Men’s Gold 650 TurboDown™ Down Jacket - Big is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and ridiculously warm The only improvement I would make to this particular jacket, which is ridiculously light and warm, would be to add an inside pocket. The existing pockets are good, nice and deep, but it would be good to have somewhere to put my sunglasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket This jacket runs small, and I had to return it for one size larger. Bought it as a gift and they love it. Warm, light weight and "not too puffy". Also bought the Tall as it runs short. So if you are on the tall side I would consider the Tall. Is able to handle the cold Utah weather just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best jacket I've ever owned I love my new jacket. It is light but very warm. Its the only jacket I wear when the weather turns cold. I will only buy Columbia cold weather gear from now on. Thanks Ron

Rated 2 out of 5 by from too small I have previously purchased the 650 Turbodown down vest size XL which runs little large to the size, which is perfect for me and I am very satisfied with the product. This time I ordered the 650 Turbodown down jacket in 1X size, as width specs were the same as the XL vest, but the described length supposed to be 1 inch longer. What arrived, although with marked size 1X, is much smaller, feels like barely size L and is too tight, it is for sure not longer than my vest, and the sleeves are too narrow - I'm not an athlete pumping iron, just a regular old guy, and can barely put my arms into sleeves. Not happy at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Jacket The jacket was quality, but too short for me. I bought a 3X, and I should have a 4XLT. I am 6'5, and long torso

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I spend my winters in Siberia , just 10 miles south of the Russian border, in past years I wore my older Columbia ski jacket , it was pretty comfortable to about 10 F , but now with my new Turbo down 650 Gold I have yet to even feel cold at all , I was outside walking for about 3 hours today , it was -10F with a slight wind , I wore a thin layer under my new jacket , was very comfortable , when I stopped in a store I didn't need to take off my jacket , my old one was always suddenly to warm in doors , but the Turbo Down adjusted very well, of course I had on my Russian blue fox fur hat, and long underwear under my pants. Great product , very light weight and comfortable , it will be -40F here next week , might need another layer under jacket ) !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Omni heat Purchase jacket because I needed a down jacket and had never really owned one until now. My first impression while wearing it in the elements was wow its cold everywhere else with the exception of my core. The Omni heat really reflects the body heat really well creating a nice warmth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Columbia Products I hadn’t had the opportunity, to wear my rain coat, until we got hit with a blizzard on February 2, 2015. The rain coat kept me totally dry. I just love it over any other rain coat that I own. Besides the rain coat, I recently purchased a Columbia, Turbo Down jacket 650TD. It contains the OMI Heat and the down. The jacket is water resistant, but not water proof. The blizzard enables me to wear the Columbia, water proof pants, my son bought me as a gift, to blow snow. I was out blowing snow for 6 hours one day and 8 hours the following day The wind was blowing at 35MPH. We received 19 inches of snow. I wore the water proof pants a long sleeve shirt, the Turbo Down jacket and the rain coat over the jacket. I was more comfortable than I ever was blowing snow before. I was totally dry, totally comfortable, toasty warm and very proud to own these three pieces of clothing apparel by Columbia. I have a one suggestion on the pants: You can sell more of these pants if the had padded knees for the ice fishermen that constantly kneel on the ice. The ice can be sharp at times. I wouldn’t want to wear a hole in these pants ice fishing I’d honestly be afraid to wear them in fear of damaging these fine pants.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pocket zippers get caught on the inside nylon ALL THE TIME I actually like this jacket - it's light, warm and stylish. But the pocket zippers get caught on the inside nylon all the time. And I do mean ALL THE TIME. I don't know who designed this and/or did quality assurance but they dropped the ball big time. The side pockets are also the ONLY pockets on this coat so it's not like you can even avoid them for an inside pocket. So you're fighting with them all the time. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 650 Turbodown jacvket I really like the jacket - could use a bit more sway room, but very comfortable - o bad no other colors, lighter shades maybe - love it anyway, very toasty warm any weather !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket Of course now the jacket is on sale and I bought this last week when it wasn't. Oh well. I've always bought Columbia Jackets. Until the past few years, the sizing seems to be an issue for some reason and I need to go a size up. This coat is great. I went up a size and have plenty of room. I do wish it was a bit longer in length and that there was a inside or outside chest pocket, not a deal breaker. I still can't believe how light it is and warm. Columbia..nice job..please work on your sizing issues, you used to be so generous and now it's more restrictive.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product disappointment I expected the coat to be thicker and puffy. It's very thin and does not keep Your body warm. I don't know what the lining is supposed to do? It definitely doesn't warm you or deflect the cold wind. For the price I paid I expected better quality. If I wanted a packable coat I would have ordered one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not happy with quality I bought this coat for my husband online. We did a lot of research on turbo down and felt this was the best purchase. We orders a 2X but when we received it was to small for him and the sleeves where really tight. I would suggest ordering a size up. Also when I took it out of the package there was feathers already being lost and the zipper felt flimsy. Overall I wasn't super impressed with the quality of the material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WARM WARM N WARM I live in Chicago where u can have different weather in the blink of an eye n it's cold right now -2 degrees n I'm toasty warm. When I got in the car I was too warm so just unzipped n was fine. Ordered me my fiãnce, and my daughter all these coats. U won't be disappointed. But they run small, the active fit does so order 1 size bigger.
