Men’s Bugaboo™ Interchange Jacket - Tall is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 58.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tall-Sized Snow Jacket I bought this jacket for my 6’6” husband, who typically wears 2XLT sized shirts and jackets. This jacket fits him a little loosely, but that should be fine to accommodate layering for warmth. He hasn’t had the opportunuty to try it in cold weather yet, but will use this jacket for a winter trip to Canada.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Looking Coat, Can't wait to wear it! Ordered MEN’S BUGABOO™ INTERCHANGE JACKET - TALL. Looks great! I am 6'6" and weigh 205 pounds so I need the extra length without all the extra size. I wavered back and forth between the L and XL but ultimately settled on the Large. I think it will work fine but I do wish I had an extra inch in the sleeves and in the overall length. But I can't wait to try it out when it gets cold here in Central PA!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sports ware for Tall People I love Columbia clothing because they make it for me, a Tall Man! Styles and selection across the board are available in Tall sizes. This jacket has ample room for my broad shoulders, is long enough to keep me dry while hiking in the PNW Rain Forest and the sleeves go beyond my wrists. Columbia offers more Tall choices than UA, North Face, REI, Patagonia and more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Purchase! My husband took me on a birthday trip to Niagara Falls the first weekend in May. As we were approaching the date, I kept checking the weather and realized that it would be 20-30 degrees below normal temperatures, wind advisories, and record breaking rain with possible sleet - the entire weekend. So, I began the hunt for a legitimate heavy rain jacket. We're from Georgia and honestly don't spend much time that kind of weather. When it's cold, we try to stay in doors and keep our time outside to a minimum. I searched high and low and settled on this jacket for him and the women's version for myself. This jacket is AMAZING! It kept out body dry & WARM when we took the tunnel tours, whitewater rapid boardwalk tours and on the boat ride in Niagara Falls (our faces for wet because that's all that was exposed). This jacket is 100% waterproof and 100% windproof. We each kept the fleece zipped in and we never once got sweaty or too hot which hopping on a off the bus and walking around the city. My husband is 6' 4" and 270 lbs. I got him a 2XT. He told me that this is his favorite jacket. His arm length is 38"-39" and the sleeves are long enough too! I really appreciate how Columbia get gave me the option to buy 2X Tall as opposed to 2X Big & Tall. Best money I ever spent on a jacket like this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat I bought this coat to wear in a cold, northern climate. I was a bit worried about the reviews regarding warmth, but there weren't many options in tall sizes. It's been perfect. I love how thin and light weight it is, and have never been cold, despite numerous very cold, windy winter days (-25 to 30 degrees C). (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2nd Bugaboo What a great jacket. It's my second go-around on this style and it did not disappoint. I'm 6'6" 265 lbs and I bought the 2X-Tall. I feel like it's just a bit long. The inside solar panel works well. I just wish they attached a outlet cable to charge my cell phone when I'm out and about. Come on R&D...lets get that done!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as warm as I had hoped Jacket is well made but liner is very thin and I am skeptical about the metallic liner. Not as warm as I had hoped and does not compare to my previous Columbia ski jacket which I had for over 10 years. The zipper broke on my old jacket and Columbia credited me with a very fair amount so this jacket was essentially free. With that said the liner should be thicker and I feel the cold especially in the sleeves. I also wish the hood had some insulation. Its basically a rain hood, very thin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from overall a good jacket I ordered this as a real cold weather jacket. it arrived in a padded envelope so I was surprised at how thin it is. I haven't worn it in really cold weather yet, so I cant really tell you yet, but on the one not so cold day I wore it, I wasn't exactly heating up in it. I am somewhere between a 3xlt and a 2xlt and this seems big all around. the jacket has a zipped in liner like a fleece and the sleeves on the fleece are longer than the coat sleeves and just a button holds them in place. it's a fine jacket, but so far I am not thinking, wow great jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bugaboo 2 I first bought a bugaboo about 14 years ago and wore it to a trip in Canada the first week I had it. It was miserable the second day I was there , but the coat kept the elements out and my heat in. Last mont my zipper on the outer shell broke, I called and Columbia stood by their product warranty. I have the new version of the bugaboo and let me tell you, the quality still retains the Columbia name. This jacket is light, warm and does not restrict arm movement. Great job! Thank you Joe

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Super thin Been a Columbia family for years. These new styles do not hold up to the old Columbia standard. This is NOT a coat to wear walking in the middle of winter in downtown Chicago. It is thin and has little tinfoil dots on the inside that are suppose to reflect the heat back into you. Great theory, but walk a mile down Wacker Drive along the river when its 0 outside with 30 MPH wind gusts and this coat will not keep you warm. Its a cute coat if you drive everywhere and need to jump in and out of a car. Spend anytime at all outside and this coat will not keep you warm. For warmth, nothing beats my old XLT DOUBLE WHAMMY coat. I miss that coat and the quality that Columbia use to stand for with those older styles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from PRODUCT IS NOT ALL IT APPEARS TO BE I purchased this winter Coat for the purpose of buying a Winter Coat... Pretty straight forward, I was excited to receive it and it was going to be right in time for the Cold Front coming through here in the midwest, I have 2 issues with the product: 1ST -What I am upset over is the hood, there's nothing to it, you have to tuck it in on both sides and awkwardly velcro it to keep it on and even worse, there's no padding to keep your head warm, a Coat designed for Winter, should have a hood that's designed for a Winter Coat, NOT a Wind Breaker. Second, I'm upset about the advertising on the website, it does not reflect the inner lining of the coat looks like a 70's disco ball. I understand that this is a material used to keep people warm but the fact that it does not let you know when you purchase it... IS REDICULOUS! So I am returning it, because much to my dismay of not having a coat to keep me warm for a few more weeks IN IOWA! -If I'm spending money on a coat, I want a hood that can assist keeping me warm and that I don't have to awkwardly tuck in each side and velcro. I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT THIS IF COLUMBIA REFLECTED IN THERE ADVERTISING, THAT THE INSIDE LOOKS MORE LIKE A DISCO BALL, RATHER THAN A PROFESSIONAL INTERIOR I WAS LEAD TO BELIEVE I'D RECEIVE FROM COLUMBIA!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drawstring adjustable waist! New season Item description said drawcord adjustable waist for three months. I was excited that Columbia brought back the drawstring adjustable waist on the Bugaboo jacket from years past. I ordered a jacket and it came with the drawcord adjustable hem. Columbia was good and took the jacket back since it didn't match the item description, but I could never get an answer if there was actually a Bugaboo jacket this season with a Drawcord adjustable waist. The description was changed a few days ago. It seemed that no one I talked to was old enough to remember the drawstring adjustable waist on the Bugaboo jacket from 7-10 years ago. With the new retro jackets from the eighties from Columbia it made sense to me that the drawstring adjustable waist was brought back because it is more practicle for an active lifestyle in heavy snow! I get an average of 300 inches of snow a year where I live. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit is excellent Purchased this jacket for my son who is 6'5 as he normally complains that the sleeves do not fit on most jackets and he was freezing after he moved to Colorado from Texas. This jacket fit him perfectly and has kept him warm and cuts the wind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Right on Time I ordered this jacket right before the big snowstorm, and it was expected to arrive after it hit. Much to my surprise it arrived earlier than expected and for me it was right on time. I have been warmed by the jacket when the temp outside was the lowest I have experience since moving back up north from Fl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good deal Jacket is a good fit and I love that it has a detachable inner layer. It's very warm but I've never sweated in it. I'm 6'3" and wear 36"-37" sleeves. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the inside of the inner layer. The "thermal reflectivity" looks like I'm going to a 70s disco club. I've worn it all together and each piece separately and the feature description of the product is spot on. Best jacket I own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just What I Wanted Besides the "Disco" interior which some might think too flashy, when the jacket is open... This is a solid jacket, with everything I was looking for. My last Columbia Jacket lasted 15 years before I replaced it... This one is an improvement on that one, in many ways... Looks much classier than last one though... Went shear black, and purchased a bright safety vest to put on top, when needed, outdoors, instead of buying a bright color. Now I have a good blend in coat, and a way to stand out when life is depending on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still amazing quality after all these year I think I got my first Bugaboo jacket for snowboarding back in the mid to late 80's and the jacket preformed beyond expectations. I just ordered another one (I have had others in the meantime) in black XXL Tall. I am 6'6" with a 50-52" chest This jacket fits really well and the warmth factor is awesome. Beyond happy with my new jacket!!!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy with Purchase I purchased this for my husband for Christmas in the blue color. He is very hard to shop for as he is 6ft 9inch and coats are always too short on sleeves. This fits him great, sleeve length 39 which is just right for him, excellent quality, great price managed to get on sale too. Very happy with purchase. I ordered a 3XLT he may have got away with having one size smaller however still a good fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! Works great for my needs.. Keeps me warm in all climates and I don't get that "overheated" feeling.. Had it for over a year now.. Worth it..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coat I love this jacket and it is very practical. The zip out liner is a great jacket in itself. The inside of the liner is very comfortable and doesn't grab your clothing when you put it on and off. It is super warm without the weight or bulk. In the rain it is the perfect jacket as well. At 6'3" with 37inch sleeves it is more than adequate. Great look, great feel, waterproof and warm, what more can you ask of a coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YukonGold This is a replacement jacket which lasted over 15 years. This new jacket is slightly lighter however just as warm. Have been walking every morning for the past two weeks with temperatures in the minus mid teens C and the jacket is very warm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 6'4" 190lbs Yes, I'm tall and slim. I wanted this jacket to fit so badly. Now I have to ship it back. LT even with the cords on the bottom pulled tight looked comical. It looked like a poncho! Columbia really needs to serve an incredibly underrepresented market - even if it's only online - we have the money and will pay (skinny tall people)! I literally am looking at spending upwards of twice this price for a different brand jacket because they *might* fit tall slim builds. It was worth the try.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Fall Jacket. Great jacket, warm and waterproof. I bought as a possible winter parka jacket. It is really only good down to about -5 C standing around in. It is very wind proof and if you are more active, I am sure it is warm to lower temps. The outer shell is not insulated. My back and arms get cool, but never cold, unless the temp is below -5C. If your looking however for a Parka, this is not one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Size and Coat I ordered this for my husband who is 6'5" and about 170 pounds. It fits perfectly on his long arms and torso. We think it will be perfect for this upcoming winter. This coat is warm and comfortable.
Date published: 2015-11-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm is the goal: goal met. Item meets warmth standards due to space-age inner removable liner, layers keep you warmer, and this jacket meets those requirements. Inner lining is somewhat bulky making sleeve removal difficult if you have a bulky watch on. Then again, the liner serves its purpose and is toasty warm. Is excellent in a less cold environment with the liner removed -- provides a wind barrier. Thank-You for making a jacket that is tall in length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jacket is hot! This product fits great. It's a well made jacket. The only problems is that the shade will not match the other pants. You will have to miss match this product with another color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product! I got this for my boyfriend in tall. The XL ran a tad big, so am exchanging It for a LT. But we both love it. Great fabric, nice pockets. Totally versatile...can use spring to deep winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great winter coat This a great heavy warm coat. Bought for my husband who is 6-4, 250 lbs and bought same size as usual, even though review states "runs a little small" I bought a 2xlt and it's definitely bigger than any other 2xlt I've bought in the past. Worked great for our ski trip! He even had to remove the liner because he was warm
Date published: 2015-03-25
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Jacket I wear a size 50 got the 2xl it was to tight in the arms had to get a 3xl. Jacket is nice but you need horizontal hand pockets to put stuff in and not have it fall out when you pull your hand out like the side pocket. I wore it in 20 degree weather and I expected it to be a lot warmer with the new space age material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband loves it! I bought this jacket for my husband. He doesn't ask for much and when it was time for a new winter jacket I figured I'd try Columbia. This was definitely a great purchase. The jacket runs a tad bit big, but its worth every penny! He says its very warm as well.
Date published: 2015-03-05
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quirks I can live with. Runs a bit tight in the body and arms, compared with other brands' XLTs. Fleece liner sleeves are longer than the shell's sleeves and thus hang below! Otherwise, well made, functional, practical.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am glad I've made the right choice I am very excited writing this review, as a first time customer and buyer, i highly recommend the Bugaboo Interchangeable Jacket. I stand 6'6" and weigh 305 pounds, it's very hard finding jackets for big guys. I live in and currently reside in Maryland but i attended college in North Dakota... i remember seeing locals and students wearing Columbia apparel, so i visited the website and here I am. I wasn't sure about the size so i called in and spoke with a representative name Ryan Bonilla. Ryan was very helpful professional and patient, what a great rep. I told him about the jacket that interest me and i was asking what do he prefer for size. We came to an agreement that the 3xt was better for me because of my height. I've placed my order Feb 6, 2015 and it came today February 13, 2015. Today was very windy and cold... it was 12 degrees when i checked the weather. My order came today from ups around 2:30pm eastern standard time. I was excited about my order and it did not disappoint. The jacket was perfect, it's true to size, huge pockets and i was able to wear it with a hoody underneath the jacket. I love the feel and the light weight of the jacket. I've seen reviews about the sleeves, it's not that bad at all. In fact it doesn't bother me. Upon wearing the jacket outside it did not disappoint. I was warm and comfortable and the huge pockets kept my hands warm. I've ordered the all black color and i will be ordering future products. I truly recommend this product to bigger guys because I know how hard it is to find jackets. One more thing, i have long arms and the length of the sleeves are perfect. I will continue to enjoy my bugaboo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket...very warm!! When I 1st received this jacket I realized I purchased the wrong size. It too big but I was like I can deal with that. I also thought this jacket is way to thin to keep my warm especially when the wind starts blowing. But I was pleasantly surprised and glad to be wrong for once. I actually find that I leave the jacket unzipped to keep from getting to hot. Very happy with this purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jacket fits great! But... IT should be noted the website clearly shows a black jacket with a black liner at the time I ordered, twice, I had to return the first one because I thought the grey liner they sent was a mistake, but actually the website is wrong. For a tall person, the jacket fits VERY well, in the arms, and waist. I love it for that part but wish it was black on black, like I wanted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat for a big & tall guy! This is the fourth coat I have purchased this winter. All of them have been either too snug in the mid-section or the sleeves were too short. This coat is perfect!. I am 6'5" and weigh upwards of 375 lbs - so as you can imagine, there are not many options for me. This coat has been great so far!! I recommend it for everyone looking for a good winter coat for commuting, skiing, shoveling, or whatever your use is; but ESPECIALLY FOR BIG AND TALL MEN!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter coat! My last Columbia winter coat was probably about 10 years old, and it had a good run, but was starting to show some signs of wear, so I cheked out the new Columbia line-up and decided on this model. This one is much thinner and lighter than my old Columbia coat, but seems to be just as warm! I was skeptical at first, but after wearing it through the last few weeks of single-digit weather and below-zero wind chills here in Pennsylvania, I am very happy with the cold weather performance. I ordered the Large Tall size, and the fit is perfect for me. I like the zip-out lining and detachable hood features....they are a must for me. A couple of other comments... The inside of the fleece lining looks like a shiny disco ball...I get lots of comments on this when people see the inside of my coat, but I think it really does helps to keep in the heat. There is lots of velcro on this coat. It helps with functionality, but it keeps getting stuck to my other clothing, and occasionally other people's clothing if I get too close to them. =) Lastly, the insides of the sleeves are not smooth like my previous Columbia coat, so I have to make an effort to hold onto the ends of my shirt sleeves when I put this on, otherwise, they end up pushed all the way up my arm. Overall, I am very impressed with this coat and how warm it is for its weight and size, and after a couple of weeks wearing it, I am very happy with my purchase! I have received lots of compliments on the look of it too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my tall husband My husband is 6'4" and about 230 lbs. The XLT fits him perfectly, looks great on him, and is warm enough for our chilliest North Carolina nights. The shiny inner surface is no big deal. His only complaints have been about the pockets. He likes a side opening chest pocket for ease of access, but this jacket has a top opening chest pocket. Also, he wishes the side pockets were as warm and insulated as the inner jacket is. I asked him if he wanted to return the jacket and keep looking and he said HECK NO. Overall, great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and Dry Purchased this coat a couple of weeks ago. Spent a few days at Okemo this past week, am temps 0 and below warming to mid 20's. Windy 3 out of the 4 days. Also snowed one of the days. This jacket kept me warm and dry with a base layer of smart wool and a light weight fleece pull over = toasty. I had been looking at HH, NF, Marmount all much more expensive, but glad I saved the money . Great jacket

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK, but zipper only one-way This product is OK. However, for a jacket marketed as athletic wear, it is disappointing that the zipper is one-way, meaning, it cannot be unzipped from the bottom to allow for greater leg movement when cycling, sitting, climbing, etc. Returned jacket and Columbia was helpful, but would not pay return shipping.
Date published: 2015-01-31
Rated 1 out of 5 by from New Bugaboo is a Genuine Bugaboo I had to return this jacket because of the terrible fit. The main issue is that the arms are incredibly small. I do not consider myself to have particularly muscular arms, but even while wearing only dress shirt, it is very difficult to get my arms in the sleeves. Even after I do, movement is extremely restrictive since the arms are so tight. Trying to wear this jacket with a sweatshirt, or other heavy clothing would be totally impossible because the sleeves are so small in diameter. Also, I can't believe a jacket of this type does not have a double zipper. I have had two Columbia jackets prior to this one, which have served me long and well for nearly twelve years. They always fit perfectly (sleeves are much larger), and have provided exceptional service. I can't believe a company with such a long tradition of fine outerwear would produce a jacket with such an obvious flaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy I have owned and used this jacket for about 2 weeks now and I love it. I'm a big guy. 6'4" 310 lbs. I ordered a 3xt. It's just a little tight in the arms but not so much that it would bother me. I would suggest this jacket to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome coat! I bought this coat for my boyfriend as a Christmas present. When he got it he said it looks so thin I doubt it will keep me warm, we'll to his surprise the coat has managed to keep him warm I have noticed that this is the only coat he wears, says the coat is very comfortable and that he would definitely recommend.

  • Place against a wall or other 90 degree surface.

Place heel against fold/wall on flat level surface.
  • Mark the end of the longest toe with a pen or pencil.
  • Measure both feet and use the larger measurement.
  • Read measurement and compare to size chart.
  • When comparing on the size chart, determine the closest larger measurement and use that number to determine your shoe size for your country’s shoe measurement standard.
