Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for our needs We use this on our 3-6 month old son when we go walking. He is either in the carrier or his stroller. We don’t like to go out when it is below -12C. This snowsuit has kept my son warm on our outings. When It is a cooler day I use the fleece snowtop bunting for added warmth however on the more mild days my son is warm enough with a fleece sleeper and a sweater under the snowsuit. My son is very comfortable in this suit and I like knowing he will be warm on our outings. The hood had a nice fleece lining making it comfortable to have up over his head. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best winter gear for toddlers! We just came from a recent winter adventure at Ski Apache, and my grandson had a great time frolicking in the snow all day long at the ski resort. The Columbia Frosty Freeze Fleece Bunting kept him warm and dry as he enjoyed his first ever winter adventure. ‘Will definitely get more Columbia gears and apparels for my Family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Winter Item My little one runs on the small size so we went a size down. The suit is warm, keeps her dry, and she happily wears it for sledding, outdoor walks, and playing in the snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sizing My daughter is 8 1/2 months and has been wearing 9 month clothes (carters) for a while. She is around 18 pounds (I think) and at her 6 month appt measured 26 1/2 inches long. I ordered the 6-12 month size because a lot of reviews said it runs large. With the flaps pulled over her feet, it seemed like this was going to get too short quickly, but otherwise fit pretty well, true to size even, maybe slightly roomy. I was concerned that she would outgrow the length in our long New England winter, I need to get use of it through April, and with it being so hard to find small boots that can be walked in, I really wanted to keep her feet covered by the fold over flap. I initiated a return and ordered the next size up 12-18. When that arrived, it was HUGE! I wish there was an in between size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and toasty! We ordered the 6-12 month for my 6 month old and the sleeves and feet fold over with a little room to spare. (He's close to 100th percentile for length.) It's been perfect for our cold rainy morning dog walks and keeps him warm and happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Baby Snowsuit Bought the snowsuit for my daughter who is 6 months old and it not only fits but is very comfortable and warm. Plenty of room for her to grow into it and the quality of material is better then many i have come across. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This suit changed my life My daughter is a small to average size 14 mo baby and the size 18-24mo is perfect for giving her the space she needs to crall around. I'm new at dealing w two kids in the winter and I have to say the flaps are a wonderful time saver, no need to worry about clipping on mittens or boots that fall off (she just keeps her Padraigs so once at daycare her footwear is already on) So glad I bought this, was looking for a used suit with flaps but didn't find any so I splurged on a new one. Worth every penny. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Snowsuit This snowsuit fits our needs perfectly. I bought it for my 1 year old daughter to replace our previous Columbia snowsuit that she had outgrown. The size runs a bit large but should get us through the winter just fine. The hood provides great head coverage and I love how I can close the hands and feet off to keep them even warmer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quality product There are lots of snowsuits that are furrier, cuter, more stylish... but if your intent is to truly keep you child warm and comfortable while they enjoy the outdoors, this is the definitely the way to go. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good suit Nice suit good quality. Much thinner than I imagined but has kept my daughter warm at -7c (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not fleece lined to boot I am disappointed with this product. The description says it is fleece lined to boot, which is not true. Only the torso and hood is fleece lined. I bought the snuggly bunny suit first and returned it because I didn’t think it was warm enough. This product is not much better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Haven’t used yet, but, We haven’t had a chance to use this snow suit yet but based on reviews I ordered. The purple color is gorgeous. The snow suit itself is a slippery material, and the upper body feels warm inside to touch. The legs however doesn’t feel like it would be warm in our harsh Newfoundland winters. I’ll be interested to see if it actually keeps my child warm enough. Reviews make me feel that the look of the material is deceiving and it’ll keep her warm and toasty. My child wears 12-18 month clothes, comfortably, but she is short, the snow suit is a little long in the legs and fits great in the body. It will allow a warm base layer to be worn underneath. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps babies warm and toasty! Colombia never disappoints with their products! Keeps babies warm and dry during a North Eastern winter. Had to buy two suits to cover a 5 month old to be able to wear through a NYC winter. Wish Colombia would change their sizing to include a 6-9 month size... to big of a size range in the 6-12 month size (huge for a 6 month sized baby).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm and cozy I love this product is easy to wash and it dry so fast and not to mention the color which I love. Also is very warm cozy don't need to put layer under the jacket since is very warm. The only small thing about its that is slippery, if your baby already walks is fine but if your baby still needs to be carry around then u are going to find it hard to keep your baby in your arms. besides that I would recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Frosty Freeze Bunting We loved it. Great quality. Runs a little big and the only difficulty we saw with it was that the arms don't have a wrist Velcro for tightening so the baby's hands kept going into the suit which he didn't like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT! First time buyer of anything Columbia. I bought this, online, for my son for his first snowsuit. I was drawn to the design and color. I don't like "baby" patterns and designs. Took a chance and ordered it. When it arrived I was amazed at the flexibility of the material and the softness and comfort feeling. Tried it on him immediately and it looks great! A bit more than I would of liked to have paid, especially since he will only get one season out of it, but my expectations are high!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love hate relationship I purchased this bunting in October 2014 and had a love hate relationship with it. Its super warm and has some great features, but some really annoying issues. It would be a 5, but I subtracted a star for each issue. The AWESOME: - I had my 11 month old son outside on a blue bird 8F day (no wind) for two hours and he was warm and toasty. - The inside body is lined with a soft furry fleece, but the arms and legs are not, so legs and arms are slippery and easy to get on. - The hood is a perfect size for a hat. - My son loved it and would get super excited when I'd take it out to go outside - It is really cute on, much cuter than picture - Down-free so I could wash as much as I wanted - The two times I used it in the car, it compressed well in the car seat, though it is very warm for car trips - Price can't be beat for warmth The Bad... - The sizing was crazy. I ordered the bunting for my then 8 month old son (10th percentile in length and weight, wore 6 mo clothes until 10 months). I first ordered the 12/18 month bunting and it was rediculously HUGE, I sent it back and ordered the 6/12 month bunting and it barely fit my son in leg length, all other dimensions were fine. I also ordered the 6/12 mo snuggly bunny bunting for car rides and that was a full 1" longer in the leg inseam. I suspect the frosty freeze I received was cut incorrectly? My son grew out of the foot cuffs at 11 months and I had to find snow booties...not an easy task. - The insulation provides the water protection. The exterior material was slippery when dry, but would get pretty saturated when my son played in the snow on 17F+ days. Not a big issue in areas with insulation. However, the hand and foot cuffs are not insulated. My son's hands and feet were soaked under the cuffs. Especially since the legs were super short. If you have a crawler or walker, you definitely need snow booties and gloves, the cuffs don't cut it. -The exterior material was not super durable. The foot cuffs have holes scuffed through them (again probably the result of the too short leg length and layering socks before I found booties). There are also a couple rips in the back of the bunting from my son walking in it and rubbing up against something. I would have expected a more robust exterior material for a baby/ toddler bunting. This was our family's third Columbia snowsuit. I'd definitely buy Columbia again, just not sure about anything with the satin-y exterior for little ones. No matter the issues, this suit was warm enough for an 11 mo old to play outside for 2 hours on an 8F day. I'm not sure how many other products on the market are that warm for such a little one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frosty Freeze™ Bunting – Infant The Frosty Freeze is great, it is like a sleeping bag for kids that they can wear. Very comfortable, great quality, and functional. I would recommend getting one of these for sure if you are bringing any kids outdoors in the winter time!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as Expected Material was very light and I didn't feel baby would be warm enough in cold weather. Looks nice, but not insulated enough. I was surprised coming from Columbia winter wear. Unfortunately, I returned it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute appearance but poor material and design This winter coat is very cute in terms of the appearance. True product looks better on the baby compare to the picture on the website. However, the quality of the material is a bit disappointing and the technical design is really not very remarkable. First of all, the outer material is way too soft and slippery. Once you put the coat on the baby, it makes it hard to grab. It is very dangerous to try to hold your baby using one arm since it'll intend to slip off your arm. Also it will slide easily on inclined stroller or child seat. Second of all, the zipper is designed rather poorly. Each time you try to zip up the coat, you must do it in extreme care and in a very slow manner since it jams the inner material easily and the zipper will get stuck. In terms of comfort and warmth for the baby, I think this product is fair. My baby stays cozy inside and I believe it can stand -15 to -20 Celsius.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bear Suit! I bought it for 5 months old son. My family loves outdoors. We take my son for a walk twice everyday since he was 2 weeks old. My wife call it "Bear suite" , yes literally it is. My son loves it and is very happy to wear this everytime we go out. We went on day hiking in 24F ! it kept him warm!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and Toasty Great insulation, but I wish the flaps over the hands and feet were insulated. Definitely need some warm socks or booties inside to keep the toes warm!
