lightweight, comfortable and perfect for travel I am 5'4" and 135 pounds. I usually wear a size 10, but my chest is a bit big, so I ordered an XL. This vest is perfect even in Florida on cold days (which are very few). I play tennis and this is perfect on top of a long-sleeved shirt. I would have preferred black, but blue vapor was only color available. I still love this color as it brightens up any outfit combination. It is a bit longer than most Columbia vests, but it is okay. I love the lightweight and it will be easily packable for trips. April 17, 2013

Fantastic Vest I haven't had much of a chance to use the vest yet, but so far I love it. The fit is just what I had hoped: the length is perfect - not too short where I feel a draft when it's windy and not too long where I look like I need to be taller to fit it correctly (I'm 5'4). It has a flattering, slim fit - it's not poofy, but I know it has enough insulation to keep me warm. In most clothing, I am between an XS and a S. Based on the measurements provided, I went with the XS and am very happy with that. The small would be too roomy through the body because I have enough room for a layer or two underneath the vest as it is. April 9, 2013
This vest rocks!!! If you are looking for a comfortable, fashionable layering piece for those colder days when you don't feel like wearing a jacket, this is the vest for you! I purchased this vest as a gift for one of my friends as I have a similar version for myself in the men's style. It has Omni-Heat thermal reflective and keeps you 20% warmer, without all of the bulk. Also, don't be afraid of the lighter colors as this vest is Omni-Shield which repels light rain AND stains!!! Amazing product...I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed!!! April 2, 2013
Toasty Really love this vest, it is comfortable and warm and fits true to size. I think I could have probably gone with a long sleeve jacket instead, as I'm not used to wearing vests at all, but I layer it under a softshell and there's no problem keeping my core toasty warm (arms are chilly though - of course). I overheat pretty fast indoors if I'm wearing this.The length of the vest is fantastic - it comes down nice and far. I love that Columbia is generous in sleeve and torso lengths so you are not pulling it down to cover your backside.The collar comes up a bit high. With the collar up, my neck stays nice and warm right up to my chin. I feel a bit like I need a cape and some pointy teeth, though. March 30, 2013
Nice Change From Black This is a nice subtle blue. I usually wear all black, so I'm trying new colors. I ordered the XL, it fits perfect.Fabric is very soft and rolls tight...does not wrinkle. This is the first time I purchased Omni Heat...not a puffy vest-like some. I'm 5 feet 6 inches, 150 lbs and need extra room in the bust area. Zipper action is nice with one interior zipper with pocket near the upper chest...zipper pockets that are large. Quality is excellent. March 25, 2013
Great vest I saw this vest skiing in mammoth only it was 150 dollars because it had mammoth on it, checked the columbia site and there it was on sale for much less and a cool color. The vest is a awesome product. Everyone should think about grtting one. Especially since they are so versatile. Layering starts with a vest. March 16, 2013

Great vest for everything This vest is great! I own two different colors and love both.The blue is a soft pretty color. Function is great light weight but very warm. I like how it doesn't make you Look like a marshmallow like down vest do. I walk four miles a day and wear this as my jacket with your omni tech fleece in WI.Great price also got it on sale. A "must have" item This is a very lightweight vest. The pockets have zippers to secure items such as cell phones & money. I ordered a black vest & true to color. This vest is easy to drive in. The armholes are generous & comfortable to wear over sweaters. Add this to your wardrobe! March 5, 2013

Pleasantly surprised This vest is great! Before purchasing I was thinking Omni-heat was simply a hype-filled marketing technique. Not so! This vest is light weight, slim but incredibly warm. Wonderfully versitile & comfortable, perfect for our Minneapolis fluctuating temps. I have received tons of compliments & everybody asks where I bought it. And yes, it makes me look skinny. Perfect light weight vest! I RARELY write online reviews, but was inspired to do so after receiving this vest today in both black and sea salt (white). I LOVE THEM! I live in Denver where winter months are sunny, mid to high 40s. I'm a stay at home mom who lives in black yoga pants, half- zip collared long-sleeve high performance long sleeve shirts, and down vests. I was looking for something light, no bulk and love the new "packable down" concept. I''m 5-10", 132 lbs, and usually wear a size 4 - 6 small in tops. I purcahsed this vest in small and it fits great & I appreciate the longer length. This vest adds that extra layer that makes your sporty outfit look complete. Also, I play a lot of tennis & this light weight vest will work well in the cool fall/spring months when playing outdoors is a bit chilly. Good for golf, too! Please offer in carnation pink & red! Consider making an inch smaller around the waist for a slightly more femine cut. Otherwise, perfect in every way! I'm looking forward to buying more of these if the color is right, don't really dig all the dark jewel tones....sorry. February 7, 2013
Light weight and warm I got this to wear indoors at work so I don't have to wear a jacket all day. The fit is a tad big. I am 5.5 and 130 lbs and got a small but I think the extra small would be to little. I can wear a shirt and hoodie underneath if need be. Excellent product! Very nice...and tight! I love this vest. I'm allergic to down, so I'm grateful to have a warm vest without down. I do feel it runs small, like all other Columbia products I've tried. I read the reviews first and so many people said this one did NOT run small, that I went ahead and ordered my regular size. It's quite snug, and I'm still deciding about that. Also I can see what looks like a tiny amount of stuffing emerging from the seams. Probably nothing to worry about, but it gives it a less neat appearance. I love the high collar--it's nice and warm against the cold wind. Overall I like it, but it's not totally perfect. Next time I'd order a size up. January 14, 2013

Love This Vest I looked for something warm but not bulky. This is a real find! I live in the Northwest and walk about 6 miles a day with my dog. We have lots of wind-- making winter temps feel lots colder. The vest works perfectly over a sweater--or if it's raining--under a rain shell. Can't beat it!Plus--it's attractive; although a little large on me--even over a sweater. Columbia often runs small---this didn't. I may order one in Small. November 28, 2012

Great alternative to Down Wow! This vest is wonderful. I am allergic to Down so it's difficult to find a warm vest that's not made from feather. I wasn't sure what to expect with "omni-heat" but thought it was worth trying. I wore this into work today and usually turn on a space heater because it's so chilly in the building. I haven't taken the vest off as it keeps the chill out of my body and I haven't needed the space heater at all. This is great! I highly recommend this vest.I purchased a Large because I'm busty and it zips up just fine. I find this very true to size. I purchased this in Black, but definitely going to order one if another color. October 8, 2012
Best Vest Out There I already owned a previous version of this vest, so I knew I liked it. But this seasons model is even better. It fits a little on the big side - I have room for a hoodie or pullover under it, which is a huge plus! I've already worn it for iceskating, work, and going around town and it holds up great. I've even caught it on something a few times and it didn't tear! The center back length says its only 25" but it fits longer than my first one (which is also 25"). Another big plus for me because I have a long upper body. Overall I'm extremely satisfied. I've already recommended it to others and bought another one as a gift! September 26, 2012

How to measure
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
