Men’s Alpine Traverse™ Jacket is rated out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by IndoorEnthusiast from My new favorite jacket I bought this in size L (6'4" tall) and it fits perfectly. It's very lightweight yet keep surprisingly warm even in sub-zero temperatures. I've worn this in weather down to -10 Celsius and was not feeling the cold. The collar is tight enough to keep you warm without restricting movement. The only thing missing is a third pocket but other than that it's my go-to jacket for all but the coldest days. Rated 5 out of 5 by DocBrown from Great jacket This jacket is lightweight and not too bulky. It's very warm considering how thin it is. Very breathable. Great jacket for everyday use. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by JoseVK from Best Purchase Ever! You will not going to believe how this technology inside the jacket work. I am still very warm in under 45 degree in SLC, Utah spring/fall. This is wroth to purchase if you hate having to put two or three lay of jacket to stay warm. If you like light, warm and easy to maintenance this you will not regret it. Thank You Columbia for awesome jacket. I will definitely buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Retief from Light and Warm I recently tried out this light jacket on an early 30°F morning here in New Hampshire, on a 2-mile walk with the dogs; winds were calm. With a long sleeve waffle-weave shirt underneath, it kept me warm. With wind, I'd probably add another layer and I'd be just fine. At 5'9" and154 lbs the Large fit slightly loose, with room for another layer if I wanted; it works well either way!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tom221 from No insulation on the back Loved the carbon color and style but had to return due to no insulation on the back or sides. It is not stated in the description. Definitely buy it if the jacket has full insulation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by redoctober57 from Won me over I was looking for light weight, breathable and reasonably insulated jacket for my trip to NY. It's normally hard to find all 3 features in one jacket. Just when I was going to give up, Columbia's Alpine Traverse caught my eyes because the Polartec Alpha technology makes all 3 features possible. Fast forward: the jacket delivered in NYC 56 degree light rain. The one drawback: I have to put on an extra REI shell jacket to break the wind while on Liberty Island. Still, I wholeheartedly recommend this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DHK52 from Bought as a replacement My favorite Coulmbia jacket that the zipper failed was replaced by this jacket. (FYI Columbia was great in handling a warranty credit) First review of this jacket is spot on. This jacket is comfortable for a light weight jacket and you forget it is on. Really have enjoyed this purchase from day one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ruchus from Comfort I was skeptical at first due to the price, but after i received the jacket i fell in love with it. This is my go to jacket. It may come off as a thin jacket, but don't let that fool you. This jacket will keep you warm. This is one of those jackets you do not want to take off and you will catch your self wearing it all hours of the day and forgotten you even have it on. I do recommend buying one size bigger as to it is tighter in the stomach area. Overall Columbia knocked it out of the park with this one.
