Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain and Wind Beware Has performed flawlessly during our recent rainy stretch in Vermont. The nifty drawstrings on either side of the waist and hood really help keep the wind out, a very nice touch and very much appreciated when out at elevation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Bought this for a trip to Alaska. Weather would go from Warm & Sunny to Cold & Rainy throughout the day. This jacket was perfect. Stayed completely dry. Multiple vents available for when it got warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for my guy Snagged this jacket for an early birthday gift for my boyfriend, and the fit is great! He’s 5’10” and “slim fit”, medium was perfect length. Roomy enough for a fleece underneath. Adjustable hood for rain/wind. Note that the underarm vents are not protected with mesh or anything, it’s just open under those zippers. Hasn’t rained in Iowa for a while, but I expect it’ll do just fine as a shell!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellect product This was a gift for my boyfriend, he loves the jacket. The jacket has a great vibrant blue color, it performs as it says in the description, is lightweight, is well design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! Ordered this jacket and absolutely love it. Very light weight. I ordered the steel/zinc jacket and am in love with the green accent. It's great that it's easily packable as well

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Shell I selected this shell as a replacement for a previous Columbia coat featuring Omnitech external material and a reflective interior material. I really liked that coat but parts of it are warn out. This new Evapouration coat is very well made. The shell is a very water proof. The interior is a little sticky to the touch when damp due to condensation. If warn in warm wet conditions, the material feels sticky to skin not covered by other material. I don't care for this aspect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, but Great jacket with terrific water repellancy except the zipper is difficult to get started for some reason...once started it works well just a small hiccup! Thank you! Have needed a replacement rain jacket for quite some time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight shell Purchased as a replacement shell. Mostly used as outer shell for bike ride to/from work. This product appears to be very well designed and constructed. Also very light weight. The venting works well too. The oversized hood is a great idea and fits over my bike and climbing helmets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolute Quality Let me begin by first saying that this rain jacket absolutely exceeded my expectations, and has kept me warm and dry through the worst of conditions! I live in south Georgia, and when it rains here, it POURS. I got this jacket just in time to test it out while Hurricane Matthew was passing by, and it performed flawlessly. Having had this jacket for a few more months I am glad to say it is still just like brand-new, and I have found that there are so many benefits and unique features to this jacket. Pros: -Keeps water out no questions asked -Keeps wind out (Even in 60mph gusts!) -Extremely durable/High quality materials -Looks so much better than most rain jackets -The styling/fit are perfect, not baggy and no extraneous material flapping around -You can pack this jacket into itself, just stuff it into the left-hand pocket and zip it up, and its lightweight! -It has a chest pocket that is fully waterproof -All of the zippers are covered so that they are waterproof as well. -Tons of adjustment points: (1 cinch on the back of the head/2 cinches around the neck/2 cinches around the waist/) -Velcro straps around the wrist area are second-to-none for keeping water out -1 Hanging strap on the back of the hood -1 adjustable velcro strap on inside of jacket so you can hang this anywhere to dry! -2 Zip-up vents under each arm Cons: -Can get a little bit tropical inside the jacket if you're really working hard, but this can be remedied easily by opening up the underarm zippers . Overall this jacket shows that Columbia really knew what they were doing when designing it to be used by outdoor professionals. It build upon the elements of the non-premium version and makes the jacket near perfect for anybody. I would highly recommend this jacket for anybody, you won't be disappointed, but you will be envied!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the Same Quality I have a similar jacket from Columbia that I bought years ago and wanted to replace. Since the descriptions online are incomplete I emailed a photo of my old jacket and a description to customer service to see what they had like it. Results: - No lining! It's like wearing a plastic bag. The places your skin touch the jacket feel cold and wet. - No "map" pocket. My old one had a pocket inside next to the zipper I used to keep papers dry. The external breast pocket is OK but allows more exposure to the elements when putting things in. - Runs a little smaller than the old one--about 1 size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't wait for the rain!! I'll start by saying I have not been able to wear this in the rain as of yet, which is the ONLY reason for the 4 star rating. This jacket is very well made, with what appear to be totally waterproof zippers and seams. The hood is very roomy but adjustable for fit and the pit zips are very large. I can't wait for the rain to come around again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from expensive windbreaker I purchased this jacket to replace my 19 year old Columbia winter jacket, blue with the zip in/out liner, I bought this product at your main store in Portland years ago and love it. One of the sleeves is wearing thin and the insulation comes out from time to time. The jacket I purchased is nice but is an expensive windbreaker, I wanted something more substantial, more pockets more storage compartments similar to the one I have. Your heavier winter jacket comes in a shinny fabric that I do not care for, it's nothing like your older product, I returned the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As Advertised The shell does what it is supposed to, keep you dry! It does run a bit small and the hood is a bit large (it is designed to accommodate a helmet). But over all it is a great shell to keep out the rain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good jacket, but too expensive. The jacket is nice and does its job, but it's a little thin than what expected. I wouldn't pay $130 for it, but maybe for $70.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Ordered this jacket to provide a lightweight, breathable layer for fall. I bought it one size up as I planned to wear it over other layers. Fits great, is very breathable, and sheds water completely. I used it in an all day rain event and stayed completely dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an excellent raincoat! I purchased this raincoat looking for something that would keep me dry, but not make me hot while wearing it. I tend to get warm very easily while hiking or doing other outdoor activities. I've worn it a few times since I bought it, and love it. This coat is excellent because it is breathable, and keeps me cool while staying waterproof. I originally purchased a medium because I fit the measurements on the website, but had to return it because it was a bit tight in the shoulders. The large fits much better. I'm very pleased with the coat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised By Material I chose this jacket to replace one that was unable to be repaired through the warranty program. I have been very surprised by how wrinkles in the jacket do not stick around, especially after being bundled up and packed into the pocket. The jacket has performed very well, and I've been thankful for the under-arm vents in warmer albeit wet weather.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not used yet I have not used this product yet beyond trying it on for size. The description says it folds into a pocket but there are no instructions telling you how to do this

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Titan Rain Coat very nice rain jacket. vents very well. comfortable as both an everyday jacket and when exercising. purchased a size larger than specified since it was an "active" fit and I prefer a bit more room. excellent purchase. I returned a defective Columbia rain jacket due to a faulty zipper. I was pleased that this new jacket uses the YKK zipper - the best in the business.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent windbreaker Even though the jacket runs a little large, it has drawstrings for a more snug fit. I love the physical appearance and the functionality of the jacket. I would definitely recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Just got my new rain jacket here and just in time too, came into a tropical storm here along the Treasure Coast in Florida and this thing performs great. Its everything I expected coming out of the PNW! The fit and finish of this jacket is fantastic. I'm glad I opted for the Titanium version instead of the regular Evapourtion jacket. Got mine in the Black/Shark color way and its awesome. Very clean lines, breathable in this Florida humidity and it has a Rain-X like effect, it just beads off beautifully. Hood is big enough to hide in, everything is adjustable, and this is loaded with features. Columbia please release Titanium pants to match this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice product The product fits a little small, but it truly protects against the rain. I recommend it for really good rain protection.
