Men's Lhotse II™ Interchange Jacket - Tall is rated out of 5 by 102.
Rated 5 out of 5 by EricN from Love my new coat I’m a large guy and order from Columbia frequently because of their big and tall sizes. I originally ordered this coat in a XXLT, same as most of my shirt purchases. However it was very large and draped on me. I sent it back and exchanged for the XLT and am pleased. The sleeves are long enough and the coat is quite comfortable if not still slightly large, but I’d still highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rare01 from Versatile, warm, waterprof Nice jacket, well built, waterproof, outer shell runs a little large (sleeve length and width), has 3 hem strings that you need to set for the occasion (cold, rain, fair), hood sized to wear on top of ski helmet, body width with ample space for a thick mid-layer or a vest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jazzman from As advertised Excellent product and thanks to the crazy weather I actually was able to wear it in May. The fit was excellent, tall large for a 6’3” guy with 36” sleeves. Like the way the liner zips in. Jacket was perfect in a cold rain

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pasquale from Versatile and Fashionable I love the look, the function, and the fit. I’m a big and tall guy and this is the best fitting coat I’ve ever owned. Winter has been cold and unpredictable with all the rain and snow, but the interchange system has been great for allowing me to wear different combinations of the inner and outer layer for the most comfort and warmth. Yes! I’m definitely warm and always dry. This is the perfect thing for those early morning dog walks in the rain or snow. I love this cost so much I convinced my girlfriend to buy one too!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Pete385 from Needed to return due to oversize I have owned many Columbia jackets over the years and XLT always fit perfect. This jacket was extremely large in the body. Very disappointed from what should be a premium grade jacket

Rated 5 out of 5 by BiggerED from 6'6" - 240lb: Fit Perfect I have a 17" neck and 29-30" Sleeves. Getting a proper fit is rare for me. Columbia Tall sizes are usually a good bet, and was right on this time too. My only issue is keeping it from my 6'5" 15-year old who loves the style (though it is a bit large on his 175 lb. frame).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pollak8 from Amazing! Fits well and great for the Wisconsin Climate! I ordered this jacket for my husband. We ordered it in a tall as most jackets tend to be too short and not cover his back very well. This jacket is a little bug one him, but thats ok! He has enough room for a sweater underneath if needed (though VERY warm jacket). The sleeves are long enough that they caover part of his hand, its long enough he can bend over and the jacket covers, and the topzips up and over his chin. He absolutely LOVES this jacket! The price was amazing as most jackets that are Big and Tall are extremely pricey and hard to come by. I wish he could have tried this on beforehand, however we learned that Big and Tall was no longer carried in Columbia Outlet Stores starting this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LRae from He likes it! My husband was without a winter coat, instead wearing a raincoat with vest under it for the past several years. I chose this one for him as a more functional replacement. The color is nearly the same as the raincoat, it appears to be of good quality, and it fits him perfectly (Tall, XL), including for his long arms, so we both are happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Runninbare from Everything I expected and more I've worn both pieces together and individually it's very warm when you need it. And Maes a great light weight rain coat.as well. The only improvement I can suggest is to put elastic on the wrist bands of the inner coat to hold in heat and keep out snow. But otherwise it's perfect for me. After reading some of the reviews I was worried about the fit. Several older reviews said it ran small and I needed a 4XT. But i think they have fixed the size issues since those reviews because if anything it ran slightly large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nate31 from Great Jacket Got this jacket as a warranty replacement for the Large version of the same jacket that developed a bad zipper. The Large Tall seems to run a little larger but I like it as there is plenty of room for a sweatshirt and more protection from the wind below the waist. Love the Interchange and Omni-Heat features. Keeps me plenty warm walking 2 miles to work, even in -20 F temps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by teach48114 from Great Jacket I am thankful for finding such a light weight, durable and flexible coat during these cold Michigan winter months. What like having the coat long where it protects me from the cold harsh winds. The Omni-Tech inner jacket keeps me warm during the cold times and comfortable while shopping in a store. I was so impressed with the jacket, I bought my father one as well. He has to brave the cold elements outside for work, and finds his new jacket very comfortable and efficient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BigSki from Great jacket So i originally ordered a size up after reading some of the reviews and while it was close i ultimately ended up exchanging it for my normal size. I bought this to go skiing in and it definately keeps you warm. The coldest i was wearing it in was 14 with a single digit wind chill and with a base and mid layer i was comfortable. Wearing this coat everyday i usually end up sweating after a few minutes of wearing it but i usually run warm so reflecting my own heat back may be a little over kill but it works. It's definately water proof and the sealed and taped seams and zippers keep all off the water and snow out and i would recommend this jacket to anyone who has any winter activities they do outdoors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike3459 from Great winter coat for the active! I purchased this coat for when I go do any winter activities. After a week long trip to Montana for skiing, snowmobiling, and dog sledding I can honestly say this coat performed well at keeping me at a comfortable temperature even at sub zero weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fhpwife from Great features I got this jacket for my husband. He loves that it is 3 jackets in one. The fit is perfect for him as he is tall and needed the length in the sleeves. The two color style is very fashionable and goes with just about everything. When all three jackets are made into one it is very warm on these very cold days we have been having.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kristy41 from Loves it! I bought this jacket for my husband who is 6'4. We bought the 3xt because the 2xt was sold out. The 3xt was like a tent. 2xt became available so we ordered that too. It is still roomy in the arm length but he loves it. He loves that he can remove the interior jacket when it warms up to above freezing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by markbigman from Great jacket - very warm - just a little big I was so impressed opening my Lhotse II jacket. I LOVE that Columbia sells (and fairly accurately labels) TALL equipment. The size of this jacket was very close if not ever so slightly larger than the precise measurements on the size and fit guide. I love the omni heat lined down inner portion of the jacket. Married to the outer shell it's a very nice coat. The size was just ever so slightly too big, and they didn't have this one in my size when I went to replace it, so I ended up keeping a different interchange jacket, but this one is killer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Carphunter from Decent fit, but could use at least one improvement I'm 6'5 and had a belly when i bought this jacket. It was warm enough for cold winter skiing and hiking, and fit well for both length and girth. One comment i would make is that it needs a 2-way zipper. With a parka like this, you should be able to upzip the bottom when you need to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rlmccoy from True to size I ordered this jacket and unfortunately I didn't figure the sizes ran true if not a bit large so I sent it back and ordered the right size. As a ski instructor this jacket will fill my needs I have always been very happy with columbia products and warranties

Rated 5 out of 5 by Linda58 from Great for winter sports! I bought the Lhotse ll Interchange Jacket, size 3XT coat for my brother, who is an avid snowmobiler. He's a big guy, about 6'4, not sure about his weight. The coat is plenty roomy, with the arms a good length, something he says is hard to find. He has used the jacket a few times, in cold snowy blustery conditions, and says he likes everything about the coat, except the zipper hardware. It's too dainty to grab with large fingers in the cold, and to find the receiving connecter end to zip up. When you have to go, and unzip your jacket to drop your snow bibs, it's frustrating to have to put your eye glasses on, lift the bottom of your jacket so you can study why you can't seem to engage the zipper closure. Larger zipper hardware would be a good solution. Other than that, he loves the coat! It's roomy, warm, keeps you dry, and he likes the style and color (deep green, deep woods).

Rated 5 out of 5 by TallEnoughToKnowBetter from Tall means extra long, in sleeves and body Ordered the Lhotse II 3-in-1 Jacket in a tall, being 6'5" and 270lbs. I'm swimming in this jacket. The sleeves are way to long for my 37" arms, the jacket hits mid thigh which is easier to deal with than sleeves that end at my knuckles. The inner jacket is sized appropriately, the outer shell is sized for a giant. I'm tall, but not ginormous. It seams the proportions for this 3-in-1 jacket are a bit skewed. Sorry to say, I'll be returning to Columbia in hopes of finding a 3-in-1 style jacket that is more in proportion to my body size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by manwithnormalsizedarms from too tight in arms so, i liked this jacket. i actually bought 3 jackets, and kept this one. sadly, as winter has continued, i realized that the arms near the elbow are bizarrely tight. which could be fine, but i can't layer under it at all. well, i can, but unless its a super slick layer it becomes impossible bunched and a lengthy and frustrating process to put on (and then uncomfortable). so, beware: try this on with real winter layers, lest this become a trojan horse for you too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jackienot27 from Poor Quality for Premium Price Where do I start? Where do I end? The stitching. There is loose stitching and threads everywhere. This is indicative of a much lower quality product than what's advertised and paid for. I'm gonna stop here. That's all you should need to know when making your decision. It's poorly put together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ENS1 from Surprisingly warm for such a lightweight jacket. My old coat lasted me eighteen years. My old coat weighed almost fifteen pounds so when I put on this coat I didn't believe that it would keep me warm. It not only keeps you warm it seems to regulate the temperature to keep you at your own body's temperature. I really love this coat so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DidiZ from Nice and Warm I purchased this jacket for my husband. We go to the Army-Navy game each. The last couple years have had horrendous weather. We just never seemed to stay warm. True to course, this year's game had perfect weather and we didn't need it. However, the weather, in Maryland, has put the jacket to test. Between the snow, the ice and the below zero chill factor, I couldn't have made a better investment. It's been a perfect fit all the way around. He's happy. I am happy! LOL!

Rated 3 out of 5 by fireInchest from Could be better The coat seem at a look very nice. Haven't had real cold weather yet to try it out. So far it doesn't seem to be as warm as my old challenger series coat from Columbia. One thing i do miss from that coat is the vents in the chest it does still have the ones under the arms. The one thing I found i didn't like is some of the stitching was not neat a lot of tag ends left and some popped stitching. I am surprised they don't have tighter QC with a coat that coast 260$ I will post some pics of what i found.

I'm looking forward to another dozen years with this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NearlyRetired from Beautifully designed coat(s) I like this coat(s) a lot and I wear it in many combinations with itself and other layers depending on the temperature and my activity. I've had it about a year - January in Chicago, February in Sun Valley, March Chicago and Wisconsin, etc. Impressive under all conditions. Just a couple of notes: Fit: 6' 3" 200 - LT fits perfectly I like the high-cut side pockets - you can get something out of your pocket while on a ski lift or buckled into the driver's seat. I don't think I've had the two parts of the coat zipped together since I got it, though I've worn them together often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PrettyBlack from Really great jacket combo for the price!! I'd been searching for a 2-in-1, or 3-in-1 jacket combo for about 2 months, (I wasn't in a rush), doing my research against The North Face®, Patagonia® and Columbia®, and I kept coming back to Columbia for it's size, color, price, and availability options. The others just didn't have exactly what I wanted...I wanted the all-black, Large & Tall size. So I finally saw this deal - $179 where others were well over $250 or so. I was so happy and rewarded when it arrived - tried it on and both pieces fit perfectly together, and individually. Plenty of motion, nothing restrictive, fashionable, spills clean off so easily with a damp cloth, and most importantly - perfect for my outdoor enthusiast lifestyle. The Omni-Heat feature is fantastic for nearly "generating" new internal heat, while the insulation, materials and craftsmanship retains it all!! Great outer pockets, inner left-breast oversized zip pocket, sleeve liners, connections to the outer shell, large hood (on shell), and so comfortable! I often wear the down jacket indoors. I HIGHLY recommend and encourage getting this combo - for the price, you can't beat it! I care for my jackets well, so I'm confident this will last me for probably 6-10 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SteveR from Not a value at any price I saved $80 off the original price, yet I'm still returning this coat. I've owned other similar 3 in 1 coats by Columbia and was pleased, prompting me to return as I needed to replace a coat. The fit is not close to that of my last Columbia, even though it is the same size. In addition, among the more annoying features is the fact that the pockets of the outer shell are closer to the armpits that any coat imaginable, making this an unnatural position to find stowed items or even keep hands warm. Terribly disappointed in this product!
