Men’s Gold 650 TurboDown™ Down Jacket - Tall is rated out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Andrew42 from Best overall jacket This jacket is amazing! Form meets function with this very comfortable and water resistant jacket. I wore it snowboarding and stayed very comfortable in terms of temperature and it allowed me to move freely without being weighed down with a larger jacket. It’s also great to wear out when you need to dress up a bit too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jackknife from Great jacket but nowhere near a "Tall" size I ordered a 2XT in this jacket. I'm about 6'5" and about 290. 2XT in any garment usually fits me fine. I'm bigger in the chest and shoulder areas and have a bit of a belly on me. When I pulled this out of the package I knew instantly it wasn't going to fit me. It was comically short. My wife was also shocked at how short the jacket was. Besides being too short it was tight around my chest and shoulders and forearms. This jacket is "form" fitted and designed to hit you right at the waist. The Modern Classic fit is too form fitting for us larger guys. I have jackets and t-shirts that aren't Tall sizes that are longer than this thing. Kind of confused because I tried on a 2XT jacket at a Columbia store and it fit fine but it wasn't heavy enough for what I was looking for. So if you're looking for something that is a little long on you stay way from this jacket. I'd get a 3XT hopefully for more length but I fear it would just hang on me. Really disappointed. Definitely being returned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by David76 from Nice, warm shoulders. My previous jacket had very little insulation on the shoulders, this one has insulation and it 's more comfortable. It fits snugly, particular on the forearms, which I'm guessing they are designed that way to make the jacket the first layer next to the skin... you couldn't put a basic hoodie under this jacket, PS It's Christmas Eve and it was 72 today, my nifty new jacket is't getting much use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Heather694 from Great jacket! I bought this gold 650 jacket in XL Tall for my son who is 6'5". He often has challenges finding a proper fitting jacket, but this is his favorite by far. Not only does it fit perfect it's warm and light weight. A year latter he is loving it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by 57tbird from TurboDown 650 TD Leaves you with a wet clamy feeling The 650TD keeps you dry and relitively warm. When worn for extended time you feel wet and clamy from the jacket. Serves the purpose, but the jacket leaves you feeling uncomfortable for extended wearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mattyb from Great coat for cold weather I'm tall 6'6" so I need a big and tall coat. This one worked out great. Light weight but warm at the same time. Good quality at a great price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BigGuyNY from Roomy & warm but needs pockets. I love this jacket. It is warm and roomy and very light weight. I purchased this item specifically due to it being available in extended sizes and tall options. This was intended for layering under a hard goretex shell for extended outdoor winter play. Since I'm built like an NFL linebacker and like to layer for optimum warmth and protection, there are few choices for oversize options out there. I am 6'2" and weigh abt 315. I normally wear a 3 xl tall. Needs at least one interior and exterior slash pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TerryS from Amazing jacket Amazing jacket. It's so light, compact, but very warm. Can't feel any wind in it. I've been wearing it in wind chill factors of 8 degrees, and I'm very warm in it. I'm a big guy, 3XL Tall and the jacket fits comfortably. If you are a "perfect" size you might want to think about dropping down a size as I think the jacket runs a little large; but it fits me great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BigDogFlyfisher from Warmest Jacket I have ever owned I live in one of the coldest places in the lower 48 at an elevation of 6600' ft and winter lasts for at least seven months. Just got this jacket and it is extremely warm. As far as the size goes it is true to fit. I am 6'4" / 350 lbs and with a 4XLT I still have more than enough room to layer. I would definitely recommend this jacket

Rated 4 out of 5 by toddie from Good but not Great I wear XLT and the sleeves of this coat fit very well. However, the length of the coat is short for tall person. It definitely looks longer in the pictures than it really is. It also doesn't have a cell phone pocket at all. In this day and age, a cell phone pocket is expected, at least by me. Now on the very positive side, this coat is very warm. I was shocked when the box arrived and it felt empty. The coat is very light. However, do any activity at all and you will start to get very warm. They got this part right.

Rated 2 out of 5 by DanIam from Not as warm as advertised This purchase has made me leery of making bigger purchases online. It was advertised as "the warmest, softest and lightest-weight jacket we make". It is soft and light, but very much not warm. I first tried it out here in Chicago. I wore it over a sweater in the low 20s and froze. It is being returned. It's nice, it fits, but is definitely not a winter jacket in a region of the country that actually has a winter. Oh, and now I have to pay for return shipping. Bummed out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zj7909 from Good jacket Good jacket pretty warm. Nice and light. Black is well Columbia black. Close enough. It's warm and wind resisant. It is light but runs a little small in the shoulder area and is not a long as I expected for a tall. Im a 3xlt but I ordered a 4xlt. All in all would buy again. Warm and super light weight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by YosemiteG from TurboDown Men's Jacket I bought this to replace an 11 ounce 850+ down fill-jacket which I used in ultralight backpacking; this jacket weighs in at 27 ounces in a large tall which was something of a disappointment when saving a couple of ounces is important. There is only a little "puff" to this jacket, which was a surprise, yet the down and synthetic fill still seem effective, and coupled with the silvered lining, this jacket gave good warmth alone and under a shell in very cold weather. The sleeves do not have drawstring closures or elastic, so they are "open" to the outside air. There was enough room to allow layering under the garment if that were required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RobAlaska from Great, Comfortable, Warm Coat I live in Alaska, so I needed a comfy, warm coat for the winters here. Coat was shipped quickly here and now I'm wearing it all the time. However, I rated the sizing a bit small. According to the size chart, it seemed an XLTall would have been the right fit for me. I'm 6'6'', 260lbs, a big guy with a slightly above average belly, but still for tall guy, I have an average build, so I ordered the XLT first. When I tried it on though, it was a little small, especially in the armpit area. So I returned it, and reordered a 3XLT, and that was the one for me. I am very happy with this coat, and plan to use it for a long time!
