Men’s Bugaboot™ Plus Omni-Heat® Michelin® Boot is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good looking shoe This shoe looks cool, size is good, wears comfortable. But it is not good at keep my feet warm, I have 2 layers of socks, still cold after an hour or so outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ankle break in My hubby bought these and he hasn't owned a pair of high top boots before... took a bit of getting used too, but once they were broken in...Perfection

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and light This boot is very warm and extremely light. They will not bog you down at all. I read a lot of reviews saying that they ran small. They run slightly small. I ordered a full size up simply because I thought I would be wearing thicker socks or layering my socks. Overall I would recommend this boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Son loves them! Got these boots for my son. He said they are warm and comfortable! We have had breast luck with others like them in the past so I’m sure these will be the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, rugged I had a pair of Bugabootwos that lasted me nearly a decade before the seal between the outsole and the rubber upper came apart. The Bugaboot Plus in black is an improvement over the previous pair in several ways. It's lighter, has laces that don't come loose, is better insulated, and looks better, in my opinion. It kept my feet warm and dry down to subzero temps here in Minnesota.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could not get it on my foot It is a very nice looking boot and may be functional if you can get it on. The problem I had was that the tongue was sewn to the boot so high that I could not loosen the boot enough to get my foot inside of it. My old bugaboots are much looser at the top allowing my foot to slide in nicely. Unfortunately my old pair are loosing the soles due to me kicking them off at the heel and causing the sole to separate from the boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and warm. Fit is a little stiff These boots are very warm, however they are a little stiff to start. I kind of feel like I’m wearing a snowboard boot. They are brand new still so they may break in after some time. They definitely do the job in keeping my feet warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My boots I have only owned two pairs of winter boots as a civilian. Since 1988 I have owned the Columbia bugaboots. So when I tried to replace my last 15 year old pair, to find out they changed, I was crushed. But when I received my new pair of bugaboot lls, I was skeptical. Then when we got 10" of snow in Detroit and I wore them out,I was pleased beyond my anticipation. Warm, dry, comfortable. I wear a size 14. So a lot of winter boots are HUGE!! I don't even mind driving with these on. Surpassed ever expectation I had. I will continue to use this product until I don't need them anymore. Both my wife and I use Columbia products and will continue to do so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Boots Ever These boots are made to last! Sturdy and rugged, they withstand daily wear on all terrains. They are comfortable and warm, without making for overly hot feet. The craftsmanship and quality are worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Michelin Boots I always have purchased Michelin tires for my sports cars for their grip, so why not for my feet? I recently had a mild stroke so these boots grip very well as I’ve 20 steep stairs to climb through slippery weather. Excellent product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a very quality product! This is a very quality product! I have been in them for 2 months and there are no problems. Went in them walked on 8 inch snow at -18 Celsius (0 F) for 10 hours and felt like at home in slippers. Then everything is rastatto and since we do not have good roads there were puddles 2 inches deep, I did not wet my feet. From the minuses, as they are warm, when you go into the room and for a long time there are feet begin to sweat, for this, I think it is not warmer to take these. And the second one, with a cold cold wind at the bottom of the lacing, feels cold, I understand it because of ventilation , otherwise when you are in the warmth of the feet sweating. At first they were very tough, but quickly spread and now it is convenient. They slip on the ice and wet floor like any other footwear that I've met. It would be cool if you came up with a fabric for the tongue that in the heat became blown and let the foot breathe if you were indoors and in the frost

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lite and Sturdy Great boots, when I got the package I didn't think there were two boots inside, it was so lite. The boots are very comfortable, well, made and so warm. I walk dogs at the local humane society for up to two hours at 7am in very cold conditions, single digits. These boots are so comfortable, they seem to keep getting warmer with the heat reflective liner, I wish I had them years earlier. I ordered a size larger based on other reviews. glad I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Boots These are my favorite winter boots I have ever owned, they feel really comfortable and are great quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tight fit Couldn't decide if label true to size or runs small. If you wear thick socks it will feel tight but after having them on for a few minutes the shoe molds to your feet so it doesn't fit tight anymore. Similar to when you wear ski boots its takes a little time to mold into your feet. Other than that the boot is great and keeps your feet warm and has great grip in snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot, except for the lacing system. This is the second pair of Columbia boots that I have owned. The first pair was the Bugaboot II, which didn't have the reinforced lace loops. After a couple months of daily wear, I managed to saw through 2 of the loops. Since my size of the Bugaboot II was out of stock, they sent me a pair of these as a replacement. They are super warm and comfortable. This pair has the reinforcing inserts in the loops to prevent the loop failure problem from occurring but unfortunately I managed top pull one of the loops right out of the boot. Again, they went back to Columbia under warranty and they have promised to provide me with a credit to apply against a new pair of my choosing. Columbia seems to have the best Customer Support in the industry. I just wish that the lacing system was a bit more durable. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fit. Third pair of Columbus boots. I previously purchased a slide-on Omni-Heat boot and a lace up Bugaboot both of which seemed we well for several winter seasons in Chicago. This has better construction with the Michelin soles and Omni-Heat lining. Like all Columbia boots, I buy a size 13 when I normally wear a size 12 work boot probably because I wear thicker socks with these boots. I like the boots. They are comfortable and keep my feet dry. I wore them over so far so time will tell but my other Columbia boots took a long time to wear out so I anticipate this will be the same. I would definitely buy these again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toasty! Gifted these to my husband and he absolutely raves about his new boots. They are incredibly warm. No more cold feet when he is shoveling the driveway. He says they are really comfortable, but the sizing runs a bit small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snow Boots For Colorado Skiing Trip "No Let Down's" I purchased these boots, MEN’S BUGABOOT™ PLUS OMNI-HEAT® MICHELIN® BOOT, from the Columbia website for our upcoming winter activity trip to Colorado. While in Colorado we did skiing, snowmobiling, tubing, and other outdoor activities. I track my steps daily and my step count was over 13,000 steps per day, needless to say, I spent all week in these boots so I feel like I can give an honest and fair comparison in my experience. Additionally, I can mention that I have other gear (snow jackets, snow pants, etc) from Columbia so I expected a high level of quality and performance from my purchase. Well, not only did the boots arrive on time but they were a great value and not once did I regret my purchase. Temperatures were generally between 26 and 36 degrees F. At no time did my feet get cold. Additionally, the boots were not too warm either as I typically have sweaty feet. As such, these were my "Go To" footwear for the whole trip. They were comfortable, warm, and waterproof. I was able to traverse many different terrain's with no issues. I was up to my knees in fresh powder snow, sloshing through ice, water, and gravel and at no time did I feel that these boots let me down. Not only did I purchase these boots but to my surprise, when we went tubing down the mountain, the tubing rental place also had these boots available for rent to the public. At this point, it further reinforced my decision I felt like if they could rent out 30-40 pairs of these boots and put their faith in Columbia and this boot, then they are definitely the right choice for me too. I would also buy these boots again as they are comfortable and they have a solid foundation and feeling when walking. They are also not too heavy and some of my other boots have considerable weight, these boots are great all around boot. Definitely a "Go To" pair over others that I have tried.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easily the best These are easily the best winter boots I have ever purchased. I am retired military and work for the Postal Service as a Mail Carrier in Maine.....so I am constantly exposed to harsh weather and do plenty of walking.....these boots required no break in period and have been flawless in keeping my feet dry and warm....they also provided me superior ankle support and the sole of the boot provided me with excellent traction while walking in snow or on ice.....my search for the perfect winter boot is over, I strongly recommend this boot for anyone who will be outside a lot in the winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and robust This is a great boot. I walk my dogs in varying terrain every day. I’ve owned a lot of boots but these keep my feet warm and dry and are not heavy when on long walks. A great buy and really good value. I’d definitely recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AVOID AT ALL COST I bought them for a 3 day trip to Canada with my wife for our 16th anniversary. Day one seemed ok but there was no snow. Day two we hit the street and snow kept falling for large part of the day. We spent several hours underground. Came back early for to the Hotel to watch the Super Bowl. I kept mentioning to my wife that I felt my feet cold, and that we were not near the -25F they were supposed to withstand. To my surprise my feet were super wet inside, it was not sweat it for the vast majority of the humidity was located in the top part of the front of the shoes. I have read reviews about this issue with these boots but thought it was bad luck, well it is not! Is poor construction and design, these boots are supposed to withstand severe weather. I have filed my claimed and will not purchase shoes from Columbia anymore. I will have to invest hard earned money for a second pair of boots that I will not use on my 96º F climate back home!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Working Great So Far! I ordered these because I do a lot of winter hiking, hunting, and birding in pretty adverse conditions. The waterproofing works well and the leather uppers and thick soles and lower parts of the boots work well in wet, rocky, and cactus-covered terrain. I really like them and will continue to give Columbia my business.
Date published: 2018-02-04
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm, comfortable boot These boots are warm and comfortable. As others have mentioned, they are stiff to walk in (like ski boots). I would not recommend them for long walks for this reason until they are really broken in. The first pair I bought did not seem to be waterproof - I felt moisture on my right foot. Returned them and trying a new pair now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Size runs small and Columbia will not admit it Received the boots and the boots runs small since I wear a size 9 and "never" had problems with other shoe manufacturer. Columbia will not admit the problem. Instead, push the blame on my foot? Ricidulous!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not totally sure I love these I needed a sturdy work boot because I work out on the dock .. they weren't very comfortable the first night I wore them as my toes were touching the front when I walked.. I normally wear 10.5 women's and got these in 9.5.. I guess we will see the more I wear them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than we hoped for!!! My husband was looking for new boots to wear out hunting. After looking i a variety of places with no success, I showed him these boots on the Columbia website. He was intrigued because there is no steel in them (makes his feet get cold faster out there), and agreed to let me order them. When they arrived, they looked great, and when he tried them on, they fit great. Now he has been out several times in very cold weather and is very happy with the support, grip, warmth, and sturdiness. YAY!!! These are keepers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, Comfortable I ordered these to do some winter hiking around Mount Katahdin in Maine. It was 20F with plenty of snow on the ground in December. The boots fit comfortably and were great in the snow. My feet were dry and toasty warm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Literally one month after the warranty...GONE I purchased these boots approximately 13 months ago and for the the first couple of months they were great. They fit a little smaller than my other boots, but they did their main function...kept my feet warm and dry last winter. This winter came to Pennsylvania and I was excited to wear these boots again, but after my second time wearing them...the entire left side on my left boot tore from the leather upper and rubber sole. This was while I wearing them out in the woods so to say the least...it cut this hike short and I had one foot that was a bit frozen when I got back to the cabin. A very big disappointment!!! I have never wrote a negative review about any other Columbia product and I am truly saddened by this outcome since I have been a huge proponent of your products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest Boot I’ve Owned I bought this boot after reading about it on a hunting/fishing forum. It was rated very highly on the site, so I figured I’d give it a shot. This boot has exceeded my every expectation. Good for the rugged hikes to the tree stand, as well as the casual walk to class through the snow. This boot will keep your feet warm and dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain, sleet,snow.... These are the best all around boots on the market. My son is a mailman who walks 8 miles a day in all kinds of winter weather. He buys a pair of these every fall. When nothing else is warm and dry his feet are. Thanks for a great product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Last only one winter I have used it mostly to walk from the parking lot to the building that I work, a 300 meter walk, and a few times outdoor. However, in 2016, my second winter using it, there was a tear in the upper part of the boot, caused by no apparent reason other than the usual walking. All the rest of the boot remains brand new, but I can't use it. Quite disappointing, since I have a number of Columbia products that work great... (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
