Rated 5 out of 5 by HandsomBWonderful from Comfortable shoes Wow! Breathable!!! These shoes are lightweight, with a lot of cushioning foam making you about an inch taller while still giving good, secure support. The grip on the sole is incredible! These are my 4th generation/ time getting shoes like these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CaptainBucky from Great shoe I recently purchased these shoes to try them out. I had the other version I believe they are the megavent fly and wanted to see the difference between the two. So far these shoes look and feel great. They dry fast and are very comfortable and light weight. I have not had them that long so time will tell about the quality of theae shoes. As a fishing guide I get a lot of use out of these shoes. They keep your feet from frying in the sun. They also provide excellent grip. These is not.much padding so after a 6 or 8 hour day my feet start to hurt. The issues I had with the other shoes was that they started to really stink no matter how many times I washed them. I never wore socks with them and perhaps that could keep them from stinking. Do not dry these shoes as they will tend to curl up. Let them air dry after washing. My old shoes the shoe is separatting from the sole and the lining on the inside is starting to come out. Bear in mind that I had my old shoes for over a year and contiually put them to use. I would highly recommend either shoe and will be getting another pair as soon as these new shoes are no longer wearable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hurricanecraig from Awesome I normally wear a 15. I followed the size chart and measured my foot and I ended up getting a 14. They fit great. Have awesome traction and I feel comfortable walking around the water. I love them so far. I've had them for 3-4 weeks now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by CTL123 from Excellent shoe, until it gets wet Purchased these shoes in June 2017. Wore them around dry without socks and loved their comfort. Finally used them on a mixed land/water hike and the stitching around the achilles area became instantly like sand paper on the back of my heel as soon as they got wet which really tore up the skin to the point of bleeding. Going forward, I will be wearing aqua socks to counteract this problem. Was disappointed as I wore my last water shoes (made by a competitor but discontinued) until they literally fell apart and never had this problem. Would recommend to Columbia to fix this with a different type of heel fabric.

Rated 5 out of 5 by offshoremania from Best boat shoe ever This is my second pair, love these sneakers! I originally bought them to wear on the boat fishing. I fish offshore and needed something with support and these far exceeded my expectations. The Navy makes it easy to keep clean. Loved them so much I wear them all the time and just bought another pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PirateZach from Exactly what it's s'posed to do I am a kayaker and river camper. I bought this shoe to wear on camping trips on rivers in the mountains. This is perfect because it protects my whole foot (top and bottom) from jagged and uneven rocks, much better than a sandal or flop. Plus it drains instantly so its not heavy. This is key b/c eventually, everyone has to portage their boat or drag it across shallow shoals. Pack a pair of regular shoes in your dry bag, b/c these will not keep your feet warm, once you get to camp. But great for actually being on the river.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 3300 from Toe cage is tight on top of foot to toe area I bought these and the Men’s Drainmaker™ III Shoe while there was a great sale going on here. I didn't like the all white color sole or the shoe color choices, but wanted to try several of their water shoes. these are the same shoe as I mentioned about except color and string and the fabric used seems to be turned inside out so the rougher fabric is rubbing on top of my foot to toe section and when you bend your foot to do any kind of work it gets very annoying and hurts some what. The only other difference between the two are the removable inserts. this one has a solid round foam insert where your bottom of your heal goes. I like the way the string is more and I hate tieing shoes. Altho the other pair is my new "go to summer shoes". They are much more comfortable on the top of the foot/toe area because of the softer fabric against the skin. I do not wear socks and hate wearing shoes and prefer flip-flops or bare feet, so I won't wear socks until it gets cold enough for them. I should say some thing to Columbia about the problem, but I think they already know. I wish there was a store to try these things on before buying and still get the great price break. They should use the other shoe with the string and insoles from this shoe and make one great shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by marlinhunter888 from Great and comfortable.... I bought these to give my feet a break now and then from my sandals. They are perfect! Nice and soft and dry very quickly once you rinse the saltwater out of them like you should. The laces are great and they slip on FAST!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Calvin96 from Great Look and Functionality This shoe is amazing, it feels amazing and it drains really well. Now its not waterproof but when stepping out of the water the water drains and it is an extremely different feeling than a normal wet tennis shoe. feels like the same weight, still light and not heavy at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by newguy from Great for pretty much anything! I original bought these because I was going to use them at a waterpark. They were awesome because they protected my feet against the harsh concrete as I walked from water slide to water slide. I ended up using them anytime I did any sort of water activity. They're also great for when I'm hosing off the sand at the beach, or after playing sand volleyball. I slip them right on after washing off so I don't get any more sand, dirt, or grass stuck to my wet feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GreencoreOutfitters from Fly Fishing Shoe I purchased this shoe to wet wade for fly fishing. It does just what I need, drain water instantly wile not allowing sediment in. The shoe also provides great protection, especially around the toes, and the Omni-grip sole gives excellent traction.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Katbudder from Deep Sea Fishing I went out in a chartered 25 hour deep sea fishing excursion and I had this shoes on at first I had on socks but had to pull them off due to the heat after 24 hours in these shoes I was in pain and my feet were soak and wet. I will never wear these shoes again on a extended fishing trip. They may be good only for 3 or 4 hour trip

Rated 5 out of 5 by Flytime from All day comfort! I run a guide service and on my feet all day long. These shoes by far offer some of the best comfort I have found. Get them wet, they still have great traction on the deck of a slippery boat. Run the boat all day in the chop and I come home feeling great. Plenty of cushion, traction and great style! Capt's Choice!
