Rated 4 out of 5 by JimPrideaux from Good pacable rain coat This is a good fitting garment intended as a light weight rain coat. Its over the hip length, long sleeves and hood are exactly what I wanted for a travel rain coat. It will fold up small enough that it will fit into one of the pockets, good for packing luggage, and to carry around in my day bag. I appreciate the mesh liner and the breathability, this was a decision maker for me. The only down side is the fabric is noisy, at least initially. Perhaps with wear this will quiet down. Rated 5 out of 5 by BLSChuck from Cautiously Optimistic This jacket is an upgrade from my, Watertight II. I have yet to have the opportunity to give this a "true test", but based upon my initial thoughts, here is my review. Material feels like it would hold up to a real drenching. I spent a day out in the rain in my Watertight II and the material absorbed water after a rather short time, this jacket feels like it would repel all day. The micromesh lining is comfortable, I just wish it went all the way to the cuff of the sleeve. You get about 3/4 arm coverage, but from midforearm down it is like the same material as a windbreaker. I can return and edit or update depending on how it performs after an all day session in the rain. This seems like a high quality jacket. I wore it this weekend while out shopping for campers in a drizzle, stayed dry and dad long as I was outside, I didn't overheat in the jacket. One last thing, I would size up at least one size. I went up two and it is only slightly too long in the sleeves and fits great everywhere else (6'2" 300 lbs 'evenly distributed' lol).
