Great Down JacketI used this down jacket while thru-hiking the AT, guiding in Montana, Rock Climbing, and just for around town. It is probably the best down jacket I've ever owned and, I've owned quite a few. I actually own two, one in black and one in red (the black one is for around town).
The jacket is really really light, so light that it makes you really doubt that it will even work but it will keep you warm, the fabric performs well in a drizzle keeping moisture off and is completely windproof. I've used it in the teens with a base layer on underneath and it kept my torso decently warm, though I'd say the comfort rating for just walking around is in the thirties or high twenties, if you were actively moving around it should keep you warm in the twenties. The omni-heat coating on the inside looks kinda goofy but i really do think it keeps more heat, my friend has the MHW Ghost Whisperer and we both swear that my jacket is warmer. if it doesn't actually do anything at the least its a conversation point. Every time I wear the black one i get a compliment on it, literally every single time so its a good looking jacket I'd say.
There are a couple of not so great things about the jacket though, since the material is so light it does allow the down feathers to poke through pretty regularly but you can just pull those back in so its not too big of a deal. The material isn't the most durable looking thing but what else can you expect from something that's so light, I haven't had any problems yet but I've been careful. It does have a shiny look to it but really any ultralight jacket that I've seen has it as well. The hood though is pretty poorly fitted, if you have the hood on and look left or right it doesn't turn with you, its just a little too big. Although it being too big does allow me to wear a climbing helmet underneath while having the hood on (the hood then does move when you turn). But really none of those things are a big deal.
tl;dr I would highly recommend this jacket for anyone looking for a light weight down jacket to keep them toasty.

Not for meNot a fan of this jacket, it does indeed look similar to a garbage bag especially in black. The material feels cheap it does not seem to be very durable. The logo also looks like it would wear off the jacket within a month of steady use. I'm not sure if its the jackets technology in being super lightweight because it in fact is. The fill is 1000 down but it seems like there is hardly anything inside maybe a few wisps of down fill. The features are great with the thermal lining and 1000 rated fill but I just can't get over how cheap it feels.
I'm 5'8 180lbs and a size M fits just snug. The jacket falls above the hips and is a bit on the tighter side around the waist. If i bought a large to allow for a looser fit, the sleeves would be way too long so getting a large would be out of the question. My only gripe is that there would be more room in the waist area to accommodate bending and squatting.

Looks Like a Garbage BagThis is one disappointing product. It looks better in the picture, but when you wear it, you look like wearing a garbage bag. The price doesn't gives justice to the product. One disappointed customer in here.
