Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still great but expected a bit more for the price Great jacket overall. It kept me warm in temperatures around 10-20 degrees when i first bought it three months ago. The shell seems very durable and does a great job of keeping out moisture and blocking wind. It also looks great! The insulated layer also looks great on its own and does well in dry, non windy weather around 35-50 degrees. It is a bit thinner than I expected and the down is constantly, slowly leaking out (this is my first down jacket, I'm not sure if this is normal) so I'm worried that the warmth won't last long. Overall solid jacket so far. Looks great, keeps me warm and dry, and is very versatile!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Coat I've ever bought! This coat is truly the best coat I've owned! The functionality of the 3-in-1 allows you to be prepared for any type of weather. The heat technology makes it the perfect coat for below freezing temperatures. Both shells of the coat are great to wear together or separate. I couldn't believe the high quality of this coat for the price I paid ($150). I am extremely happy with this purchase and I may not ever need another winter coat after this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic I work night shift in a warehouse freezer, so I spend 6-12 hours a day in sub 15F. This jacket not only keeps me warm it doesn't make me sweat, while remaining comfortable and non-bulky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great coat after having coat for about one month and skiing ten days,, have found coat to be really functional... been skiing at tahoe so fairly mild weather..wearing t-shirt or light sweater only and have been plenty warm...coat runs a little large so lots of mobility while skiing.. plus can take out liner to wear on warm days...looks good also ,,,been getting lots of compliments..highly recommend if you're needing to upgrade your coat.i was tired of being cold..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A jacket for gentlemen Combination of material and color makes this jacket an ideal one for men, especially tall men like me :) The only problem is I had to change mine (XL) to a large one, but every other Columbia jackets I wear and was fit to me was XL!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple design I love the simple design and shell material of this jacket. But it is large. Considered returning it for a smaller size, but they'd sold out by then.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo down This is a tough jacket. Stood up to the bomb cyclone and kept me warm. Runs somehow long, like it covers my rear; doesn't end at my waist. Kinda feels like a dress, which feels oddly nice. Great jacket, surprisingly water resistant. Comes with omni-heat lining which feels like a ray of sun shine in blizzard conditions. Ya know that feeling of a hot cup of coffee on a cold morning? Well you will with this jacket. It's got you covered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality, Warm Coat I contacted Columbia's customer service for help choosing a coat for our very cold Michigan winter's. I ultimately chose the Catacomb Crest Interchange Jacket. It is very well made and it is warm. I recommend this coat and would buy it again. If I could change something, I would add additional pockets. My previous Columbia coat had room for my hat and gloves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but Outer jacket: I really like the feel of the outer shell. The material, while synthetic, almost has a denim feel. Time will tell how tear resistant it is compared to the older model interchangeable jackets I have owned, but it feels very sturdy. One thing I dislike on the outer shell is the length. For the size I would have liked to see it 2" - 4" shorter and a bit slimmer. Inner jacket: Like the outer jacket I would have liked to see the body slimmer. The length of the arms and torso of inner jacket is about perfect for my size. The collar could be an inch or two taller, but it is adequate. I really like the cuffs on this jacket. They seem to be a good size between too tight and just a straight cut. The inner shell holds the heat in well, but the feathers are starting to come out already (I have had the jacket two weeks). I am always hesitant to buy down jackets for this reason, they start out well, but shed their insulation. The outer material feels very thin and fragile, but has been water and snow repellant thus far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Outstanding jacket, holds up to cold Chicago mornings. Very durable outer shell with lined hand pockets. The turbo down filling eliminates the wind and keeps you nice and warm. Highly recommend this for winter

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look forward to putting it to use I just moved from a very warm climate to the freezing cold here in Idaho. This jacket has kept me warm in temperatures well below freezing. I bought it because I needed a coat for school that wasn't overly big and that looked stylish. I love the color. I didn't know the inner jacket was red, but it looks very nice also.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from it is worth the price I got the jacket L-size because I have wide shoulders and it fits well, however a slight design flaw makes the waist bigger due to the same width as shoulders. the string at the midsection would really help fix this flaw. as one can see there is no such string or tension at midwaist on this jacket. I am keeping it anyway because it it is sufficient for NYC winter and environment. not sure it can handle North states or Canada winters only because the Turbodawn is too thin inside the lining. I wish there was an option to boost thickness of the lining for extra $50 or $100 .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men’s Catacomb Crest™ Interchange Jacket This coat is AWESOME! It is so warm and can be worn as 3 different coats. It has a zipped in lining that acts as a additional jacket. The outer shell can be worn alone and has warm pockets This jacket is great on the windy streets of Chicago, or the snow packed slopes in Colorado. I highly recommend this coat

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Warm Enough Turbo Down means nothing in this case, for the money, just put in more down feathers, add in a two way zipper, install two breast pockets with a side zipper so that they can be accessed and used, put in two inside zip pockets inside of down liner and make two lower pockets larger, add in a key clip in both pockets and then the coat might be worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Jacket I got this coat just in time for the NYC winter chill. So far, so good. I like the material thickness of the shell layer and the liner jacket is super warm. Fuzzy pocket lining makes a world of difference. I'm a 6'-1", 200 lb guy and I got the Medium. For other Columbia gear, I go with the Large, but I took the advice of other posters here and went a size smaller at Medium. Fits great. Perfect arm length, maybe a bit snug at the shoulders, but way better than swimming in the large. Also, this may be a minor note, but there is NO static when putting on/taking off the coat. With other 3-in-1s that have a fleece liner, my hair would stand straight up every time I came in from the outdoors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Well made, nice color, and warm. The jacket is slightly tight through the torso because of my choosing size small. I choose a small because this fits my arm length. I'm waiting for cold, damp weather to fully judge the warmth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent jack for snow and wint I use this jacket during the months of December and January in Europe. It was perfect, the layers let you use both when you are walking in the street and maybe you take out one layer when you are inside of a building. The location of the pockets let you keep your money and passport safe! I recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Great service I had to return this jacket due to the size being a little larger than expected. FYI this jacket would be considered an XL by most standards. My return was made very easy for me. Columbia is the only way to go. The warranty on these jackets is unbelievable. The brown color has on almost canvas look and feel. Great jacket.
