Great fabric
Shirt quality is excellent. Fits small through the shoulders and sleeves. Great value if you get the correct size.

too small
Hos is this thing an XXL? Very small for its size. Almost unwearable.

The wrinkled look
This shirt is only OK. It fits tight across the shoulders, which is tolerable. The most disappointing part is that after washing it how wrinkled it became. I guess it is supposed to have the seersucker wrinkled look, but that isn't what the picture showed.

Shirt runs way too narrow.
I have purchased many Columbia shirts, and this one appears to run very narrow in the arms. Not normal for Columbia.

Great Shirt
bought 2 of these shirts. First Columbia shirts I've bought. It is a touch bigger than most medium shirts but doesn't look bad. I think this will be a good summer shirt, its pretty light weight. Great value right now as well since I got 2 shirts a $25 when they normally cost $50.

Wrinkled after wash
I bought three of these shirts for a hike I went on from Leadville to 10th Mountain Huts. I wore these over Mountain Tech II long sleeve shirts. The shirts were a second layer to keep me warm and they did the job. Before I left for my trip, I washed these shirts as instructed and I also washed them a second time and hang dried them before drying them on low. Both times the shirts came out of the washer and drier looking as if the plaid sections were puffy.
I would recommend them for what I needed them for but I don't like the fact that they looked so wrinkled.

not what I expected
I have lots of Columbia brand clothes, pants/ shirts/ jackets etc and have had some items for more years than I can remember
this shirt came out of the wash with lots of wrinkles in the plaid pattern of the shirt, a first for that kind of wrinkle pattern and the first shirt from Columbia I was really disappointed with
I was hoping for something simple, just wash and wear, if I had know it was going to do this I would never have gotten it

good for Phoenix heat
Long sleeves can be cool. Nice fit - not baggy. I am a fan of dressing for protection from sun rather than using gallons of sun-screen and this is sun protection.

I love the seersucker fabric
This fabric looks great without coming right out of the dryer. I would have not thought of this material for a man....but it looks great on my man.

GOODbuy!
an all around nice shirt. after reading other reviews, i went down a size with this shirt - normally wearing a medium, i bought a small, and it fits comfortably.
my only complaint is after the first wash/dry, it now has a "puckered" appearance throughout the entire shirt. but overall, a good purchase.

Nice shirt!
I really like this shirt. I have several of these of both styles - large and small plaid pattern. They seem to be just a little tight across the shoulders, but I don't mind this kind of fit. The arms are also just a tad bit long. The small plaid pattern is a slightly different fabric than the large plaid fabric and tends to pill a little bit where it rubs on a jacket or vest. I also notice that the wrinkles that were there from folding don't come out with a washing. Other than those small niggles they are a very well-made shirt with great colors!

Not Good
OK, these arrived yesterday and looked amazing right out of the bag. However, after a wash today and a quick tumble dry on low heat (as per the care instructions) my shirts are now a puffy mess and not wearable. I even tried to iron the puffy (looks like puffy or lumpy dimples or dots in the fabric) portions out but to no avail. Truly let down by these shirts, they had such promise, but are now on their way back to the factory for a refund. Don't bother with these unless you plan on never washing them.

Comfortable shirt to wear
I like the material and looks of the long sleeve shirt. Very comfortable to wear. Only thing is the sleeves were a bit too long on the shirt.

Declination Trail Shirt
I am very satisfied with the purchase of my new declination trail shirt. The size fits perfect and allows me move freely with no tight areas. The material is great, and special for the heat of south Texas. I highly recommend this shirt!

Just right
Needed a shirt to handle a variety of situations from a woodland hike to casual times or even the office. Comfotable cloth that doesn't need an iron. Breathes and protects. I'm 6' tall and 170 and the Medium fits fine on my long arms.

Comfort, Fit, Good Looks
It seems that XL shirts are all over the landscape, size-wise. This model fits me well, as the somewhat shorter sleeves for an XL work better for me than other shirts from Columbia.
I like the softness and comfort and rather like the look of the "pucker" of the material after washing the first time. Price is right, too.

Not what we thought
This shirt looks great on the website, but we were disappointed after the initial washing. First I dried it in the dryer, then the next time I air-dried it, but I had the same result: puckering all over the shirt. It looks old and used instead of new. I haven't tried ironing it yet. My husband says it's soft, and that's about the only redeeming quality. For the price, I would return it if I could.

Declination Trail Shirt
I received the shirt within the shipping dates and was impressed by the quality of the shirt (the fabric and design was very pleasing). However when I put the shirt on, it was too large. I returned it in order to get a new, smaller size. Other than the fit of the shirt, I was very pleased with this product.

Perfect for traveling
soft velvety feel, great colors for fall and camouflaging accidental spills. Nice fit for the average guy. Packs well and casual and dressy enough for night out in Europe. size of shirt is misleading. Had to get small/p. which is equivalent to the old fashioned men's medium. The medium was too long in the sleeve and too big for my frame so had to get small for my 39chest 15 1/2 " neck. New normal sizing of this century is not the same as the 1970's and 80's.
