Rated 5 out of 5 by Mrmotola from Awesome running/hiking/fishing shoes I have no complaints with these. I run at least 4 times a week, average is about a 4 mile run. I also do a lot of kayak fishing and when these things get wet they dry rather quick. They are a flat shoe so it is an adjustment to your stride but overall great product

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bodie from Great shoe, fits nice and attractive to boot. Really like the fit and feel of these shoes. They are light and comfortable, while also giving me needed support. I would definitely buy again and looking forward to hitting some more trails in them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alexio from perhaps a little early to tell I wore these to the fair today, and they did great. The support is a little different from some of the other pairs of Columbia shoes that I have owned, and I am curious as to how the welded upper pieces will hold up, but I am optimistic... after all I have loved my others. I am impressed by how well they breathe (my feet sweat - eeeww).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bonaero from Great shoe I wear it at least 4 times a week and it feels very comfortable both in walking and casual biking. The front end seems to have some wear but not that bad. The width is a bit narrower for my feet and wish they had a wide version but it is still serves its purpose well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by svs247 from Great shoes right out of the box! Like the title says, these shoes were fantastic right out of the box! I work at a summer camp, which includes lots of walking/running around from activity to activity, and I need shoes that can handle less than ideal terrain while being comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. These shoes fit that bill PERFECTLY. Regarding fit and size, I would regard myself as a 13 (but I wear 14s in Nike and 12s in some other outdoor brands). I also have a somewhat wider foot, not enough to order wide shoes, but wide enough to make some "regular fits" too tight. This shoe fit exactly as I expected a 13 to fit. It was exactly the right size and width for my feet. Slipping them on was like putting on a custom-designed pair of shoes, and my feet are very comfortable all day long whether I'm running the dirt trails, climbing in and out of canoes, or teaching an archery lesson. Overall, this is a fantastic shoe! I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by AddisonPDX from Excellent Multi-Activity Footwear In my opinion, these shoes are the perfect cross training option from Columbia. The first time I wore them they reminded me of getting a new pair of running shoes. Extremely light in weight, yet, still stabilizing around the base of the shoe. The base of the shoe is very impressive. They have incredible traction on mixed terrain for a lightweight shoe. Especially on the upper sides of the foot. These have great protection around the toe and sides (the grey sections) they are almost like a soft grip tape protecting the shoe in areas of high interaction. These shoes run slightly large. I typically wear a 12 and ordered an 11.5 they are are just about right. I have a narrower foot the arch support seemed to be further towards the toe for me. Regardless of my individual foot specifications, an amazing shoe I highly recommend for trail running, casual outdoor and street wear. Side Note: Pants wore in the pictures are Men's Columbia Running Pants (you can see in my former review)

Rated 5 out of 5 by KitC from Excellent All-Around Minimal Shoe I purchased these shoes intending to wear them primarily as a casual day-to-day shoes for walking, hiking and daily living. I wasn't sure my body was up to using such a minimal shoe for actual trail running. As a casual shoe, they are generally pretty good. I do feel the laces are too long --- both the loops and the tag ends skim the ground when I tie the shoes as tight as I like. I also find that the soles are so thin that some of my pants tend to drag on the ground and I have to cuff them slightly. They are light, not too warm and were comfortable walking around town, shopping and just hanging around. I scrambled along a rocky Great Lakes shoreline and never felt like I was about to slide off the rocks into the chilly waters. I did go for a 3-mile, mixed surface run to see how they fared. I adapted to the minimal feel of the shoes within 100 yards of beginning the run. There is a little more jarring on tarmac, but it is mostly negligible. On dirt and gravel paths, they are very comfortable. On rocky, root-infested singletrack --- including some wet leaves and pine needles --- they felt very sure-footed. There were even a few wet boardwalks that the soles gripped tenaciously. The "baby head" rocks in the trail required a lot more effort on my part to stay stable on, as these shoes seem to lack the firm soles of other trail running shoes I've used in the past. Since this was expected, I wouldn't count it against the shoes. As a casual, everyday shoe, I would give them 4 stars. As a hiking or trail running shoe, I would give them 5 -- as long as you are expecting the support and cushioning of a minimalist shoe.
