Rated 5 out of 5 by Shellbell1946 from Love this jacket My son loves this jacket! There are no complaints when he is asked to wear this jacket. He gladly puts it on. It fits him so well. He out grew his last winter jacket so we started wearing this at the end of last season. It keeps him warm even at a parade with temperatures in the 20's. He didn't complain once about being cold. We are loving the Omnishield! It is an amazing product and well worth the price! I plan to purchase more jackets for my family!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Melanie8675309 from Perfect coat had to order a size up My 9 year old loves this coat! I had to exchange the small for a medium as the small ran smaller than the description. The Medium was perfect and not to thick but keeps him warm!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MidwestMom84 from Thin but warm! Our winter has lasted far longer than we’d like, but I’m so pleased with this coat for my 8 1/2 year old. His previous Columbia coat’s zipper broke and the company was so helpful in getting us set up with a new one. This coat appears very thin, but my son comments on how warm it is and how much he loves it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mary10 from Great jacket for active boy! My son needed a new jacket. He says this is very warm and not bulky Ike his old jacket was. I would tell any parent who has an active child to purchase this... you won’t be disappointed. We live in upstate NY and it keeps my son warm and still able to do the activities he loves!

Rated 5 out of 5 by OakenJim from Great jacket I bought this for my 11 year old son. He definitely likes it and it seems to be good quality. The hood is great because it has elastic inside that allows it to fit snuggly. You do need a liner if it is in the 30s or less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy37 from Great jacket We live in a cold climate and this jacket keeps my son warm. I was worried when I opened it because it was so thin. However my son wore it that night while snowboarding in 5 degree weather and said he was “roasting”. The Omni heat works great. It fits very well. It is long enough so the snow doesn’t go up his back and the arms are the perfect length. Our son is a little guy so we weren’t sure on what size to order for him. He is 9yrs old, 68 pounds, and 4.5 feet tall. We ordered the medium it fit perfect with room to grow for next year. We will be ordering more jackets for our other kids.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Emma07 from Great jacket not too bulky I bought this for my 8 year old son. It is lightweight but warm enough for the winter. Great quality and a has a hood that won’t fly off. Looks better in person than in the pictures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AdWil from Great jacket for the price This is a jacket I bought for my son. I love the fact that the sleeves can be extended as he grows to get several seasons of wear out of it. As always, Columbia products hold up great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Shmoopie99 from So thin and light In all fairness, this has not been put to the test yet as we've had very mild temps since its arrival. The jacket is super light and thin and I'm anxious to hear what my son thinks of it in cold weather. The fit seems true to size and the jacket is well constructed.
