Men's Heater-Change™ Jacket is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's Heater-Change Jacket I originally purchased this jacket in a large for my husband. While it was true to size, it did not allow him ease of movement and the ability to layer. The XL worked better for him. He really likes all the pockets and the fact that some are entirely waterproof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice jacket Now that I own the jacket I can understand the complaints about the description. I bought it thinking it would be good for winter (interchange) and also for use as a rain jacket. For me, it's perfect. Light enough to use as a rain jacket and can be used as a winter jacket with a zip-in. I have a few interchanges (love the versatility of them) but the shell can't really be used as a rain coat as it's too heavy. This jacket solves that problem. It's lighter than a winter interchange and with the Omni-heat should be warm enough - I'll soon find out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Highly unsatisfied I though it will be good for winter, not true, its just a rain jacket, wont keep you warm even in the fall. Bad quality, dislike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent water/windproof layer I am an overweight guy who cannot support bulky jackets and start sweating fast. This jacket allows for humidity to evaporate which keeps you dry and comfortable and does not limit your range of motion. The zippers under the armpits also allow to cool down 'hot areas' after extensive effort. The zippered pockets allow you to carry essential gear and to keep your hands warm. This is the best jacket I've owned in recent years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement for my timber tech This shell is everything I wanted the timber tech to be. I like that the vents run vertical through the armpit. The material is not as stiff as the timber making it lighter and more comfortable. I have several zip ins to accomadate cool to cold weather and I bought a MH down jacket to layer underneath when it's really cold to help minimize the cold transfer from the outside of the shell to the inner layer. Bottom line it's a great shell at a great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket The sleeves are very long. Fits great with fleece layer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This Jakect When I watched the video, I thought this jacket two layers. But it is only one layer, so it's not warm enough. I don't recommend this jacket and the reason is cheap is because it doesn't worth. I am going to return it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what the description provided I bought this jacket because it said it was suitable for cold conditions. The jacket is very lightweight and does not keep you warm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Size not true to the specs. Guys, this jacket is way too big. I took the measures before ordering, and a M would be OK, but the sleeve length was way too big, falling under the L size. Even wearing two layers below the jacket would still be huge for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Fall/Spring Jacket I was in need of a good rain jacket that also provided some heat. This jack is perfect. The waterproofing is amazing. I can literally shake the water off myself. It keeps you fairly warm as well, but I wouldn't recommend it for wintery conditions. I'm a woman (5'3", 140 lbs) and it still fits me well. The sleeves are a little long but I expected that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps you dry and warm easy to move around in , not noisy , the hood is removable , it doesn't get in the way , I like the collar keeps wind out of neck area , and it is interchangeable , although none of my other Columbia jacketes work with the inner zipper , great outer waterproof layer , simple fleece or sweatshirt , can use all winter . And great for travel, I never use zipper love the Velcro on zipper flap . I'm ,5'9. , 160 fit me fine .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unexpected This excellent lightweight jacket was not quite what I expected when I opened the package. I expected heavier materials similar those my Horizons Pine and Bugaboo jackets are made from, so I was a little concerned at first. I also didn't expect the underarm vents to be as large as they are. Then a few days after I received it I wore it on a 13 mile bicycle commute from Shawnee, KS to Kansas City, MO that began with temps in the 30s and ended with temps in the low 50s. Then it became clear the lighter materials were selected to make this jacket more suited to higher activity levels than the other Columbia jackets I have owned. The insulated liner from my Horizons Pine Interchange jacket zips right in and makes this jacket capable of keeping me warm in very cold conditions. The jacket is so breathable that without a liner zipped in and with the vents open I won't overheat . Backpack compatibility was also a must for me, so this is the perfect jacket. I don't own a motor vehicle and live in a place with limited winter precipitation but temps reach as low as -10 deg. and may vary as much as 50 deg. from day to day so breathable warmth is essential. Soon I will choose an inner interchange jacket with good moisture wicking characteristics and I'll be set for any conditions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Undecided on its usefulness. I have been in the market for a Interchange shell with Omni-Heat for a while, basically looking for a cold-weather rain jacket, and this is the second within this specification I have tried (the first being the Evergreen, which I returned). I tried this on in the store but didn't buy it at full price since it didn't fit perfect. On sale and with rewards points, I bought it here online for $55 and, at that price, I think it's worth it despite its faults. Without a liner it is a bit baggy and really requires active use to keep warm. It does have Omni-Heat but NO insulation. I do have an older Interchange jacket that zips in nicely (although it stupidly has zero interior pockets). Unlike the Evergreen, this has the usual awkward interior and exterior zipper flaps for water resistance- the outer flap having velcro closures (which I despise). There are fancy waterproof zippers on the pockets- it would have been nice to have the same, simple zipper as the main closure. The collar section is bulky and almost overpowers the entire jacket, but I'm sure it helps to keep the warmth inside and the rain outside when properly bundled. Overall, this jacket will prove useful for what I need, but it easily could have been better if designed smarter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great jacket great price I needed a light jacket and found this Omni Heat waterproof jacket on sale 1/2 off GREAT BUY. It was delivered very fast. The first day I wore it it rained and the water proof of the jacket was great. The rain ran off in little beads and the jacket was very comfortable and breathable. I like the option to zip in a inner lining to add warmth for cold weather. This is a great looking jacket, very comfortable and functional.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not that I was looking for I needed a jacket for colder/snowy weather (0F-20F) but its more for rainy weather. Unfortunately I will be returning this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good jacket, but comes up short in few areas I got the jacket with the idea to buy a insulated liner and create my own 3 in 1 jacket, but when I got the jacket it wasn't really what I was hoping for. The fit and color was fine, but the material of the shell was thin and wasn't rugged enough. Further and probably my biggest pet peeves were: -The zipper was cheap, and the zipper grab was just a nylon/shoe lace type of material and not the nice rubber grabber that is much easier to zip. -When zipped 3/4 the way up, the upper collar does not stay up, and it falls flat on the jacket, not protecting your neck. It also looks like the 80's look for jackets when it does this. The materials were ok, but I wanted a perfect jacket for my winter use, and this fell short. I am returning it.
