I like that it looks like a coat that you could wear with nice clothes as well as serving a purpose for the outdoors. I bought this for my son for next year while it was on sale and I am excited for him to be able to use it! Only giving 4stars because the fabric of the Columbia coats seems a little less durable than others I’ve gotten. My son had this coat for three days and went sledding and got a small hole in it where it scraped the ice on a seam (he was belly sledding and I think the bottom edge just dragged). Easy for me to patch but I wish they made the fabric thicker and more durable on the “high friction” spots like the elbows, knees, cuffs, and around the zippers. Otherwise I’m pleased with it.

I would not lie about a company or a product. My review was not promised to be positive. They just requested I write it for a chance to win something- no biggie or anything unethical here!!! So, on with it: We had a very cold wind chill in Chicago and my son said he was hot in this coat! He will not need to be layering so much with this one, just grab and go. Yay! It's a great price for a very warm coat that is not bulky. The coat is cuter on. I wasn't really sure I liked it when I ordered it but we needed it and it looks really great!!! The pockets are a great two entry bonus. You can store stuff in the top entrance and rest your hands in the side slots---super!!! Thanks, Columbia! :)
