Rated 2 out of 5 by MA03 from Happy turned to Frustrated I bought this jacket last year during the winter and loved the jacket. However, this fall, I have been wearing the liner jacket without the shell and I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. Feathers are popping out of the jacket at a rapid pace. Every time I look down, I have a new feather sticking out of it. Front, back, top, bottom... it doesn't matter they keep coming out. There are no visible holes in the jacket either. However, at this pace, this jacket will no longer keep me warm during the winter which is very frustrating and disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mbp0013 from Worth I bought this jacket for a winter trip to NY. This worked great in the snow/rain they had while I was there. When the weather warmed up the possibility of using the down jacket or outershell was nice. I've used this jacket alot, and have swapped out liner with other jackets that I have depending on weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fatchard21 from Really good quality It's the best jacket I have bought, it keep me warm and dry. But the size is a little bit large but OK. By the way, it's not eazy to get dirty, I like it. and really recommend this 3-in-1 jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JTodd from Well thought out design I needed a replacement sub-zero coat for our Wisconsin winter. This has all the features I need to clear snow at -10F. I particularly like the zipper as that has been the weak link with prior coats. Wouldn't you know the weather shot up to 32F the day the coat arrived. The coat is functioning as advertised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AtxRam from Very pleased with the jacket Used this jacket for my skiing trip. Extremely comfortable and kept me warm and dry. One small improvement that could have been done was to have a hook/ring near the chest to tie the lift tickets. Totally recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeffingbmich from Great value! I got this jacket on sale about a year ago. Wanted a Bugaboo but they were sold out so got this instead. It is one of many Columbia products I’ve purchased over the years primarily to wear while downhill skiing. This jacket is high quality, stylish, and true to your description. The puffy inner jacket is lightweight, very stylish and very warm with the metallic liner. It’s my go to winter driving jacket. I like the style, fit, and functionality of the outer jacket but wish it had outer chest pockets on both sides (it doesn’t have one on either side). Worn together on very cold days, this is a very comfortable interchange. The pitzips are nice on warmer days. Overall, a great value, in the Columbia tradition!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bouncer from Cascade Peak Jacket I purchased a cascade peak Jacket to replace a down jacket I purchased several years ago.I wore it for the first time today in 15 degree weather. It was not as warm as the jacket I am replacing I researched your web site several times before I ordered. The way it was advertised I belived it would be as warm as the one I am replacing. To say the least I am disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by markbigman from The perfect winter coat -- warm without being too bulky I've had the same winter coat for years, but an unfortunate mishap last year necessitated the replacement of that coat. After researching, I knew I wanted an interchange jacket with a down lining and omni-heat. After trying on a couple different Columbia Interchange jackets, I easily landed on this, Cascade Peaks. It's stylish without being flashy. It's warm as can be without being bulky, and I love that the hood comes off, the shell is a great windbreaker, and the lining is a great jacket on its own. Fantastic jacket. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by John52 from Warm and well designed but... I ordered this coat based on the history of quality from Columbia. I am pleased with the construction of the shell and liner. It was warm during our last 10 degree cold snap. However, the cuffs need more Velcro. I can't tighten the cuffs enough to fit snugly and then the tabs flap around and get caught. A longer Velcro strip would solve the problem easily. Another minor complaint is the silver foil liner. I just don't like the 'bling' factor. A solid black interior is more my style.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jack45 from Fit is issue for me I returned the coat. The fit did not work for me. I would call it a tapered athletic fit, meaning it was tapered to the waist. I am not. Shoulders fit good (I have broad shoulders), waist was too small, sleeves were too long. I believe it would have been warm, and quality appeared good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PillowMan from My Stylish Disco Jacket This Jacket just has the best of all worlds! I have 3 pouches on the liner. a security pocket people seem to complain about being behind the liner on the shell of the interchange jacket (therefore behind the zipper when they're together) but its an easy fix: just zip the jackets a little apart and you got a extra-ultra secure security pocket only YOU know about! (Really Cool Ma Boyle)! Also the Blue and Black styles have their Omni Heat lining colored the same which makes me feel like a disco god flashing cool red reflective lining on my stylish down filled jacket! Incredible Columbia, just incredible!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Larry57 from Quality still the best! My first Columbia winter jacket lasted me over 10 years and I'm still using it as a second jacket! I wanted to treat myself to a new one this year, I'm happy to say that the quality, look and fit of the new jacket has not changed! I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend Columbia jackets for anyone who needs a warm winter jacket that is made to last!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hambone from Great coat Many people have commented about the sleeves being a little bit long. Which they are.... however with that said this coat is amazing. I spend a lot of time outside either walking, hiking, running, or camping. This one coat has replaced four coats in my closet. I have literally gotten rid of all of my other coats for this coat. The omni-heat down layer keeps me perfectly comfortable in the cold. Even in the snow and lower temps here in Oregon (strange winter this year) and the wind. The wind breaker has done an amazing job keeping me warm in the warmer days and dry durring the long hard rainy days. I have even taken this coat in the hat mountain rains up on the windward side of the mountains. I would recommend this coat (and have) to all of my friends and anyone who would listen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by IYAshike from Size is off. Got this jacket in blue for $134. l have size L (l'm 177cms/80kgs - 5'10''/176 pounds). Columbia current size L simply is an XL. Unless you have longer than average arms and a very big belly (like, really big), go for size M. The shell looks nice and makes you feel protected against rain and wind. The hoody is too open on the front (l think it's made for climbers wearing a helmet, otherwise l don't get it). (Check the pictures to see the difference between the hoody on this Columbia jacket and that of a North Face.) The cut. Oh my. Again, size L is XL. lt really is a problem because it's very wide on the bottom, so the wind comes up and gets under the jacket easily (even when tightening the 'Drawcord adjustable hem'). Then the 'Adjustable sleeve cuffs.' l have a XL size pair of hands. Unless you have the hands of a Yeti, you'll hardly be able to adjust the cuffs properly. It's a shame because l have another Columbia jacket (from 2011) which has the perfect diameter on the cuff. The liner has a better fit (when it comes to arms length), but the same ultra super wide fit when it comes to the waist. Unless you are incredibly overweithted, the liner will run very, very wide on you. So, is it worth $135? lt depends. If the jacket fits on you, then yes. l'm disappointed. l thought this jacket would be an upgrade of my old 2011 one, but it certainly isn't.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FernandoVZLA from So far so Good The jacket so far has worked great, I tested it out in camping, weather at 20F and it handle pretty well the weather. The only con about this jacket is the internal pockets, if you have bother layers on you have no internal pockets to access. Both jackets separately work pretty well. So far so good. For the price it is a pretty good Jacket to own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by joniek from Warm, Dry and Lightweight My son traveled to Europe this winter with one backpack to encounter snow, rain, gusty wind at many tourist sights in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic. In every weather event he was prepared and felt confident whether going to an outdoor venue, a restaurant or performance wearing this jacket in freezing or below 0 degree temperatures. This coat packs lighter than heavy down or wool jackets, roomy enough to add inner layers, long enough sleeves to block wind and overlap glove gaps, and blocks rain and wind. Pockets and air vents are well positioned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Aleena from Boyfriend loves it I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas, gave it to him early. It's a great jacket! He can wear a short sleeve shirt and put the jacket on and stay incredibly warm. If he gets too hot, he takes the inner shell out and just keeps the outershell. Although it's a two piece jacket, it does not look bulky or puffy at all. He looks great in it. He is 5'11, 175lbs and has long arms, he got a large. He usually has trouble finding things that fit his arms, so for anybody with shorter arms, the large may not work for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by uclalcu00 from Couldn't be happier. This jacket is everything I wanted in a winter jacket. The temperature where I live has been getting down to well below zero. And while I'm out walking behind a self propelled snow blower. I'm kept so warm I start to sweat. It fits great. Looks good. Functional. This jacket isn't cheap. But you get what you pay for. And it's worth the money. It's made with the durability you've come to expect from Columbia.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DiscerningWoodridge from Poor Quality I never write reviews, but I had to in this case. I ordered this jacket in Medium, and was shocked to find the sleeves come down to my fingertips. The Velcro adjustments don't allow you to adjust the cuff to a normal size, and there is no elastic; the absolute worst fitting sleeves I have ever encountered. For what this jacket costs you expect the bare minimum of features. I am telling you there are no features on this jacket. 2 pockets on the outer shell, and that is literally it. The security pocket is located inside the outer shell between the 2 pieces. You have to unzip the outer from the inner to get at it, what's the point? So that is a list of the features, 3 pockets and a one-way zipper. Waterproof? I will never know because it is already in the bag 5 minutes after I tried it on. Don't order this piece of work, there will be tons on sale after they get them all back on returns ...
