Rated 5 out of 5 by HardRocks from great product--but? This outer jacket is designed to add an inner zip-in liner. I love the jacket but cannot find any information about purchasing a compatible liner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by EvanFromOnline from After over a year of use. After owning this jacket for almost 2 years I wanted to give anyone looking into buying this jacket a few pros and cons: Pros: Stylish (Modern look), very water resistant, comfortable, the longer you are wearing the jacket at a time the better the omni-heat works (and yes it really does work!), deep pockets with zippers and rain flaps, outer chest pocket with water proof zipper, adjustable hood and cuffs, overall great product. If you're looking more for a windbreaker/soft shell then this is perfect! Cons: Price is a little steep for a shell, it appears as if this jacket would be warm enough for a cold winter but it is just a thin shell with no isolation on the inside and you will need to purchase a zip in fleece to fit inside it to stay warm, has no internal pockets, only has a total of 3 pockets, inside of pocket ripped out of chest pocket from normal use. If you're looking for a thick, warm, winter jacket then this is not for you. Overall I cannot complain with this jacket, it does exactly what it is meant to do and it does it well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tjfromillinois from This review probably won't get posted I got an email asking for a review, I already posted a negative review about this product and it was apparently deleted. This product is misleading as it is a raincoat not much warmth to speak of. The website is poor because their is no link to the optional liners you WILL need. Not impressed with this company right now. If you ask for reviews, you really should post the all positive and negative reviews. You deleted my last review don't delete this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1WFS from Excellent cool weather coat I have a winter weight version of this jacket and love it. It's like having furnace surrounding you in cold wet weather. I expect the results will be good when the weather turns cool this fall. This would not be a cold weather coat without layering some fleece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JimmyD from Men's Heater-Change™ Jacket Purchased as a summer raincoat and love the extra lining to extend the wear to Early Spring and Late Fall days. I would layer up if worn in temps under freezing. The detail in design is very good with plenty of pockets. In particular I like the fabric since I am wearing for business during inclement rainy weather. The hood comes in handy and the rain beads up. I have a 35" sleeve length and the XL fits great without ordering the tall size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Luca2245 from It's just a light jacket It's very comfortable but not warm enough. For this price, I think it will be super warm but when I tested it in the cold whether in NY (10 degree in F). The jacket is very light without internal layer, so if you plan to wear it in cold winter I recommend you to purchase an extra internal layer, and the total price of this jacket will be around $200, not a good deal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kitsune from I wanted a COAT and got a JACKET I was super excited when I ordered this... until it arrived and I opened the box. I have been wanting to get a nice winter coat for a while now and have always had Columbia in mind; that's why I bought this. Unfortunately, I was under the impression I was buying an actual winter coat but ended up with this light weight jacket piece of junk. What the heck, man? I saw 'Interchange' and figured "Oh yeah! It's one of those that you can take the liner out of." WRONG!!!! Just this stupid light weight thing. I am horribly disappointed and I'm sending it back ASAP. Let this be a warning to anyone wishing to purchase a winter coat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by AlaskanRedneck from Best buy! Ordered this jacket. I am a Alaskan big game hunting guide this jacket is perfect for cold and water situations I wear it on the sheep mountains when it rains a lot and there is no place to get out of the rain and also while raft hunting for moose in class 2-4 rabbits in 20 degree weather while getting completely soaked on the outside this jacket did its job on the inside and was completely bone dry and warm! I Use it with the PFG Rain pants and together there is not an OZ of water in the world that can get on you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Really warm and perfectly dry. Had to replace immediately after purchase because of broken elastic in the hood. (This was not a hassle at all and the folks at the Seattle store were great.) Functions perfectly in cold and/or rainy weather. An excellent purchase I would definitely recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CampingChuck from Omni Tech is a joke I received this jacket several years ago as a gift and loved it! Till I went out in the rain. This jacket leaked worse than a sieve. Although it wasn't a new jacket, this did not hold up well at all. I am in the process now of searching for a replacement which will have Gore tex, no substitutes. I always thought Columbia made good stuff and I guess they do (for a limited time) but several of their products haven't held up. I do have some fishing shirts I really like but I question if they'll last more than a year to two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MD22 from Versatile and Stylish Intended for use as lightweight travel jacket that would not take up valuable luggage space this jacket has also become the go-to winter coat. You won't need to plus up a size to allow room for sweater/sweatshirt. Feels great, looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by dswenn from Great Jacket! Love this jacket! Everything I was looking for and as advertised. The fact I can zip my other Columbia insulated soft shell into this jacket for added warmth is outstanding. The fit is perfect, the weight is light. The Omni-Heat is a plus, and the zippered openings under the arms allow you to cool off if need be. Only two small suggestions. 1. Have a way to store the hood. Either by rolling it up and securing it, or detaching it completely and placing it in a pouch in the jacket made specifically for the hood. As it stands, if the hood is on, it remains hanging loose. If the hood is detached, one must occupy a pocket to hold it, or store it elsewhere. 2. The main zipper of the jacket could be a little more sturdy. In the end, this jacket is great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Martin5156 from excellent jacket I really didn't want to spend the money on a nice waterproof jacket but finally bit the bullet and after the short wait for shipping i was not upset with my purchase. The weather in Germany is always rainy and this jacket has been amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Vrika from Great trail / walking jacket I'm in love with this jacket - its lighter, thinner than other Columbia jackets with the OmniHeat, but that makes it a great packable jacket, with hood - the fact that its also waterproof is something I'm hoping to test soon in california, but its been perfect for our coolish mornings iwth just a long sleeve tshirt underneath. Will update when I have more temp ranges.

Rated 3 out of 5 by HoundofUlster from Goodness, Ho Hum! Main zipper is half the size of the zip-in liner attachment, despite being used with every on and off. This should be reversed - put the sturdier zipper where it gets the most use-abuse. Poor design. The main zipper is one way. There is no facility to unzip from the bottom, useful when driving of seated outdoors. Thoughtless design. No interior pocket or storage. Pit zips are massive !!!! Really good ventilation. Overall water-proofness is as good as any other product. This jacket is not very breathable - perspiration condenses inside in cool weather at low to moderate activity levels. I sweat a lot! All together.......Ho Hum.
