Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Puffer Jacket Picked up the Mossy Green at end of season sale at a great value. Great color with nice contrasting front and pocket zippers. Lightweight and warm, easy to pack when traveling. Jacket has an athletic cut, so has a slightly fitted look. Great for trail or travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best jacket i ever buy Undoubtedly it is one of the best jackets that I have bought as much from Columbia as from any other brand. This caharra is very practical to carry easily folded and can be packed in the handbag, in my case I liked it a lot but it was not interchangeable as I said in the product description so I went to an outlet store and changed it for a 650 with omni heat and wow I left earning more, undoubtedly Lake 22 is a great jacket my wife bought one and is happy in life. I recommend it if you plan to go to the snow that if you take into account that it is not interchangeable that was the main reason why I bought it but it is certainly an excellent jacket. I advise you not to stop trying TRASK MOUNTAIN 650 TURBODOWN was the one that I found in the outlet store and I changed it by the lake 22. Of course I paid a difference like 65 dollars extra. but in reality for the price, quality, size, functionality it is worth buying Lake 22.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Warm Enough Expected to wear playing golf here with temperature in the 30's but I went out with the temperature 42 degrees and was cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Down Jacket We bought this jacket to replace a very similar one we bought my husband last year (it was stolen :( It seems to be just as warm and comfortable as the one with the foil lining.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It is perfect I bought this down jacket for my husband, it fits him well, and he looks good with it. Price is reasonable. Although we live in South Carolina, but he can use it anywhere as a layer, he said it is warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Groovy part deux The 650 fill down liner is simply amazing! Columbia has never failed to impress me with their products and this one delivers. I am very warm wearing this and the price was phenomenal. I purchased the Phoenix Blue, I get lots of complements on the color so it must be very good. This will ultimately be used as a liner using the 3-1 system but we don't get enough really cold days to justify spending the money right now. The Lake 22 is light and packable so will go in my backpack when it gets too warm to wear on the hiking trails. I am a beanpole 5'10, 135 lbs and the medium fit is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket You get exactly what you’re buying. Very light weight and warm. I purchased the 22 for mid range temps and it delivers. Not one to layer but a light vest and this jacket will do the job if colder. If it’s colder my other Columbia’s are my choice. Great jacket, great price so go get one. You will be pleased!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Black Coat I bought this coat for my husband and he looks great! He said it’s not as warm as he’d hope but luckily we’re having a mild winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good kght weight efficient jacket This jacket is a good light weight jacket but is surprisingly warm for being so light. For the price I'm not sure there is a comparable jacket with real down filling. I woulndnt wear this jacket in 10 degree weather, but it does more than fine in 20 degrees plus and may even be too warm for high 40's. I like the look - the bubbles are evenly dispersed and the collegiate navy blue color is a nice alternative to black. My only two minor complaints: 1). A little tight around arm pits when wearing a light sweater; 2) the bottom waist has an elastic band too keeping it snug but is would be nice if it were Djustable to be able to tighten or loosen. But as I said these are minor and I'm happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from katrog Ordered 2 of these jackets for the guys in my family! They wear them all the time now that they have them! They say the warmth and light weight of the jacket makes them select this one every time they go out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fit Nice jacket for Northwest "so-so" days. Keeps in the warmth without overheating. Looks nice enough to wear to the office. Fits well, with enough room in the shoulders to be active.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Thin Down Jacket This jacket is very light weight but keeps you perfectly warm. Perfect for chilly winter days when don’t like to wear a bulky heavy winter coat.

Date published: 2018-01-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Jacket I ordered a size too large thinking I would need to for it to fit over bulky winter clothing. I exchanged it for the correct size and it's perfect. For a super warm jacket, it is much less heavy and bulky than I expected. I highly recommend this jacket.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This product is a fall coat I ordered this as a gift. Coat is beautiful color and fits good. However, a winter coat it is not! My husband said he can feel cold air right thru it. I would return for coat with Omni heat lining but I threw tag away. The problem with online shopping!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket! I recently purchased this coat as it has been in the teens and twenties here in Charlotte and it's AMAZING! My other "winter coat" was an older bulkier coat that was warm but was not super comfortable. This new Lake 22 is not only just as warm but it is so comfortable I don't even remember I have a coat on. The technology in this coat makes it the lightest and warmest I have ever worn. Way to go Columbia! This one is a winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for cold weather I love this jacket! It is so lightweight yet so warm even in sub-zero temperature. Even on windy days, it is easily my go-to jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket This was my first down jacket. I was surprised how light it was yet it kept me warm. I was complimented how sharp it looks on me. I was fine in the 20 - 30 degree weather but needed something a little warmer when it has been below zero. Overall happy with the product and recommend it for early spring, fall and early winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Light weight jacket Fits great... Amazingly light for such a warm jacket... Have been wearing it with temps in the teens and it's doing a great job. Love the style and the deep inside pockets. Overall highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Succesful gift The jacket was perfect for my boyfriend to take on his winter trip! It keeps him warm and looks awsome on him! I had orded a Large for him but was way too big, so i changed it for a size medium and it was better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lake 22 Down Jacket The jacket although nice looking and light, the operative word here is LIGHT. Today 12/26/17 put the jacket to the test, It was -1° outside in Illinois so I walked 2-3 miles to post office happily ready to test out not only the jacket but the gloves. Well it did not. I felt the wind & cold. I have a omni heat & omni wind jacket from Columbia much much warmer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Greatest Hockey Coat Ever Bought this coat for my husband, he was hesitant to wear it to watch my son play hockey but found it to be super warm and so lightweight. Also bought another one for my other son to wear around campus at college. He loves the warmth and the fact that it's so lightweight and not bulky. Great for wearing to class and taking off inside without taking up a bunch of room in a lecture hall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All-Around Excellent The color is beautiful - I am very happy with the beautiful blue as is my wife. The fit is just right - flexible enough to play golf in cold weather, snug enough to keep me warm. The zipper is quality, the fabric is quality, the stitching is quality. Just what I was hoping for. P.S. The first I ordered was one size to small (I should have know that) and the return policy was flawless and easy. Columbia is a terrific company to work with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Jacket I've only had the jacket for 2 weeks or so, but it has proven it's worth. Keeps me warm on cold mornings and windy evenings. It kept me warm on a day I was outside for 5 hours in temperatures in the 20s. Only have to wear a few base layers under to keep me warm. Really like the Phoenix blue color; goes well with jeans & khakis.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not interchange compatible Good jacket. Appropriate for up to a 35deg day. This is not interchange compatible. Does not have sleeve loop and the zipper is too fine to fit the coarse interchange type zipper.
Date published: 2017-11-20
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly engineered I purchased this jacket 2 months ago. It has already failed. I was walking my dogs tonight and the zipper got stuck around my neck. I tried to unzip the jacket a few times. The zipper failed and ripped away from the collar. The jacket is unwearable after only a couple of months. Poorly constructed and would not recommend. Terrible product Columbia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, but not interchange compatible Been using all three forms of an interchange jacket as my primary jackets for probably 15 years. The shell finally wore out and I replaced it a year ago. I was thrilled to find out Columbia is still making jackets that fit. My down jacket zipper has pretty well packed up, so I decided to replace it with this. Unfortunately, despite the description, this is not interchange compatible, as it lacks the loops on the sleeves and the coarse zipper for connecting with a shell. Ended up deciding to keep this as a lighter jacket, and keep the old down connected with the shell as a heavy winter coat. This one looks as good as my previous, so I expect it to perform and hold up well. Only thing missing are pit zips, which are a nice feature if you're getting a little warm, but prefer not to pack it away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Jacket I have ever owned I purchased this jacket because I was looking for a lightweight down jacket for camping. I was concerned about the ruggedness of the jacket and how it would hold up wooded areas, particularly getting snagged on tree branches. After receiving the jacket all my worries were put to rest. The jacket is rugged and extremely comfortable. It is lightweight and provides warmth without feeling bulking. The jacket that I bought for camping has now become my everyday jacket. I have since purchased the same women's jacket for my wife. Outstanding lightweight down jacket - highly recommended. Thank you Columbia for making awesome products!
