Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dry Feet - light boots i purchased these boots more for winter weather in the pacific north west - essentially to have dry feet for 1-2 hour hikes, dog walks, winter kids soccer watching etc. I also plan to use them in the summer for all around use salmon guiding in boats - so i wanted something that was light and waterproof -was not looking for the full on hiking boot per se. these boots are very light and they don;t have the rigidity that boots more suited to mountaineering would - which was a good thing for me, although i may consider taking them hiking. They have been 100 % waterproof and they seem quite tough too, but its early days. i get the feeling that they will not "break in" in the same way other boots do, due to the materials they are made with - I have an OUTDRY jacket as well which i really like - again 100 % waterproof and seems quite tough (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fraying after a month I was excited to own these and really wanted them to be my go-to shoes for years. Where the rubber meets the mesh on top of the toe is beginning to separate right where the to bends. I have only owned them for 5 weeks. And it isn't a little, it's almost an inch! The ankle support is great and they're waterproof so far. But I just cannot believe Columbia would put their name on something that comes apart so easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So comfortable My husband loved his shoes. He wears a supportive insert inside and says they are the most comfortable boot he's ever worn. His ankles and feet have hurt in other shoes but he is very happy with this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from cheap rubber coated boots What a disappointment. They look like canvas material sprayed with non-breathable rubber. Come on Columbia Gore-Tex type technology is old news. Get with the times. Danka Pass Omi boots were the best. These do not deserve the Danska Pass brand name

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Falling apart Started out really liking these boots. Comfortable, light good traction. Stood in a moving stream, ankle deep, feet were dry until water went over the top. At that point I loved them, then they started peeling at the toe cap. After 5 days in the backcountry both boots were peeling off. Still waterproof but looking bad. For the money there are better boots made in the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MEN'S DASKA PASS™ III These boots are very light construction with a soft walk on the inside. Definitely a good year round boot. I haven't had much time to test the durability of them on trails and streams yet this year but soon will.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Alaska approved I am a guide in Alaska. These are the only boots I own. They have been great for every activity I engage in here in Ketchikan. From hiking up mountains to trips in the boat and on the rocky beaches, they keep my feet dry. The grip is sure which is extremely important on a steep mountain trail. I wear a regular 13. The size is perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Titanium Outdry boots The only problem I have its the hard plastic lining on the inside rubs against my left ankle and is slightly uncomfortable. Otherwise, the boots are great.
