design in two colors. Both of them are asesome. And the length is great and it is super light but super warm. I usually wear M in other cloth but this jacket needs to buy L size. December 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Coat I'm about 5'6", 180lbs, 40DD. I purchased an XL, and it fits beautifully, and is very elegant looking (I purchased the Sea Salt and Tweed color). There's an adjustable elastic "cincher" located on the interior of the coat, both at the waist (to help tuck the waist in a bit to give more of an hourglass shape) and also at the bottom of the coat around the knees. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase! December 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice coat, way to big for medium. I usually wear size 6-8 but this coat was too large for me so I have to return it. Otherwise, pretty and warm coat for amazing price! Color is true to picture. December 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Jacket This Jacket fits me snug. I am 5 '7' and 140lbs, and when i wear this ,it reaches till my knee. Colour is more towards pinkish-not dark ruby red like pomegranate. The zip is a bit cumbersome-not a dealbreaker for me. Overall happy. Cant wait to see how it performs in Boston winters!! December 8, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Fur collar The fur collar ruins the appearance of the coat. If it could be removed I would keep the coat . But it is attached to the hood and I'll be returning the coat . Very disappointed , I have many Columbia jackets and have always found them to be of excellent guality. November 28, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Zipper problems I really liked the fit and look of this coat. Except for the fur on the hood, I wish it were detachable. The fur looks very cheap and sticks out in all directions without having any shape. I was going to keep the coat despite that, however, every time I put it on, the zipper would get stuck in various places (mostly on the bottom). This is going back mostly for that reason. Rated 5 out of 5 by Classy looking winter coat Great coat for a mid weight coat. Seriously doubt it would be warm enough in below freezing weather. Nice lines. Does not bell at the bottom like most down coats. The sleeves are "very" long. I have long arms and these are at least 2 inches too long. The hood is nice and big. Not too wide but comes out enough to really protect your face. The fur though is really funny. Looks like a scarred porcupine. Fur sticks out every which way. I even tried to comb it. The overall fit is small. I wear a 10/12 dress, I am 5'6", 135 lbs, 38" bust. The medium was way too small. Couldn't zip it up. The large was so much bigger that the lines that usually go over your bust were about an 1 1/2" to the outside of where they should be. But I have looked everywhere for a coat and this is the best I can find. Overall quality is really good. October 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very warm I am 5'9" 200 lbs. size 14, 36DD. I ordered this in an XL. It fits perfectly. It is definitely snug but not too snug. I can move and sit while zipped. It does have a dual zipper to adjust from bottom or top. If you are very "hippy" this my not be for you. This coat is also long. Even at 5'9" it hits just above my knees. Perfect for cold winter mornings in scrubs. I love that I can cinch the waist on the inside to give myself shape. As for the color, I ordered the pomegranate and I was expecting a more red color as the picture shows but it is more of pinky-red. I still love it though. I have two other columbia coats and they hold up very well. I can't wait to try this out on a good cold day! October 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by return and reordered i look forward to winter so i can wear my new coat. i had to return to get bigger size got my new coat quickly and as I said am looking forward to winter October 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best coat for a great price Love love love it! Sizing is off a bit I think - because of the measurements, I purchased a small but after receiving it - I realized that I needed the xs - but most of the items I purchase from Columbia tend to run a bit large. I am approximately 113lbs. If you buy this coat you won't be sorry - I bought it and I live in Florida, lol (needed it for travel to colder climates) October 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the coat I purchased this coat for myself and I was very pleased with the coat the only thing is that the feathers keep coming out. Otherwise the coat has a perfect fit and look and warmth are all that I had expected. April 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Coat for Brutal MI Winter I bought this coat in February and didn't expect to be wearing it for another month! Living in MI, I have many down coats, but this year I bought tall winter boots & wanted a long coat so my entire leg would be sheltered from the wind & extreme cold. It was longer on me than the model. I'm 5'4" & it hits about 6" inches below my knee. I'm sure the model in the ad was much taller. Also, I have long arms and the sleeves were still a bit long, but I'd much rather have them too long than too short. Worked out great for driving & bending my arms & still being covered. Also, like the top & bottom zip feature. I could unzip the bottom a bit to get in & out of my car easily. My favorite feature is the faux fur inside the collar area. That really kept my neck & face warm without even using a scarf. I was happy to find this coat so late in the season & it's gotten a lot of use. March 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Exactly what I was looking for... I have been searching for a long length down coat for awhile. Found this online and after reading other reviews decided to make the purchase. I was not disappointed. This coat has a great fit I am 5'7" 140lbs and bought a medium..perfect size !! Doesn't make you look overweight like other puffer style coats. It has a pull cord inside if you want to cinch your waist more. It's been a very cold winter ..this keeps me very warm with only a light weight sweater underneath. I would highly recommend this to you if your looking for a sporty down coat. If I could make one suggestion to Columbia perhaps add a snap closure secondary feature to the coat since this is a 'zipper only". Other than that no complaints !!! March 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Awe man!! I was so excited to receive this coat and to my surprise I was disappointed with the performance of the coat. First, I purchased an XL thinking it was going to be a perfect fit and to my surprise it fit thight around the hips. And that was going up a size. I wore my coat yesterday in 17 degree weather and it just didn't keep me that warm. The coat is really cute but as far as keeping you toasty warm the performance was not there for me. I own jackets from other down manufactures and when I wear them I never feel cold. When I wore this coat I was not warm. The hood and trim fur are well made and attractive and that kept me warm but the coat itself, the warmth was just NOT there. They may need to add more Down or something, but for my taste it's too light for 17 degree weather and below. I would recommend it because it is cute and I intend to keep my purchase, but they need to make it thicker. And PS if your are a size 18 don't buy this coat because it will not fit. February 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Get it while you can! I just received this jacket in the mail and I am very happy with the product. I am 5'2 130lbs and I got the small. It's a tiny bit big but there is plenty of room to wear a sweatshirt under it and move my arms. The jacket falls below my knees. I haven't worn it in extreme temperatures yet wearing it around the house it is warm. I would recommend this jacket, it is worth every penny. February 27, 2014
