Men’s Lhotse II™ Interchange Jacket - Big is rated out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Heaven from The coat for sloppy winter weather The Lhotse II jacket is great for those really cold (15 to -5 degree) winter days. The shell is very wind and water resistant. The jacket is very warm. The fit is good with a nice tight collar to keep in the warmth and keep out the cold. The hood is adjustable for a good fit. There is enough room under the jacket to layer up if the temperature and wind get extreme.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DashRendar from Great Multi-purpose outerwear This jacket is awesome, it keeps you very toasty on cold days, but can be adjusted by taking out the inner jacket. I bought this to keep warm when taking the dog on his walks and it exceeded my expectations. I particularly like the 3 in 1 features. The inner jacket is more than warm enough for mild cold temps. The outer jacket is water repellent so it stays dry. I was able to stay warm and dry clearing my driveway last night. my only criticism is that i wish that the connections to inside the sleeves to keep the 2 pieces together were stronger. I had one start to rip already, so now I'm extra careful with taking the coat off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Crow714 from Great combo jacket Wonderful combo jacket. I've split it a few times and both are good for their own purposes. Not bulky when worn together. So far kept me very warm but have not gone into super cold temps yet to test it. Waterproofing is good so far. I would very much recommend it. Fit was right for very broad chest type. Wasn't overly baggy elsewhere like some jackets at this sizeing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChristyLMT from Gift for my brother I bought this coat as a Christmas gift for my brother but gave it to him early because we’re Buffalo bills fans and had 3 home games in December. He absolutely LOVED the coat and has not stopped raving about it for 2 weeks. It has kept him warm and dry in the Buffalo, NY snow and cold. He actually said it’s the best Christmas gift he ever received ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by GoBlueMom from Excellent Coat I purchased this coat for my college son. He does a lot of walking outdoors to classes. This coat keeps him nice and warm during the Michigan winters! Very comfortable and great looking too!! We have purchased many Columbia jackets over the years and this one is at the top of the list!! A must have!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovelybionerd from Such a warm and comfortable jacket! I bought this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. He reports it’s very warm and comfortable. The fit is overall pretty true to size. There is extra space around the midsection. This causes the material to stick out in the back. The jacket can easily be cinched though to fix this. He reports this jacket works well with multiple clothing layers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChicagoChris from Great replacement for my 15 year old Columbia Jacket Purchased the LHoste II to replace my long time Columbia Interchangeable jacket and am really impressed. The quality of the jacket is really high with great stitching and solid construction. Material looks sturdy and is water repellent. Fit of the jacket is true to size. I really like the fit feel and light weight of the jacket. We have had a couple cold days already and even with it's light weight, the jacket is plenty warm. The only thing I would change is to add another high small zip pocket on the right side (Jacket has one on the left). The old jacket had two and I grew used to them. Overall I'm totally pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dragworm from It is a good all-around jacket I recently bought this jacket after retiring a Columbia Longs Peek all-in-one jacket that I had for 20 years. I was not disappointed when this one arrived. It is light but very warm. It has adequate pocket space, and is comfortable to wear. The one small negative is the texture of the material that the outer shell is made from tends to pick up more dust and lent than my last jacket, but overall this is a good quality jacket that I would recommend to others for purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by relaxedjeff from Great coat for a large person This is a great coat for those who need larger sizes. My autistic son is a 4x and I have challenges finding good quality, good looking clothing for him. The 3 in 1 form factor is a winner, and the thin high performance insulation keeps him warm but doesn't add excessive bulk. The one-way zipper is easy to operate once I added an extended pull. If I were to redesign this jacket, I would have it come down lower on the back (hits him mid-glute), but that could be specific to my son's physique.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Christina35 from Great coat for a northern winter I ordered this coat, for my husband, after a move, to get him through the remaining winter days in the northern United States. This coat has been warm enough for our temps in the 20’s and snow. My husband has been able to wear just the shell or just the outer layer on the wet days. I highly recommend this interchangeable coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Megan0925 from Trip to Iceland My son went on his first trip and I was worried about quality and price luckily my mom convinced me you had both. His coat was perfect and size was perfect. He was warm and comfortable and it was such a low price. I had bought another jacket from a different store and when I seen the difference in the quality I sent it back and he took this one on his trip and now he has a great jacket for our Chicago winters. He loves it. Thank you for keeping my son warm and comfortable!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by EERRIIC from Solid winter gear I’m a mail man and this jacket is awesome on cold and rainy days. Regardless of the weather we got to be out there delivering mail. The jacket is good at keeping me warm and dry. What’s sucks more than freezing? Being wet and freezing! This jacket keeps you warm and dry, and it does not restrict movement, nor is it too bulky. It was a little bit bigger than I expected, but it’s ok with because it allows me to layer up even more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LeeSvo from So Warm & Somehow Light & Thin! The Omni-Heat technology is amazing! When this jacket showed up, I initially thought I had made an ordering mistake because it was so light and thin compared to other winter jackets and coats I have had. I put it on and headed out with the snowblower in 20-degree temperature for over an hour. It was so warm I could not believe it! My neighbor was out doing his driveway and I stopped to show him the reflective lining in my new jacket. He smiled, opened his, and showed me he had the same lining! I grew up standing at the bus stop with other children who also could not put their arms down. Our Might Mack jackets were so thick that we spent winters looking like the letter "T!" I am happily more of a lowercase "i" with this jacket. Amazingly thin and somehow very warm inside. Columbia really hit a home run with this one. I came back to the site to order some socks and pants so I can keep the rest of me warm while I clear our street. A++

Rated 5 out of 5 by hatch from this is my second pair 5 years ago I purchased the same jacket to use skiing. I went with Columbia for all of my outerwear initially because I am a big guy and it seemed almost nobody else was making QUALITY outerwear for big people. I put about 170 days on the hill in all weather conditions from -10 to 50 degrees and it has worked very well. The old jacket got some wear on it so I went ahead and purchased the new one. I have 3 days on the new coat and it is great. Yesterday it was -5 on the hill and I was very warm. My only comments are this coat fits a bit larger than the one 5 years ago and I wish they had the red color from 5 years ago too. I ended up buying black, which is totally fine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by WalleyeSeeker from Compared to my last Columbia winter coat - disappointed I bought my first Columbia winter coat 20 years ago. It was the most expensive coat I had ever purchased, but given Columbia's reputation for quality and durability, I took a chance - and wasn't disappointed. It took all the abuse I could dish out, and came back for more. It was truly an investment, and I recommended it to everyone who would listen. After 20 years, it is showing its age: one or two seams that have come loose a little, and the zippers are well worn, but with a trip to a seamstress, it would be back up and running again. I decided to replace it. I've put on a few pounds, and the old coat doesn't fit like it used to - no fault of the coat. This new coat is nothing like my old one. I have owned it for less than three months, and after a trip to the store last night, I discovered a small tear in the left sleeve that will require returning it to the manufacturer for (hopefully) repair; not hiking , skiing, tobogganing, cutting firewood, all activities for which I wore my last Columbia winter coat, a trip to the store. Although it has the new high-tech insulation, it is not as warm as my last coat was, especially at the shoulders. Yes, it does appear to shed water well, and it does provide a decent level of warmth, but for the truly cold temps that Michigan can dish out, I still recommend wearing a long sleeve shirt or a light sweater under it to insure your warmth. I bought the regular size, but the sleeves still run long, so keep that in mind. The overall length of the jacket is quite good. I have read the other reviews saying this coat takes abuse and provides warmth under the worst of conditions; my own experience just three months from the date of purchase isn't that optimistic. I would classify it as a good light, possibly medium, duty coat, but it just can't be compared to my last Columbia winter coat. I am VERY disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by VancouverWinter2017 from VancouverWinter 2017 Bought on recommendation from ski shop as 'Columbia has bigger sizes 4X' quite a jump from 3X. Very warm for skiing when temp is hovering around freezing point with rain and snow. The silver lining really works well in keeping heat and sweat inside garment. Not happy with powder skirt - seen many competitors with better powder skirt at a cheaper price

Rated 5 out of 5 by John318 from Excellent winter jacket For a jacket this light, I can't believe how warm it is. This is the best winter jacket that I have ever owned. My one suggestion would be to make the zipper open from the bottom as well as the top, to make it easier when getting in and out if the car.

I get all desired features in a comfortable and stylish platform. Ascender jacket, bugaboo parka, and titanium product lines made me an avid consumer... Lhotse II exceeds all expectations!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by PH82 from Nice Jacket I give 4 stars only because I haven't had the jacket long. So far so good. The coldest I've been in with it so far is -4 and it worked perfectly. I couldn't tell it was cold. At least my torso couldn't feel much but warmth. I'm glad I bought it. I'd recommend it if you're going somewhere cold that's for sure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Redwood255 from Nice Big Man's Jacket Bought this as an everyday jacket for commuting. I usually wear a 3X but have trouble with my shoulders so I opted for a 4X to have room for layering. Fits nicely for me up top, extra room in the trunk but that was expected and wanted for layering. I used this immediately in two days at 25 degrees F with a 10 mph wind. Nothing underneath except a dress shirt and a cotton crew neck undershirt. The jacket held its own. Cut the wind and the reflective material absolutely worked to keep me warm. There is literally no bulk to this jacket either. I should also note I had the underarm vents open as I usually sweat in all weather. The not so good: The sleeves on this jacket annoy me enough that I only gave it 4 stars. The Velcro on the sleeves stops short so the adjustment tabs not only are constantly sticking out, but I can't get the sizing tight enough to keep them from riding down when I have no gloves on. Easy fix just double the Velcro length on the sleeve. Additionally the interior lining has shed slightly and left "glitter" on my clothes. I've only had it a week I attributed it to being brand new and having a few specs loosen up from manufacturing. At this point it's not an issue. Overall so far it performs as advertised. At this point I would recommend - especially for the price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bigfootcascadia from Very nice jacket I just got this XXL jacket yesterday. I'm 6'4'' and 300 lbs. Have used it with temps in the 40s, breezy and light rain. I was concerned that it would be too warm in these conditions. I was surprised that it is just nice and pleasantly warm. Completely dry and wind proof. Not too bulky in the car. The only less than sterling feature is the liner cuffs are a little tight when taking the jacket off over my large hands. Not a deal breaker. I really like this jacket and have already recommended it to a family member.
