FailureThe other reviews for this shoe are 100% correct. I experienced the same failure while I was in Alaska. Luckily I had something to repair the separation from the sole, but it didn't prevent my feet from getting soaked. I repaired one side and then the other side failed on me. Other than that, they're lightweight and fairly comfortable... just unreliable.

DisappointingThe claim of these shoes being waterproof and breathable are untrue.
I have done some dry weather paved road walking before taking then out hiking and noticed the shoes did not breathe as well as advertised resulting in mildly wet feet.
After the first day of hiking it became clear that these shoes were not waterproof at all. Going through the wet grass i could feel it slowly seeping in my shoes.
After a while it looked like the seems where the sole is attached to the shoe (and a few other places) were starting to get undone which resulted in my feet getting soaked and having to replace them.
Don`t buy these boots.

Boots Fall Apart after 2 weeksTo all considering buying these boots,
If you want a pair of boots to stroll around downtown Toronto or walking trails around the city these are ideal. Although, if you plan on going on long treks through thick bush and swamp these are not reliable candidates.
I'm a geologist and do lots of hiking in the woods for work and rely on a good pair of boots to get me through the day. After two weeks of my three week rotation the soles began to separate from the shoe.
I thought i would return the boots to the outlet store in London where i bought them to only find out it takes 4-6 weeks to recieve my return. Not only have the boots left me frustrated but the company leaving me heading back to work without boots is extremely disappointing.
My new Zamberlans are treating me quite well.
