- 2. Place against a wall or other 90 degree surface. Place heel against fold/wall on flat level surface.

Toes are no longer frozen.
I have bought a lot of the competitor brands and have always come back to Columbia boots. With these boots I no longer worry about my toes getting frozen. I am a diabetic and foot care is a top priority. With other brands I have had to double up on socks or put in warmers to keep warm mot toasty like these boots. Well worth the cost. My last set of boots lasted 15 years.

First time boot owner
My wife insisted I buy winter boats as I only wear sneakers and end up getting cold feet/ wet shoes. So I bit the bullet and purchased these and it was by far the most comfortable boot. I tried out tried out different brands and felt that the best fit was Columbia. I think that I’m going to remain loyal to a Columbia products.

Had to return these boots. They were not wide enough for my feet. Nice looking boot but very disappointed with the fit. Went a size up and it still did not fit. If you don’t have a wide feet theses will probably fit you.

Best boot my husband has owned
I bought this boot for my husband for hunting. He put them on and immediately said they were so comfortable and felt "broken in". He wore them every day to get used to them but after day 2 said, "these move so good I don't think I need to worry about it." He wore them for 3 days in the mountains and said his feet were warm and that he loved them so much he convinced 3 of his hunting partners to order a pair before they left the mountain.

Works great (sized up)
I bought these for my partner, who has extremely wide feet. Length-wise, he wears a size 11.5-12 but usually has to size up due to width. For these boots, the size 13 fit best for him, even though they are wider than the normal ones. This still works though, and they don't slip or anything. He says they're functional and are especially warm, but the shoe is relatively stiff out of the box (which was expected).

Runs VERY SMALL
I ordered my boots in the 11 Wide like all my other footwear, they were way too tight, returned them for 11.5 wide, just got them, NO DIFFERENCE in fit and have to return these, next size up is 12 and the way the 11.5 fit a 12 won't either, next after that is 13, will my foot swim in a 13? somebody needs to fix the sizing on these boots

I am very happy with my purchase. Seldom do I find a great price on a wide shoe sized in the range of 10-12 for men. Usually when I see a great price, they are only available in medium width and usually then only in sizes 6,7,8,13,14&17.

Great boot and best price online
I searched multiple websites for this specific boot as I have worn older Bugaboot models in the past and loved them. No one else had the size and width I needed and the price was much lower than any other site. These new models do run small though, I am normally an 11 to 11.5 and I had to order a 12 to fit properly. Columbia made the exchange process very easy and quick though.

Great gift - great fit and warm!
My very particular boyfriend (has been known to return products more often than keeping them!) loves these boots. Flat insoles, short laces...but fits my wide feet
I'm writing based on just receiving the boots and trying them on. The boots seem good enough in construction, and the wide version fits my wide feet...but I'm glad I ordered a half size larger than my usual size. They have a very flat and fairly hard insole that I will want to replace. Also, for high top boots that need slack for putting them on, the laces are too short. I have to pull the laces extra firmly to get enough length to tie them properly. Four more inches would be about right for these boots.

Great boot for the price
You can't beat this boot for the regular price, unless it's on sale for 44% off, like it is now. It's warm and comfortable, even on a bitter cold day trudging through deep snow. The standard sizes run small and very narrow, so if in doubt go a half size up and wide.

Order Up A Size (or Two)!
These boots are well made and good looking. However, I ordered the wide width a half-size big, and they were tight in both length and width. The toe box also was very cramped and low. The removable insole is thin and cheap. I will either find a 3/4 replacement insole or cut the toe section out of the one included. These are good for shoveling snow, but I would not want to work all day, or walk or hike any distance in them.

My husband loves these boots. He says they are very comfortable and warm. I ordered an 11.5 wide because they didn't have a 12 in stock. I had to return them because they were too short. He usually can wear an 11.5, but these were too short. If you're looking for a good winter boot, these are what you are looking for.

A big fan of IIs that I wear for work so I wanted a pair for not work and decided on the IIIs...I liked the colorway on the IIIs better...which I'm also liking - The size...comparing soles...was just a bit longer than the same size IIs but still very comfortable and these too don't quite feel as "boot-y" as another winter boot I've worn

This boot would be fine if you're wearing it for a short while. I bought these because of the great reviews, especially when people said they were warm and waterproof. I work outside all day. These boots keep my feet dry for about 2 hrs, then water somehow gets inside and my feet freeze. I wouldn't recommend using these boots for hiking or working in.

I ordered these boots for my husband. He tried a pair on in the store but his normalnsi3 13 were a little small. So we ordered a size 14 online, and they are perfect! He was surprised at how comfortable they were - says they’re probably the most. I fort ale boot/shoe he has! Plus, they are warm and waterproof. The perfect winter boot!

A Good Boot
I bought these boots as I had literally walked the soles off my other boots. These arrived just before a trip to the mountains to take my little nephew tubing so I got to put them to the test. The boots look great and feel great but are tough to get on without un-lacing them a bit. It would be nice if the top 2 lacing eyelets where hooks instead so you don't have to re-lace them when you put them back on. The boot had great traction on spots where it was slick, kept my feet warm with just a cotton sock and it walking in general was easy and comfortable; it didn't feel like a moon boot. I'd recommend these boots and look forward to putting them through some more testing.

Finally, a Winter Boot that fits!!
If you are the "proud" owner of Fred Flintstone feet (you know what I mean) this is THE winter boot for you! Don't even try any others and their universal width of 'D'. Your foot will become crushed, that is, if you even get your foot in the boot!
The Bugaboo III boot is warm, offers awesome support to foot and ankle and is more than warm enough for most winter outdoor activities. I use mine for cold weather hiking and snowshoeing! This boot is everything I could want in a winter boot. The only change I'd make is to incorporate some of the new 'ice-gripping' technology to the sole. But, other than that, this is the ultimate winter outdoor sport boot. I love mine, and I'm sure they will see years of service! Great job Columbia!

Couldnt get on foot
I've worn 10.5 EE shoes for 15 years and never had a problem with sizing. These bugaboots were so poorly sized I couldn't even get it all the way onto my foot. once the laces were COMPLETELY removed I squeezed it on like an evil step-sister and almost instantly got a cramp.

Great Boots Overall!
Got these boots for my son that just moved to the midwest. Perfect for the cold, snowy winters there. He's a chef and can wear them to keep his feet warm and dry outdoors in the winter, and in the kitchen as well, where they're both waterproof and spill- and slip-resistant too! Light enough for the dual service so his ankles aren't killing him when he takes them off at night! Great find and terrific buy!!

My son had to order one size up.
Although he has narrow feet the width of the boots is truly meant for someone who does not have average width feet. There is no room for thicker winterweight socks.

recievied these boots on 10/25/218
wore them on 10/27/18 on a rainy day in 45degree weather
the waterproofing is good but the insulation is not warm for even a 45 degree day according to product it states that it is rated at -25f/-32c
boots did not keep feet warm in 45 degree weather
which is why i give it 1 star
