Rated 5 out of 5 by Lg95 from Fishing pants I ordered these to use when I am trying to reel in the big one. They seem to be constructed well and convenient to help with my gear. Highly recommend to buy a pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TheKevz from Functional It's a little pricey for a pair of pants but you get what you pay for, I enjoy it, the pant is functional, I like the water repellent material, I especially like the integrated plier keep on the right side and all the zip tight pockets are bonuses

Rated 5 out of 5 by Guninstructor from Best fishing pants ever I saw the force 12 at a west marine first, but they didnt have my size. I was so intrigued that when I got home I went to columbia.com and ordered. They thought of everything with these pants. Light and breathable so they dont get hot, yet super resilient. The fabric is stretchy so it moves with you, yet it doesnt feel flimsy at all. Blood and gut resistant, definitely. My first outing with these and I was getting sprayed by mackerel blood and guts while making chum, and it all ran right off. The reinforcement zones are in all the right places, and the pliers pocket is even well thought out. I only wish the pliers pocket was available on the left side, but i am used to having to live in a right handed world. If you want an awesome pair of pants for the next tuna trip these are defeniitely the ones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ErkE from Not All Pants Are Created Equal I love these pants, I use them from little yard work to hiking in the Gorge. They are tough but super light. I'm one of those people that can get dirty in church and these pants still look amazing. My one complaint is that they are a but tight in the waist and a bit tight in the crotch. I assumed that they would be like the PFG shirts that are always a bit baggy, but these run tight. I like the fitted feel though. I'm going to wear these until they are wore out and them in going to get another pair. they are just far too nice of a pant to give up on them for being slightly tight in the crotch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Clay7 from Good I bought these pants as a light outerlayer when I was doing some hiking. I ended up ripping a hole in the bottom when I sat on a boulder. They are super comfy. Keep in mind - it's a little tighter around the hips due to the zipper pockets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lefthandcaster from Wet wade pant-perfect Material is not heavy when wet. Good dry time. Zip pocket a plus. My two favorite things are the strech material and the protected knee cover. I do a lot of wet wading on small streams, the pant is perfect. I don't have to wory about kneeling on rocks, jumping in a pool or sliding down a bank. Strong and well placed belt hoops really help, I use the belt as a gear keeper. The only down side is I am left handed and the pliers keeper is on the right. My friends in waders this summer are going out to find a pair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BobcatRich from Comfortable but far from water repelling Very nice light weight pant to wear but do NOT expect them to keep you dry in the rain. Columbia doesn't claim they are waterPROOF but rather repellent. I should have realized that meant "less absorbent than cotton". I love Columbia gear but I was soaked to the bone within minutes in a typical Portland rain storm. For $130 I expected more.
