Men’s Compactor™ Down Hooded Jacket is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Git some. The quality is amazing, very light, very warm. The color is a little offsetting.. Dark Compass. Dark? This thing is neon turquoise. I wish it would have been advertised as such. If you wear this you will get comments and not necessarily compliments. The size running a little large is by design noobs. Down jackets are part of a layering system. This going over a base and topping a fleece midlayer is pretty near perfect as far as sizing goes. Temp range down to 20, activity is hiking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels good This jacket is so light, but warm. The smooth feel to the material is great. I plan on using this jacket as a mid layer under my ski jacket when the temperatures are in the teens and below or with wind, but I have been using this jacket as my daily jacket this winter into spring. It is just perfect in these freezing to mid 50 degee f range. Plus the color is appealing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thin and color is awful This is not a winter coat. The Dark Compass color was not dark. It was a very bright blue. I returned this item for the above reasons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light but Heavy Duty I live in beautiful and brisk North Dakota, where the temp is often well below zero. Today with windchill the temp is -22* This jacket is compact and light enough to fit in any bag and pack away but it is also heavy duty enough to withstand these freezing temps. I did my research, checked all the brands, and I am even a customer of these other brands (along with Columbia). Columbia knocked it out of the park with this jacket! The color is a brighter blue then I thought it would be but I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect jacket I bought this jacket for my partner to replace a hooded puffy coat he had for five years. We live in Chicago and the weather can get quite bad there. It’s been very cold and this jacket has kept him warm in the single digits with wind chills creeping into the negative. He was actually shocked by how warm it was based on the lightness of the jacket. It does run a little long for those with a shorter torso. Overall it’s a great jacket, and he regularly receives compliments.
