Rated 5 out of 5 by txcaley from Just Terrific Got these shoes to wear paddling and on the river and I like the so much I just where them everywhere. Just as if not more comfortable as more expensive running shoes. Couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by wilderredfish from Boat Shoes These shoes are very comfortable and look very nice . I am on the water over 200 days a year and I am always looking at different shoes which give you some support and still feel good even when they are wet. I would recommend these for sure ! Rated 5 out of 5 by MattP76 from Almost perfect, but still awesome I've tried just about every style of water shoe dating back to the ol' "Aqua Socks" of late. Sandals, old running shoes, Keens, you name it, with varying degrees of success. With the Megavent I've found close to the perfect water shoe (for me). The problem with most footwear designed for the water is that they have big drain holes or gaps, which is great for a pool but not so great if you are in nature where sticks, rocks, gravel, sand etc enter those holes. That's where the Megavent shines- it drains great but keeps the junk out. It has great support, runs true-to-size, and is crazy comfortable. Very lightweight as well. So what's not to like? First up, Columbia, you cheaped out with normal laces on everything but the PFG version. I put some LockLaces on mine and that makes all the difference in the world. Come on, Columbia! Second, the tongue is just too short. What a silly design error. It just barely comes to the top-most lace (where the knot would be). Really needs another 1/4"-1/2" to be functional. I've also noticed that with pretty light use I've been able to ding up the soles pretty well walking in a shallow river. They give every indication of being durable but it's surprising to see some (minimal) sole damage with light use. Sorry for the novel but I'm really in love with these shoes, just wish Columbia would make some tweaks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by crispeto from Perfect day hiking/water shoe What an awesome shoe. I've had the powerdrains and drainmakers but this is my favorite. The sole has an awesome trail lug so you can go from streams to trails and back again. It's super comfortable. I thought the cage design would be a gimmick but it really allow the shoe to wrap around your foot when you tighten the laces. It's a very stylish and good looking shoe. If your looking for a day hiker that can run right through water and feels like a fantastic comfortable sneaker, this is your shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Redfish118 from Great for fishing and everyday use I have about 9 pairs and wear then all the time. Light weight and great on wet surfaces too. You should have the quick lace system on them all. Hope you don't discontinue the PFG BRAND..

Rated 5 out of 5 by TexasVet from Very nice shoe I wear mine with ankle socks mostly. The shoe is very comfortable and the meshing lets my feet breathe comfortably. I've also found myself in situations where it's either raining or wet, and the water just rolls off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KCandSunshine from So Far, so good I have only worn these shoes 3x (walked on the beach about 3 miles each time) but I find them very comfortable and they fit my narrow foot well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by VerifiedBuyer from takes a long time to dry as soon as you get into the water with these shoes, there are sands and little rocks that come into the shoes. this is inevitable, as the opening on the ankle part is not cuffed or anything. and it takes 2 days to dry as another reviewer pointed out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Robertson from But wait... I just bought these things. They feel good on my feet, but I intend to wear them in a kayak or in some other such activity and I haven't had the chance to do that yet. Consequently, I'm not sure how durable they are or even how well they will drain. So maybe this isn't worth just a whole lot to you...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Loveman from Magnificent Megavent My wife and I each bought a pair of Megavent shoes for our trip to Hawaii. We hiked challenging terrain on the island of Kauai. These shoes were awesome! As we hiked through mud, waded into waste deep streams, swam under waterfalls, Megavent was with us EVERY step of the way. They dry amazingly fast-almost immediately! We endorsed this to numerous hikers we encountered. In fact, I felt for the people with boots who got wet in the streams because they had to trudge along in wet boots for the rest of the day. With the Megavent, I could sit along the stream, rinse the mud off, and have a clean, dry shoe in minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gatorwaugh1 from Great Shoes So glad I got these shoes. Perfect for being in a water environment like I am all the time. One thing I did change was the laces and got some elastic "Lock Laces" so all I need to do is slide them on and go. Fit and wear great. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wideload from Do not stop production of this shoe! Favorite water shoe of many I have tried. Fine mesh outer material keeps tiny beach pebbles/sand out! Easy on/off, even when wet, unlike shoes with neoprene-bootie construction. Very comfortable; nice width. Great lake shoes. These don't seem to be available any more, which would be a big mistake by Columbia! These are best design on the market, including Columbia's other water shoes.
